Poppy knew that she had to listen to the ghosts if she wanted them to go away, and that was what she was going to do. The dark-haired woman did whatever it was that she could to make sure that she was able to appease the ghosts in whatever way that she could, and when she believed that she was able to do such, they were able to go away. Poppy knew that she wasn't able to get rid of the abilities that she had, but she knew that there were things that she was going to have to deal with in order to continue on with her life.
Which was why the woman found herself in her office. Goose was laying in the cat bed beside her desk as she stared up at a hologram board and she tilted her head to the side for a few seconds, before she swiped away what was projected on the board for a matter of moments before she glanced down to the file that was resting on her desk. She stared down at the pile of papers for a few seconds before she looked over to her door to see that Fayre Harlow was standing in her doorway.
The two of them stared at each other for a few moments, before Fayre made her way into the office and took a seat in one of the empty seats at the small table in the room. Fayre stared at the woman in front of her for a matter of moments, before Poppy could tell that the woman in front of her wanted something. Fayre usually didn't come into her office unless she wanted clearance on something, or if she had something to mock her with. There were so many things to say to her as she stared at the woman for a few more additional seconds until Poppy found herself letting out a heavy sigh.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Fayre, you know that I love you, but what is it that you need me for?" Poppy questioned her as she glanced over toward the other woman as she stood in front of the hologram board.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Fayre stared at the other woman for a few seconds, before shaking her head, "Poppy, do you really think that I came here to ask you for something?" Poppy furrowed her brows at the other woman for a few seconds, before she shook her head. "Look, I just need you to clear something for me. I need to do a little bit of research with an artifact that has been locked away, but it seems to have gone missing--"
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "If you are looking for the Ancient Angelic artifact that Dr. Valencia had been working on, that has been permanently returned to the Angelic being, Angelisa," Poppy answered her as she stared at the other woman for a few seconds and she shook her head at her. Fayre let out a heavy sigh as she stared at her for a matter of seconds, before folding her arms over her chest. "I know, I know, but it was an agreement that was made. That artifact was far too dangerous and there was no need for it to stay here, especially with everything that tends to happen here."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Fayre pressed her lips together for a few seconds before she glanced over to her, "And I take it that the Angel Angelisa had the artifact destroyed," Poppy nodded her head as she stared at the woman in front of her, and Fayre let out an annoyed groan. "Dammit."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Why? What's going on?" Poppy questioned her and Fayre shook her head for a moment. "You know that you can't hide anything from me, so out with it."

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "You know that I have been attempting to figure out a way to dissolve my immortality for years, and I was hoping that that artifact would've been able to help me in a way," Fayre replied to her as she stared at the other woman as she pushed herself to her feet.
Poppy knew what it was that Fayre must feel to have to live with the burden of immortality, seeing as she lived with her own form of it, but yet, she didn't know what it felt like completely. she knew that the other woman had wanted to be able to do whatever it was that she could to get rid of immortality, but when every single way that she could get rid of it disappeared, she began to lose faith.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Poppy made her way over to her friend and she rested her hands on her shoulders, "We will find a way to remove your immortality, Fayre. We will, but that artifact wouldn't have done you any good, it would've only given you harm. there has to be another way for us to help you."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "I sure hope so,"
Fayre stared at her for a few seconds, before the other woman made her way out of the office. Poppy watched as her friend made her way out of the room and down the various corridors. The other woman inhaled deeply, before exhaling deeply. She knew that there were so many other things for her to do, other than think about what it was that she was going to do with her relationship with Carol, and now how she was going to help Fayre. There were so many things that she was going to do, and her plate was beginning to build up with so many things.
She just didn't know what it was that she was going to do when everything continued to pile up and blow up in her face. The only thing that she could hope was that it wouldn't blow up and that she would be able to figure out a way to fix all of the things that were being thrown her way.
