CHAPTER 24: FIRST KISS

Nandto kami sa condo nila Nicole. Nagyaya si Alliyah dahil sabado naman daw ngayon. Niyaya nakan kami ni Nicole na sumama. Chill day daw since puro school works at quizzez kami this past few days.
Astig nga e may condo pa silang nalalaman.
"Boys?In dahil sa init ng panahon." Sabi ni Nicole.
"Girls? Dalhin niyo muna sila dun sa vacant room na magiging kuwarto na ni Karryle. Magluluto pa lang kasi ako ng lunch natin." Sabi pa nito.
Aangal sana si Karryle, pero ipinagtulakan na siya ni Alliyah papuntang hagdan kaya sumunod na din ang mga kaibigan ko. Nagpa-iwan ako para tulungan si Nicole umakyat din kasi si Leona.
Sumunod ako sa kaniya papuntang kusina.
"Oh? Louise may kailangan ka ba?" Nakangiting sabi nito sa akin.
"Wala naman tutulungan sana kita?" Patanong na sabi ko.
" ako." Sabi niya.
Habang tinutulungan ko siyang maghanda ng mga ingredients nagkwekwento siya.
Pero bigla siyang napatigil ng mapansin na ubos na pala ang soy sauce.

Pagkabigay ko sa kaniya ay agad itong nag "thank you." na ginantihan ko ng ngiti.

"" Sabi nito at bahagyang natawa.
Tumingkayad ito para maabot ang cabinet.
Nakuha na niya pero sumala ang paa niya kaya dalidali ko siyang sinalo pero dahil sa kamalasan may naapakan akong plastic kaya nawalan ako ng balanse. Napapikit ako.
Parang may malambot na bagay ang dumikit sa labi ko.
Pagmulat ng mata ko ay agad na nanlaki ang mata ko. Dalidali siyang tumayo at umali sa pagkakapatong sa akin. Nanlalaki ang mata nito habang nakawak sa bibig niya.
Naramdaman kong bigla angbpagbilis ng puso ko. Napahawak ako sa tenga ko ng maramdamang parang uminit ito. Panigurado namumula ito.
"" Biglang dumating si Karryle. Naputol ang sasabihin nito ng makitang tulala kami parehas.
Agad naming tinapos ang linuluto na para bang walang nangyari.
Aksidente lang ang nangyari pero dapat akong magsorry dahil kasalanan ko kung bakit nangyari iyon.
Pero paano? Baka iwasan ako nito dahil sa nangyari.
Naapatingin ako kay Nicole na busy sa pagluluto. Napahawak ako sa labi ko at bahagyang napa-iling.
First kiss niya din ba ako?

And while Alder never means to find himself caught up in chaos, monsters, magic, and mayhem always seem to have a way of finding him. You want more specifics for what you're reading? Here you go: This is Urban-fantasy but a little bit of a different spin. Often the protagonists in such stories tend to be the bigger fish in their world, or at least far from small fry. Be they legendary boogie men or badass wizards (which is in no way a bad thing, I love a lot of those stories.) But I thought it would be fun to have a protagonist who's far closer to the bottom end of the scale. He has some magic, and it's potent in its own way. But he isn't the big dog or a fighting machine. Outside of his bubble of influence, our protagonist is essentially a normal human as far as powers are concerned. And while you should be warned that this story will get dark in some places it's (hopefully) balanced out by humor and the lighter stuff. I'm not sure how to end this synopsis section so I'll just say bye. Bye!
