Next day was normal.

Twins had nothing to do since they were grounded and most of all, they had to do extra workout. They were looking like they were going to die and them being dramatic didn't help.

Twins were mostly with me most of the time. We ate breakfast and lunch and everything was peaceful today.

Did I mention that my eating habits have now been so much better that where I used to eat 1/3 portion of normal, now I could eat 2/3 portion. I'm actually very happy.

Noah checked my bruises and ankle and he told that my ankle will all be healed in next 2 days. My back and arms are also much better now.

I have to go to school also from next week for which I'm excited but mostly scared coz I know Ivan wouldn't be there to protect me.

Again thinking of school reminds me of my past life, my sufferings.

Now it was dinner time and it was a kind of rule where atleast 2 meals we have to sit together and eat. This actually was a really great rule. We had breakfast together which was filled with twin's whining about their sore muscles because of extra workout about which neither my other brothers nor dad gave attention to. It was funny on how they were ignored.

It was soon dinner time and i even practiced piano with Dustin. I helped Dustin cook dinner. Once we set everything on the table, everyone came settling and greeted me. We all were eating and almost every time I'm the last one to finish but today everyone excluding twins were eating slower than me.

Hmm.... Suspicious

I finished my dinner and suddenly Ryan spoke

"Can you do the dishes today Liz? "

Now I was more suspicious because even though I have no problem but they are the only ones who restricted me from washing.

I looked at him blinking, narrowed my gaze suspiciously and he looked amused by my reaction. I slowly nodded and said a small okay and went to wash my dishes. Twins also came behind me and joined me to wash the dishes.

Just as I opened the tap i yelped and immediately closed the tap but damage was already done.

"Ahhh" Along with twins. And soon we heard laughing, everyone except twins were laughing. Even Dad and Ryan were laughing. They were also recording our reaction.

Now you must be thinking

'Why we yelped?'

'Why are they laughing?'

'And most importantly

'Why were they recording? '

Because

WE WERE DRENCHED IN WATER

Just as I opened the tap the sprayed at us.

'How did they even do that? '

I was looking at them with wide eyes and flabbergasted along with twins.

THEY PRANKED US.

"How does it feel to be drenched sweety? " Ryan asked while still laughing at our reactions.

Any genius could guess whose ides it was

RYAN

I was still blinking at him.

I turned to dad

"Dad you also" I practically whined.

"Sorry sweety but it was worth to watch your reaction" He said amused.

"But we already got the punishment, why did you involved us? " Now twins whined.

"Tbh it was for Liz only but your reaction was bonus. " Ryan replied.

Now I turned again to him

"Only I was your target! " I said annoyed.

"Well it was your idea of that prank and moreover you didn't get any punishment. " He said nonchalantly.

Now I turned to Ethan knowing Noah and Dustin would have happily joined him.

"You also didn't try to stop him or warn me? " Again my voice came out like a whine.

Ethan looked at me amused.

"Did you liz tried to stop twins when they decided to prank me. No right. And moreover you gave them the idea on how to prank me. Well, it was my luck that I was lucky that day"

I grumbled

"Fair enough"

I looked back at the tap again wandering how he prepared this. I looked at the tap closely and gasped again. He had attached a penny with tape at the point from where the water comes. A little space was left from where the water cane from full force splashing both me and twins.

I took the tape and penny off and looked at them.

"Seriously? " I said while showing them the penny. They all laughed at my reaction.

"Now go and change Or you'll catch cold" Ryan said while walking out of the kitchen but stopped at the entrance and again said "also you don't have to do the dishes" He amusedly said and walked out.

"Did you notice something sweety? " Dad said softly and looking at me lovingly.

I looked at him questioning and curious.

"After you and your mom left us, Ryan stopped smiling and laughing was very far, but now with you in this house, he not only started smiling but he's laughing. Wholeheartedly.

I'm really thankful to God to send you back to us" He said and I could hint a layer of tears in his eyes.

I looked at everyone and everyone agreed and they all were looking at me lovingly.

Soon dad sent me and twins to change.

Once I reached my room I took my clothes and went to bathroom to shower and dress.

As soon as I looked at my mirror my eyes widened

I was looking like a drenched rat. I was looking really funny. Now I know why they all were laughing hysterically. And since my reaction was wide eyes, I would have looked so funny. Even I couldn't help but laugh on how ridiculous I looked.

Dustin was recording and I'll ask him tomorrow for the video.

I showered and changed into my pj's and went to sleep. As soon as I closed my eyes I couldn't help but think

'How did I start trusting them so easily? How was I now liking the idea of having a family? Why wasn't I scared even though they have a dangerous aura? '
