Later that night, the pair arrived back at the Mikaelson house with Rudy.

Klaus and Percy sat on the couch. Rudy was laying on a big comfy chair next to the couch. The raven haired beauty was cuddled up beside the original, half of her body on his.

The demigod rubbed her eye tiredly. "I'm sleepy." She commented. "But sort of in a cranky way, where if anyone talked to me besides you, I'd probably snap at them."

The hybrid laughed. It was a genuine laugh, bursting from deep within. "I'm the exception?" Klaus questioned, as he regarded her. Her eyes were closed.

The sea green eyed girl yawned slightly. "You're always the exception."

Klaus felt joy swell within him. Her words were so unfeigned and sincere.

"I am, love?"

Percy nodded. "Of course you are." She said softly, her eyes remaining closed.

His fingers gently ran through her hair. The original placed a soft kiss against her forehead. Klaus' lips lingered on her skin for a moment.

"I love you." The words fell from her lips, with emotion emerging from her sleepy voice.

Klaus' expression changed into something resembling awe. His mind couldn't wrap around how someone as incredible as her could love him.

Although he had wished to hear those words from her, the hybrid had convinced himself that the demigod couldn't possibly love him. He was always one to act arrogant, but with relationships, he got insecure.

He struggled with trust. Klaus struggled with love, in general. The idea of fully giving yourself to another person, letting your walls down to let someone see beneath the surface, scared him.

So, he pushed people away. He'd act out. Because, when you let someone into your heart, they have the power to rip it away. People can leave at any time. If he let those pent up feelings out in a fit of rage, at least he had control over the person leaving.

And when his insecurities started to eat him apart, and told him that they were going to abandon him, he'd believe the dark thoughts festering within him. So, before they could choose to walk out of his life, leaving him in the dust, with remnants of him scattered across the floor, he would self-destruct. He would make them leave, instead of facing the heartbreaking surprise of them doing it before he could expect it.

So, he tended to ruin the good things he had.

But, Klaus knew that she wasn't just something good. Percy was the best thing to ever happen to him. And, he couldn't bring himself to think about pushing her away.

He couldn't.

She made him feel complete. It was like a puzzle piece that hadn't clicked with anything before. Suddenly, she entered his life and he wasn't so broken. They fit together.

He didn't feel alone, when he was with her.

And if he was being honest, he couldn't bear the thought of not seeing her when he woke up in the morning.

Her smile kept him going. It helped him get out of bed each morning and fall asleep each night.

He needed to hear her soft breaths beside him and feel the warmth of her arms, holding him tight.

Everything within him wanted to make her feel the same way. The original wanted to give her the world. He wanted to give her all of the love in the universe.

He'd do anything to simply continue getting to be with her.

Klaus loved her laugh and smile. He would do anything to make her happy.

He realized in that moment, that he would always put her first. The hybrid had learned to look out for himself, but he'd put her needs before his own, without a second thought.

I love you too.

His eyes scanned over the stunning features of her face. Her eyes were closed, and her hair was a bit messy. There was a hint of dark circles under her eyes. Klaus thought she was the most beautiful person in the universe.

But, it wasn't because of her physical beauty. Even if she didn't have her looks, she'd still be the most gorgeous being on the planet.

She taught him how to love, how to feel loved. She helped block out the bad thoughts he couldn't stop thinking. Percy broke through his walls and the darkest parts on him.

"I love you too." The words broke through the weight on his chest. There wasn't the smallest bit of doubt when he said them. He meant them with complete sincerity.

Klaus realized after he said the words back, for what was now the second time, that she had fallen asleep.

He lightly kissed her forehead, before closing his eyes to let himself drift off to sleep as well. "Goodnight, love," he whispered softly, before allowing sleep to take over.

Klaus wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer.

The demigod was still asleep in his embrace. He kissed the top of her forehead.

She stirred in her sleep, and adjusted her position. "Hi, Nikkie," she mumbled sleepily.

"Good morning, love."

Percy opened her eyes to look up at him, a smile gracing her features. His thumb lightly drew figures on her arm. "How did you sleep, love?"

"I slept good. Although, I always sleep well when I'm next to you," she responded.

His face softened. Gently, his hand traced down her arm to her hand, which he lifted and pressed a soft kiss on her knuckles.

"I don't know if I can fall asleep without you laying beside me anymore," he commented.

Percy replied, "Me neither."

Kol and Percy sat at the kitchen table, making friendship bracelets. The demigod had brought several bags of beads that they could weave through the thin pieces of black fabric that would hold the beads.

A playlist of villain songs played from Percy's phone. Darth Vader's theme was currently playing.

Some of the beads had small letters printed on them, while others where simple different colored round shaped beads.

Rudy was laying on his dog bed in between them, chewing on a plastic bone.

"I don't believe I've made jewelry before," Kol commented. "It's kinda fun though."

