kicking ass
Carol and Morrigan sat side by side, perched upon the walkway's metal rails way above the massive area. Both were confident Starforce would come upon them sooner than later and that the initial part of the plan would be okay.
Answering their prayers, the two doors that led out onto the walkway opened as did one of the bottom doors. Yon—Rogg and Att—Las strides into view. "Oh hey guys." Carol snuffed, kicking her legs out. Both look to the sides of them. On Carol's side Bron—Char And Korath stood, hungry for a fight. On Morrigan's side Minn—Erva and two other Kree soldiers. "Want to armwrestle for the Tesseract?" She joked, sticking the box up.
"You will have to beat both of us, of course." Morrigan disclosed, taunting them all. However when Korath waved around his blue swords, the playful aura disintegrated. The two women slide off the rails, Carol facing her side, Morrigan facing her side with their backs against each other.
"I used to find you both amusing." Angry, Yon—Rogg fired up his weapon. "Let's put an end to this!" Starforce repositioned themselves to his command.
"Ready to jump?" Carol asked softly, taking a glimpse behind her.
Smiling as Minn—Erva angles weapon, Morrigan sighs. "For you? Anytime."
So when Bron—Char clanged his armed hands together, Carol called out to Morrigan to jump. As the Queen leapt high, Carol threw her fist to the ground, full of power. A photon blast radiates outwards, shattering the walkway and making the Kree fly backwards and drop to the floor with the destroyed structure. Morrigan noticed that the debris covered Yon—Rogg.
She landed perfectly next to Carol, who had simmered her glow a little. The two shared a proud moment as their start to the plan had worked. Carol was the one who spotted the dropped box first just as the soldier to recover from the blast started to rise up — it was Bron—Char. He struggled at first but stood tall as he powered up his weapons again.
Morrigan noticed some shuffling to the left. "Go on. I got your back." Carol grinned and took off with her right fist glowing. The Starforce soldier came at her with everything but she had a punch that packed a lot more than he did. Morrigan had left her place and ran over to where one of the average soldiers had dropped.
She seized the opportunity and kicked the soldier in the back, making them hurl towards Carol. Then, using both fists, Danvers blasted the booted Kree to the other side of the room. Morrigan laughed as Carol's blast also sent her backwards and into a Midgard machine, letting out a groan of surprise. "You good Danvers?"

Heaving, Carol pushed herself back to her feet. "Never better — watch out from above!" Carol warned Morrigan just time for the Queen to roll out from under Minn—Erva's perfect shot. The soldier retaliated by taking a shot at Danvers who rolled to the side as well before striking Minn—Erva down with a long range blast.
Leaning on some debris to help to get back on her feet, Morrigan instantly saw two shimmering Kree soldiers swing about above Carol. "Above you!" Even if the Queen didn't alert her, Carol would've heard the massive roar Korath the Pursuer boomed as he came down with his swords, slicing straight through a storage box. "Throw him my way!"
Carol gave her the thumbs up before engaging in combat with Korath. The two soldiers deflected each other's attacks until Korath mistakened a strike from Carol. She sneakily gave him an uppercut that sent him upwards. Her body rotated in the air, flicking out a foot that threw Korath into Morrigan's domain.
The Queen let the soldier collide into the wall before she lunges forward and took him by both hands and yanked him up and over her shoulders. Smiling childishly to herself, she let go of Korath who slipped down her back and landed on his head, knocking him out. What a simple tactic.
She did not see Att—Las scurry behind her but she did hear the sound of metal being dropped as the outcry of Bron—Chat echoed throughout the room. Morrigan thought Carol had that tall one down. Bron—Char was then flung across the room as Danvers's blast shot through whatever he used to drop on her.
Jumping over debris, Morrigan rushed up to the tall soldier just as Att—Las tackled Carol to the ground. The Queen easily carried the heel of her shoe across Bron—Char's blue face. There was no need for a Root or unsheathing her sword because his head hit the floor with a loud thud.
"Don't make me do this." Att—Las was the only thing she could hear. Even though she was held down, Morrigan could still see Carol's face.
Carol's eyes narrowed on the dropped box, making it known Morrigan should go get it. She then nonchalantly said okay, followed by igniting her fists again, which not only sent them flying backwards but also kicking up the box to land in Morrigan's grasp.
The Queen watched as Carol proppelled herserl up with a curt blast being somersaulting to land on her feet. Danvers must've forgotten who stood just in front of her as she fired up her fists, casting them sideways to take out two on coming Kree.

