WARNING: guys, this chapter is a whole roller coaster of emotions.
sᴇᴠᴇʀᴀʟ ᴅᴀʏs ᴘʀɪᴏʀ:
Damon walked over to the small table near the couch and poured himself a drink. He spoke to Elena who was seated in the room with him. "Listen, Elena, the school year's over. Klaus left Mystic Falls. We haven't heard anything from Silas in a while. We can go on living a stress free life."
"Just because Klaus left town with Percy doesn't mean we can have a stress free life, Damon. The other originals are still here, and I doubt they'll start leaving us alone." The brown eyed girl argued.
"Who cares? With Klaus being in New York, or wherever it is he disappeared to, we can take care of the other originals. We've daggered Elijah and Barbie Klaus before, and I'm sure I could take care of Kol." He took a sip of his drink.
Elena shook her head. "We don't have the daggers, Damon. And do you really think you can take down an original on your own? We'll need help."
The blue eyed Salvatore's eyebrows were furrowed. "We'll get Bonnie to use her witchy-woo and it'll be fine. Stop stressing, Elena."
"I'm not stressing. I'm vengeful. When you had me turn back on my emotions, I focused on hate."
Stefan walked into the room, stopping Damon from responding to the doppelganger's words. "We have a problem," he announced gruffly as he leaned against the doorway of the room, his arms crossed across his chest.
"Then go take care of it," Damon replied as he looked at his brother. "I'm not in the mood to hear about some new villain we have to take care of." He took another sip of his bourbon.
"Klaus and Percy are back in Mystic Falls. I just saw them at the Grill." Stefan continued.
Elena was visibly upset by the words. "Percy's back too?"
"Yep." Stefan replied with a fake smile, before bringing his gaze back to his brother. "We have to come up with a plan."
Damon rolled his eyes, "We kill the originals. That's the plan."
"With what, Damon?" Stefan demanded. "We don't have anything that can take them down."
The black haired vampire shrugged, "We'll get some."
The younger Salvatore shook his head. "The only thing that can kill an original is the White Oak stake, and last I checked, we're not in possession of any. And even if we could get some, there remains the chance that killing an original kills its entire bloodline. So killing them is not an option."
Damon moved to sit down on the couch, his arm outstretched across the back of it as he responded. "Then we don't kill them. We put them into a very deep sleep. We've been told before that the one thing capable of taking down a supernatural creature is at the hands of a-"
"Witch." Elena finished for him. "You're suggesting we use Bonnie?"
"I'm suggesting we get some help from a lot of witches. Klaus has a ton of enemies, and so do his siblings. I'm sure we can get some to help us get them out of our lives." The blue eyed vampire replied.
Stefan shook his head, "You're forgetting one keyplayer here. Percy. She's always around them, especially Klaus."
"Then we'll find a way to separate them," Elena interjected, "It shouldn't be too hard. We know what she is now, so we know her weaknesses, and we can use them against her."

Damon scoffed, "What are we supposed to do? Find a way to summon a bunch of Greek monsters to her location, while we attack Klaus with a bunch of witches?"
The brunette looked back and forth between the Salvatores. "That's exactly what we do."
--^--
Elena and the two Salvatores stood around a large table as they continued formulating their plan.
"We can't tell Caroline about this," Elena spoke firmly.
Stefan furrowed his eyebrows, "Why not?"
"She and Percy are friends. Caroline might not want to help us if she knows we're trying to hurt her," the doppelganger pointed out.
Damon scoffed, "You don't think her hate for Klaus would overpower her little friendship? Besides, Blondie was friends with you long before Percy."
"We're not risking it, Damon," the brown eyed girl insisted.
The blue eyed vampire sighed. "Fine," he uttered in annoyance.

