Poppy didn't think that Angelisa was going to be anything like she was, and when she watched the blonde-haired Angel make her way down the corridor toward her, it was as if there was something different about the creature in front of her. There were so many things that Angelisa and her people could teach humans about what was going on in their world, but that wasn't what the woman was there for. She was there to make sure that the Angelic Artifact that they had wasn't going to kill any of them.
The Fallen Angel glanced over all of the S.H.I.E.L.D agents that were in the room for a few seconds before her eyes landed on the dark-haired woman as she stood there. The two of them stood in front of each other for a few moments, neither of them knowing what to say to each other before the blonde-haired woman made her way over toward the lab that they were holding the artifact in. Angelisa's eyes glanced over the artifact for a few seconds, before a small chuckle left her lips.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "I remember crafting this artifact," Angelisa spoke as she stared at the device in front of her before she picked it off of the table and she held it in her hands. She tilted it to the side as Poppy stood beside her and she shook her head. The Fallen Angel turned her attention to the other woman for a few seconds, giving her a small smile. "Yes, it's Angelic, to clarify your question."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Yes, but that wasn't our only question when we asked for you to return to Earth," Poppy reminded her as she stared at the woman in front of her, before nodding her head toward the device in front of them. She clenched her jaw for a few seconds before she nodded her head toward it. "Is it harmful?"

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Angelisa stared down at the artifact for a few seconds, before she placed it down on the table again, turning to face the other woman, "What is it that you hope to use it for? Hmm?" Angelisa questioned her as she folded her arms over her chest. "Because an artifact like that, is not an easy one to manipulate."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Poppy inhaled deeply as she stared at the celestial being in front of her, before nodding her head, "You remember the woman, Fayre Harlow from your last visit," Angelisa nodded her head at the question. "Well, she wishes to remove the immortality that she had bestowed upon herself during the accident that had given her her powers, as well. She has been looking for a way out of it and we believe that this artifact may be able to help her."
Angelisa stared at the woman in front of her for a few seconds, before turning her attention back to the artifact in front of her. She reached over and rested her fingers against the metal of it and she traced them against the symbols that were etched into it. She tilted her head to the side as she stared over her work, before turning her attention back to the other woman in front of her.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Immortality is something that most humans wish for," Angelisa pointed out, and Poppy shook her head.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Not Fayre," The dark-haired woman replied as she shook her head, and the Angel furrowed her brows as she stared at her. It was easy for Poppy to see that the other woman didn't understand why she wouldn't wish for immortality, but she just wanted the Angel to help them in their time of need. Seeing as she said that she would do just that. "Please, just tell me that this will help us."

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A few moments passed as the Angel glanced back to the artifact, before turning her face back to Poppy, "It will work, it will just take time. No harm will come to Fayre, seeing as it was an artifact that was designed to cure most ailments that my Father had thrown into the world. It should be able to take away her immortality, as well as any other powers that were forced on any of the Avengers. Just . . . be careful."
The Fallen Angel stared at the woman in front of her for a few seconds, before making her way out of the room, leaving Poppy alone with the device. Poppy turned her attention over to the artifact and she clenched her jaw as she stared at it. She was grateful that it would be able to take away the immortality that Fayre had, but she was worried that it would to more than that. She was worried that it would do so much more harm to her, even if the Fallen Angel said that it wouldn't.
When it came to magic, there were always consequences, and that was something that she had learned. There was always something that could go wrong, and she was hopeful that the Fallen Angel would stay and help guide them through what it's as that Fayre was going to have to do to wipe her immortality away. Fayre wanted to be free from the immortality, but she still wished to use the powers that she had gained on that day when her lab had exploded.
Poppy inhaled deeply as she took one last glance at the Angelic Artifact before she began to make her way out of the lab. She knew that she was going to have to inform Fayre of everything that Angelisa had said to her. But something made her believe that the other woman was already going to be well informed on everything that had been told to her already.

Tales of a Grim World.
Ancient prophecies say that once every thousand years, one shall rise to bring about a new age of darkness. A harbinger of evil, a being born for the sole purpose of sowing misery and disgrace. Through them, the world shall know of war, famine, pestilence and death— the four seals that herald the end of times. Besieged by the maws of evil, humankind shall suffer in agony as they watch everything they once knew be unmade before them. To oppose such a being, the whole world has had to stand united, in the battles that came to be historically known as the Great Holy Wars. Guided by the Saintess of Irithel, brave heroes coming from the four corners of the world had to sacrifice their lives in order to fight against the Harbinger and cast away the darkness. Our story begins in the year 578, a bit over six hundred years since the end of the fifth holy war. In the kingdom of Valtia, a small nation belonging to the Union of Western Kingdoms, an urgent missive bearing the royal seal arrives at the hands of Earl William Taylor. Though it might still be almost half a millennia too early for another Harbinger to be born, dark clouds already loom over the northern continent of Gram, as many bizarre events start taking place. Follow the story of our main characters as they struggle to survive in a grim, unforgiving world. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Warning: This work is intended for mature audiences and contains adult scenes and heavy descriptions of violence and gore.
