Scarlett pov

I see James shift as Ashton attacks him. I gasp and see James's growl.

I never knew his wolf was so beautiful. I never knew that I had always loved him. He just broke me in every way possible. But I always felt for him. He was my everything all the time.

"James!!" I yell.

The two wolves attack viciously and I see Ashton having a lot of trouble. After all James is an alpha.

I see both boys turn back into human and Ashton trying to run away. I go up to him and grab his collar.

"Ashton... The legend is quite true. No matter how much I want to kill you, I can't. Your my brother and the weight would be on me forever. So we will banish you. Get out and don't even come 25 km around the outside of our territory." I demand.

Ashton just growls and runs away.

"James! Thank you!" Lila squealed

"Yes thank you alpha James. I'm very surprised you came to help me but... That doesn't Realy matter any more." I smile.

James just smiled and shut his eyes. I wonder if he moved on.

"Lila! Can you go get Celine. Don't let her escape." I say.

Lila doesn't even reply. Just shifts and sprints out.

"James? Why did you hide the truth from us?" I ask.

"Scarlett, I always loved you. And I couldn't tell you, that your own brother had betrayed you." James confessed.

"James... There was a time I was deeply in love with you. But you really broke me. But I feel that I still have a bond with you. Just give me some time." I reply.

"Scarlett, just take as long as you want. I can wait for centuries for a girl like you." He sighed.

I see Lila return with a fainted Celine laying on her back.

"Celine!" I scream.

She jumps up and looks at us scared.

"Were you an Ashton mates?" I ask.

She nods her head no and then starts crying.

"Celine? What happened?" I ask.

"Nick... He was my mate. And then I was rejected. And he met you, his second mate." She sobbed.

I hear a growl from James and I just roll my eyes.

"Mate? Nick?" I ask.

She nods and cries.

"Then what was you and Ashton?" I ask.

"Ashton? He blackmailed me. He said that he would kill my parents if I didn't listen to him. And now look what I've done." She cried.

I see Lila soften as I did too. I looked at james and he looked soft as well.

"Celine. I'm going to forgive you now. You'll stay with us, and be friends. But mess up once and your gone." I smile.

She grinned and we ran off towards more hunters.

After a few hours the hunters had left. They were out number again and left.

"Hey nick. Can I talk to you alone?" I ask.

He nods and we walk to his bedroom.

"Nick are you and Celine mates?" I get to the point.

He gasps and looks away guilty.

"But Scarlett! I still love you so much more!" He begged.

"That's not okay nick. How can you not feel bad about Celine. I was rejected and you felt horrible." I spoke.

"Scarlett... Please don't leave me!" He begged.

I look at him and see Tears in his eyes.

"My other mate, james...you have competition Nick. But promise me something." I look at him pleadingly.

He growls at James's name but listens.

"If I choose you, then please apologize to Celine. And if I don't pick you, then go to Celine." I beg.

He smiles and nods.

"Okay!!" He grins and quickly runs out.

Ahh probably Tyler asking for his help again.

2 weeks later

So it's been a while but it seems like so much has changed.

Alpha Andrew had left, along with Frey and Lila. I was quite upset but it was for the better. Caleb had also left, heartbroken and depressed.

"Hey Scarlett? I decided that I really need to step up my game. So lets go on a date! Get ready now!" James smiled and ran out.

It's been a long 2 weeks but I still have a couple of days before I choose who I will mate.

James, alpha and kind. Handsome and warmhearted. His only flaw is his possessiveness.

Nick, beta and a sweetheart. Honest and caring. His flaw is his Time spent with me thing.

"Got it!!" I smile and whip my phone out.

I text Celine and Emerald to see if they could help me get ready.

They both charged in and looked through my closet.

I jump into the shower in the mean time. When I'm finished I see a Black dress with Black boots are layed on my bed.

"Put it on!! I want to put on the make up!" Emerald squealed.

"And I'm so going to do your hair!!" Celine chirps.

I giggle and put my dress on. I look really nice with it on.

"Oh no! We have 20 minutes left!!" They yelled.

They decided to do both hair and makeup at the same time.

My hair was curled at the front and straight at the back. I look really beautiful. I put in black loops and my locket.

Lastly, I put my black leather boots on and a black jacket.

Ding dong!

He's here!!!

"Thanks!! Now you girls go!!" I wave and they run off.

I open the door not to see James but someone else.