Klaus and Percy were laying next to each other in bed. The sun had risen, and they were both awake, but neither of them felt like getting out of bed. They just wanted to enjoy laying beside each other.
Rudy was still asleep at the foot of the bed, laying on blankets.
Klaus wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer. He tucked his head into her neck. "Can you be mine forever, please?" He asked with a smile.
She laughed softly, "I guess. But only if you'll be mine forever as well."
He readjusted his position so that he could look at her. "Always," he responded with a grin, his dimples appearing on his cheeks.
Klaus leaned forward to kiss her forehead.
An adorable smile spread across her lips. She moved closer to his face and pecked his lips.
Neither of them could contain their lovesick grins. They practically had heart eyes as they looked at each other.
They each felt so happy just simply being in the other's presence.
"You're the most incredible person I've ever met," Klaus commented.
Percy smiled, "Really?"
He nodded. "Definitely." He picked up her hand and pressed a soft kiss against the knuckles.
She grinned and gently moved her hand out of his, to move closer to him. She ended up rolling on top of him.
Their faces were close together, and they both ended up laughing. The raven haired beauty replied to his compliment, "Well, I think you're the most amazing awesomest fantastic wonderfulest person ever."
His devilish smile appeared on his lips. "I'm all of those things?"
"Yup," she sent him a grin and leaned forward to peck his lips. He kissed her again, before uttering the words, "I love you."
The sea green eyed being looked into his blue ones. "I love you too."

Percy sat at the kitchen table of the Mikaelson house, eating a bag of popcorn.
Klaus entered the room and wandered over to where she was sitting.
"What's up?" The demigod questioned as she looked up at him.
The hybrid had a small smile on his lips, "Would you like to go on a date with me?"
The demigod grinned, "Uh, yes. Let's go." Her eyes locked with his, "Wait, when did you wanna go?"
His eyes had a playful look to them, "I was thinking nowish," he replied. There was a soft smile on his features.
Percy grinned, "I like the way you think. Nowish sounds good."
Her eyes widened as she remembered something. "Wait a second." Percy pointed a finger at him in an accusatory way, "Graduation is in a few hours."

He sighed dramatically, "I was hoping you'd forget."
Percy gasped with equal dramaticness. "Was the whole date idea a ploy for you to get out of going to Rebekah's graduation?"
"I would never do such a thing," he answered with a teasing smile in a tone that insinuated the opposite of what he said.
When she gave him a look, the original sent her a small smile, "I'm kidding." His blue eyes seemed to become even more adorable. "I just want to take my extraordinary girlfriend out on a date."
How dare he? The g-word is my weakness. That villain!
She playfully narrowed her eyes at him. Her mind added, He called you extraordinary too.
Dam him!
As though he knew her thoughts, he put his hands up in mock surrender. "We'll be back in time for graduation."
She examined his eyes and could tell he was being truthful. Percy stood up from her seat and faced him. "Fine," she agreed, another small smile appearing on her face.
Klaus grinned. He took a step forward and placed a gentle kiss on her cheek.
The raven haired beauty looked up at him. "So what are we doing for this date?"
He licked his lips slightly and glanced away for a moment, before bringing his gaze back to her. "I'm going to be honest with you, love, I didn't plan that far."
Percy laughed. She moved her arms to wrap around the back of his neck, and his automatically wrapped around her waist. "That's fine. We'll just wing it." She grinned at him and leaned in to give him a peck on the lips.

The daughter of the sea grinned as an idea popped into her head. She happily walked toward the kitchen cabinets and pulled out a bag of cookies.
Percy walked back over to Klaus, holding the bag, and wearing a proud smile.
She gestured to the cookies demonstratively. "Cookies," she said, as if it explained everything.
"Yes, what about them?" Klaus questioned.
"Picnic."
He smiled, "Okay, but we need more than just cookies."
"I feel like cookies are the only necessary item," she smiled playfully.
He chuckled. The orignal smoothly wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed her cheek. "I completely agree that cookies are important, my love." Klaus had been properly educated on the importance of cookies from Percy.
"But I think there should be more food." He knew how much she loved food, and he wanted to make sure she was happy.
Percy grinned at his words, "Well, I can't say no to more food."
"Alright, love," his dimples appeared on his face. "I can pick up food from somewhere. Do you want anything in particular?"
Her face turned more serious as she focused on deciding which food would be best. The raven haired beauty's face lit up, "Can we get chicken nuggets?" She was so excited as she asked the question.
The hybrid nodded, a soft smile still painted on his face. "Sure, I'll be back in a few minutes with the food."
"Yay!" She grinned widely. The sea green eyed being leaned forward to peck his lips.
Before he could leave the room, she added, "Can you get juice boxes too please?" Her adorable eyes looked at him, and her smile was brighter than the sun.
"Anything for you, sweetheart," he replied with an amused smile.
She cheered, fist bumping the air excitedly.

