"I don't understand" I whispered.

He groaned in frustration and anger. Grabbing me by the shoulders, he pinned me to the wall behind and glared at me fiercely.

"Fine. I will make you understand. I do not love you. I will not go on dates with you. I will not give you sweet kisses and whisper to you that you are beautiful. You will be my wife, my Luna, and the mother of my children. I will respect you. I will care about your thoughts, not your emotions. You can look to me for advice and help, but do not even think about love."

I gaped at him, tears filling my eyes. My heart was breaking but I forced myself to hide the pain and blink away the tears. He pulled away from me, his hands dropping to his sides. I could see it in his eyes, he knew I was about to cry. He didn't like it.

"It would be better if you forgot your girly fantasies about mates and emotional wants. I cannot and will not fulfill them."