Morrigan ducked down, merely scathing an injury. She glanced up to see Carol startled that she couldn't simmer down her fists appropriately. "Did you not see me standing right here?"
"I knew you could handle my blasts anyway." Carol smiled sheepishly. "You got the cube?" Morrigan stuck up the box, shaking it. "Good."
The two enjoyed a short breather before the sound of metal scraping metal began to grow. Looking to where it was coming from, the two women ready themselves as Yon—Rogg growls horsely, using his weapon to push around the debris.
Dropping the debris beside him, Yon—Rogg captures each women and dangles them midair before casting his arms out wide and releasing them. Carol bashes into the centered blue station as Morrigan hits her head against the wall. When Carol hit the station, it expanded and the a few blue poles became visible.
Her head throbbed immensely and her vision was very blurry. Morrigan tried to haul herself up but was so disoriented from knocking her head. All she could see was the sight of two blurred figures. One swinging their arms around, throwing mass chucks of metal around the room as the other dodge it.
Her mind recognised that it was Carol missing the attacks from Yon—Rogg eventually managed to subdue her against a wall by burying her under debris. The brightness that expanded from her fists hurt Morrigan's eyes. "Morrigan! Go to the hangar! I'm right behind you." The Queen was no help in her current state. Wobbly getting to her feet, Morrigan stumbled sideways. Yon—Rogg glanced back, increasing his pressure on Carol as Morrigan helplessly looked on. "Go!"
Listening to the blonde, Morrigan doubles back and runs out of the room. Her head pounded with each step she took. She could barely account for which direction to go in. All her mind was focused on was the sight of Carol pinned down, restrained and restricted to defend herself.
What saved her was the mental notes she took on her way inside the vessel. Using whatever concentration she had left, Morrigan navigated nimbly through the dull corridors until she came upon an open entry to the hangar. Just below her feet were fallen Kree soldiers.
She felt the sensation of an arm wrapping around her body and leading her up the ramp. Hazily staring into Fury's eyes, Morrigan realized she was on the quad jet. "You okay?"
She stuck up a finger. Having the time to focus on the pain, she let her power sooth her injury. Opening her eyes, she no longer saw shaky images and the pounding in her skull was less. "Perfect, Joey." Fury chuckled and helped the Queen to her feet.
She stood on the edge of the ramp, watching the Skrulls get comfortable. Her heart filled with joy to see Talos crouch down again to see his child. However when she mindless looked out from the jet, she noticed the growth of moving shadows emerging from the hangar door.
"No!" Shooting down the ramp, Morrigan unsheathed her blade and swung out her arm to let it transform. As her body moved down the ramp she deflected each Kree bullet the enemy shot. Although, there was one that brushed the edge of her sword that was sent straight into the jet. Hope no one got that, she thought.
The remain Kree soldiers began to shoot aimlessly at the rear end of the jet. A few sent bullets her way but Morrigan easiler maneuvered her blade to cast the attacks elsewhere. When the jet's engines roared to life and was elevated from the ground, Maria hastily bomber the hangar doors.
Everyone standing in the hangar watched in horror as the vessel's doors broke apart, sucking out the gravity and them too. Morrigan was quick on her feet and lunged towards the hangar entrance, shoving past dawdling Kree. Someone else had the same idea and jumped just in time for the entrance doors to slam shut automatically. Both skipped out on being sucked out into space.
"Minn—Erva, take them down in the drop-ship." Crouched beside her Yon—Rogg commanded the Starforce sniper to go after the quad jet. He didn't realize it was the Queen who made it though.
"Argh!" Kicking out her leg against his heels, Yon—Rogg flipped backwards. Scrambling to her feet, Morrigan reached for her sword and readied her stance.
"I liked you better when you were in a dress." Yon—Rogg exclaimed, taunting her. "I'm sure Thanos did too." How dare he mention him? If he finds out Morrigan deliberately took part, Valyriate would be at serious risk.
"Is that how you insult people?" Morrigan cocked a brow. "It's pathetic. Now, I'm going to actually beat the shit out of you."
Yon—Rogg usually would've whipped out his weapon but he stood tall and comfortable. "Hmm, I don't think so." His hand gripped a lever. "Goodbye Morrigan." He pulled it. The door opened. And the Queen was gone.

Saint's Supporter
Dumped into a world by myself, set up with a class that requires others to excel with just over a week to prepare for a fight with a literal god. This is just another betrayal to add to the list. I won't stop until I find the person who put me in this situation, along with my friend who I dragged into this mess. Transferring to another world and gaining special powers is a dream for some, but if they were dropped into my shoes... they'd probably give up. But I won't. This story has the following elements: Male MC Light RPG mechanics (no in-story stat tables) Non-standard class for the MC Moderate violence A mix of solo fights and group battles with a balance of tactics, skill and ability usage If you're looking for the below, you may be disappointed: Instantly overpowered MC (no prior skills in combat, every bit of growth is earned) Female MC (duh) Explicit sex (may be referenced, but no NSFW chapters) Health bars (damage taken and given reflects reality) Harem Gore and ultra-violence **This story is a First Draft, changes may take place during the process. Three chapters per week at minimum.** **So, this is set up as a GameLit transported to a new world story initially, but it focuses on how such a system would work in real life. There are levels, abilities and mana pools, but damage and health are realistic and combat is fast and frantic. I think that is an interesting mix. If you have any questions, just ask in the comments. I'm always happy to discuss anything in relation to the story.**