Annabeth arrived outside of the Mikaelson mansion and set her bags down to knock on the door.
Within seconds, her girlfriend opened the door and threw her arms around her, pulling her in for a tight hug. Annabeth laughed softly and immediately held Rebekah back just as tight. "Hi."
The original's head was tucked in the demigod's shoulder as she softly responded, "Hey, Annie."
Annabeth gently ran her fingers through Rebekah's hair in a comforting way.
The vampire adjusted her position so she could look at the grey eyed demigod. "I missed you."
Their faces were really close together. Annabeth smiled, "I missed you too."
They each shared big smiles on their faces. Both of them leaned in and their lips connected.
Smiling into the kiss, their foreheads gently leaned against each other.
Annabeth moved one of her hands up to gently hold Rebekah's cheek.
The original's face turned worried as she sensed a little bit of blood. Rebekah leaned back and gently grabbed the other blonde's arm to look at it. There was a long cut along the side of her arm. "What happened?"
Annabeth shook her head, "I ran into a few monsters on the way here." She looked back up at Rebekah. "I took care of them though."
The blonde vampire still looked worried, "But you're hurt," she spoke gently.
Annabeth used her other hand to tenderly guide her girlfriend's chin back up, so their eyes could meet. "I'm okay." She kissed Rebekah's forehead. "I've faced worse," the demigod sent her an encouraging smile.
Rebekah nodded slightly. She picked up Annabeth's bags off the ground, before returning his eyes to the daughter of Athena. "You ready to go inside?"
The grey eyed demigod sent her another smile and nodded.
They entered the living room and Rebekah set the demigod's bags down. She turned back to look at Annabeth, "I'll be right back."
She went to the kitchen, and returned a minute later with two glasses of fruit punch.
The original set them down on a table. She looked back at Annabeth. "Vampire blood can heal wounds," she explained to the grey eyed demigod. Then she bit into her wrist and let her blood drip into one of the glasses.
Returning her gaze to Annabeth, the vampire continued, "If you want, you can drink this and it'll heal the cut."
The daughter of Athena nodded. "Okay."
Percy entered the room. "Hey, Bex, do you know where I could find a blanket that you wouldn't mind getting dirty?" She figured she should find a picnic blanket if Klaus was getting the food.
The raven haired beauty noticed Annabeth was here. "Wise Girl!" She exclaimed. The demigods walked forward to hug each other. "Hi!" Percy greeted.
Annabeth laughed as they pulled away. "Hi, Seaweed Brain."
Rebekah grabbed a blanket from somewhere in the room. "Now, what's this about needing a blanket I don't mind getting dirty?"
"Nik and I are having a picnic." She answered. Before either of the blondes could remind her, Percy continued, "We'll be back in time for graduation."
The original slowly nodded. "Next time, can you just say picnic blanket? The way you worded it was a bit..."
Percy was confused. "A bit what? What did you think I meant?"
Rebekah quickly shook her head and handed her the blanket. "Nothing."
Annabeth made a sound of amusement. The noise brought the vampire's attention back to the grey eyed demigod. Rebekah was reminded of what they were doing before they got distracted.
The blonde original gestured to the table Percy was standing next to. "Hey, Percy, could you please get that glass next to you?"
Percy nodded and set the blanket down. "Which one?"
"The glass closest to the edge of the table."
The raven haired beauty picked up both and walked over to the pair. She held out the one Rebekah asked for.
Annabeth gently took the glass from Percy and took a sip of it.
Percy gestured to the other glass, "Can I drink this one?"
Rebekah smiled in amusement and nodded. "Yeah, I didn't drink any yet."
The demigod happily drank a mouthful of the fruit punch.
Her eyes noticed the cut on Annabeth's arm and she stopped drinking. "Are you okay?"
The blonde nodded and told her about the monsters she encountered, and they explained how Rebekah's blood which was in the glass, would heal her.
Klaus arrived back home with the food and juice boxes. "Are you ready to go, love?"
Percy nodded and walked back over the table to set her glass back down. The hybrid glanced at Annabeth and waved, "Hi, Annabeth."
"Hi," she smiled in return.
Percy glanced back at her friend. "You sure you're okay? I can heal it with water."
Annabeth sent her a smile, "Percy, we've both had worse. It's just a cut. Don't worry about it."
"Alright," the raven haired demigod smiled in return. "See you both later."
The daughter of Athena added, "Don't be late."
She grabbed the blanket and replied to Annabeth,
"Psh. I'm never late."
Percy went to the couch where Rudy was laying to kiss the top of his head. "We'll be back soon, baby."
He licked her hand in appreciation.
He's so precious.

Percy and Klaus ended up finding a spot in the woods to have their picnic.
They spent their time laying on the picnic blanket, looking at the clouds passing by in the sky. Their hands were intertwined as they would take turns trying to make out shapes of the clouds.
The demigod ate a lot of chicken nuggets, fries, and cookies. She also got Klaus to eat some too.
Percy also went through six juice boxes.
The hybrid took a sip of a juice box, his eyes trained on the sky as Percy pointed at a cloud that she thought resembled a dinosaur.
Klaus stopped drinking his juice so he could focus on spotting the cloud she was referring to. "Where do you see the dinosaur, love?"
She replied, "The one next to the hat, but above the turtle." She was naming previous clouds that they had pointed out.
He turned his head slightly to the side to get a better angle. When he could make out which cloud she was referring to, the original replied, "Oh, I see it, my love. It does look like a dinosaur."
She turned her head to see him. He looked so peaceful.
The hybrid could often be so stuck in his thoughts. He would stress about all the people out to get him, he would make plans to take down his enemies, he would try to come up with ways of murder that would add the most pizzazz and dramatic effect. He would try to find new things he could paint, which was a difficult task when he was someone who's been around for a thousand years. And to top it all off, he would think about Percy. Unlike any of the other thoughts that would take over his mind, she made him feel unimaginably happy.
She was like the joy he felt when he created the perfect color when painting. She was like the joy he felt when he managed to prove his siblings wrong. She was like the calm that was left after a long storm. She was like a bottle of shampoo that never ran out.
She was actually better than all of those things.
She was the remaining warmth that lingered after a campfire died out. She was the brightest star in the sky and the warm sun above. She was the piece of the furniture that held everything together. She was everything. She was everything that was good in the world and even more.
To him, Percy Jackson was his world.
The demigod's eyes scanned over his face, appreciating how calm he looked.
When it was just the two of them, he let his guard down. He trusted her, and allowed parts of him that he wouldn't normally show to come to the surface.
Percy kept her gaze on him, finding he was much more captivating than any cloud in the sky. She looked over his features as though attempting to commit them to memory. Each feature, each part, each piece of him that existed she wanted to know. To her, he was extraordinarily on the inside and out.
It wasn't that she thought he was perfect. Loving someone doesn't mean that a person doesn't see their flaws. Loving someone means loving them despite their flaws.
And when a person fully accepts someone, faults and all, that in itself is what it means to truly love. And in that perspective, the person one cares for, is perfect.
It's like the phrase: perfectly imperfect. Why should having flaws mean something isn't great? The world is far more complex than that.
The original hybrid glanced over at her, and their eyes met. "Is the date okay so far, my love?" He asked softly.
She grinned widely. "What? It's amazing!" The raven haired beauty moved closer to him. Her hand moved past his chest and up to his face to hold his cheek. She pecked his lips. "I love this date."
Her assuring words made a small happy smile appear on his face.
"I love you," he spoke as his eyes gazed into hers.
Her smile widened, "I love you too."
They stayed like that for a few moments, just staring into each other's eyes.
Then, Percy adjusted her position so that her head was resting on his chest. "You know what I think?" She asked, a hint of a smile painted across her lips.
He moved his head to look at her. "What do you think, my love?"
"I think this is the best date ever," she commented.
Klaus felt like his heart fluttered in his chest. He looked at her in awe.