"Isn't it?" Percy agreed, as she continued adding beads to the string.

Once the pair finished their bracelets, they were both impressed by their work. Kol's bracelet mostly consisted of red beads, with a few accent ones. Percy's bracelet was majorly blue beads, and it also had a few accent beads.

Both of their bracelets had letters that spelled out 'VILLAINS 4 EVER.'

"Iconic," The raven haired beauty commented.

Kol nodded in agreement, "Very. I have to admit, this bracelet makes me feel much more badass."

"Yeah, that's the point," she grinned.

The sea green eyed girl held out her fist. They did their custom handshake and ended it by both saying 'Villain Power.'

Percy looked over at him. "Okay, pop quiz. What quote did you learn today?" She had been teaching him Gen-Z phrases and Vines.

"I'm a bad bitch, you can't kill me," he responded.

The demigod grinned. "Good job."

"So what do we do now?" Kol questioned.

Hm.

The pair now stood beside the kitchen counter with two large glasses of blue Coke in front of them.

Rudy was standing beside Percy, being his adorable self.

Elijah and Rebekah were in the room as well.

"Why are we doing this?" Elijah asked, with slight skepticism of the situation.

Kol replied, "The better question is, why wouldn't we be doing this?"

Rebekah had a timer set up on her phone. "Alright, get ready, set, go!"

Percy and Kol each grabbed a glass of soda and started chugging it as fast as they could.

The sea green eyed girl had a lot of experience with drinking soda, but it seemed so did Kol. Ever since she had introduced him to blue Coke, he was pretty much always drinking it.

Percy realized she only had a few mouthfuls left, and strived to finish her soda, only to discover Kol set his empty glass on the table. There was a crazed look in his eyes, as he threw his fists into the air. "Yes!"

Rudy's tail wagged as he noticed the vampire's excitement.

"Dam it." Percy cursed.

The original grinned in British again. "I did proper good."

"Yeah, you did!" The demigod encouraged, as he held out her hand again for them to do another handshake.

After they made the sounds of an explosion at the end of the custom handshake, the pair tried to come up with what else to do that day.

Percy and Kol walked around Mystic Falls hiding plastic mini babies in random locations. The demigod had ordered them online a while ago, but never had a use for them. Well, until now.

The figurines were about half the size of a thumb and looked like babies. There was an assortment of colors, ranging from colors like purple and green, to regular skin tones.

They placed ones on tables and chairs at the Grill, along with windowsills and even people. They dropped mini babies into purses, pockets, or people's shoulders when they weren't looking.

After leaving the Grill, the duo left more mini babies on benches at the park, and other little areas, for people to discover later on. They even left some around the campus of the high school.

At some point they arrived outside of the Salvatore house.

"Mwahahaha," Percy attempted an evil laugh.

Within minutes, a bunch of mini babies were set up in a circle outside of the front door. It kind of looked like a summoning circle.

The daughter of the sea seemed to be deep in thought. "I feel like it's missing something."

"Hm. Like what?"

She shrugged, before her eyes widened as an idea hit her. "Wait, right here!" The demigod vapor traveled back to her house, before returning with a few pieces of chalk.

Percy kneeled down with one of the pieces of a chalk and wrote '666' in the center. She was going to draw a pentagram, but that seemed too harsh, so she settled for drawing '666' instead. Besides, it would still help with the creepiness factor, and of course, it was fun.

Now the mini babies were surrounding the number of the devil. Ah, yes. Perfect.

Later, Percy and Klaus were in the kitchen. She sat on top of the counter, swinging her legs back and forth.

She was eating blueberries from a bowl that was sitting in between them.

"Favorite fruit?" The demigod asked.

He replied, "Cherries or strawberries." The hybrid came up with a question of his own. "Favorite person?"

"You," the sea green eyed being answered with a small smile.

Klaus' lips immediately pulled into a devilish smirk.

"Did you ever decide on a favorite color? Red or green?" Percy questioned as she ate another blueberry.

He didn't even have to think about it. "Definitely green." His soft accent washed over her. "Especially if it's a bold, bright shade of green that exists in the eyes of the most amazing person I've ever met."

That's so cheesy.

"Wow," her nose scrunched up cutely, as she laughed. "Were you this smooth before you met me, or do I get special treatment?" She spoke in a teasing way.

Klaus smirked cockily, "Well, I have always been an outrageously impressive speaker, my love."

Percy threw her head back as she erupted into laugher. "I think your ego gets bigger each day," she commented with a smile not leaving her features.

"Mm. Well, I do have someone in my life who is always giving me compliments and treating me well." He responded as he took a handful of blueberries.

Percy's jaw dropped in mock offense. "So this is my fault?" She shook her head. "Dam."

He chuckled deeply, before leaning closer to kiss her on the cheek.

She looked back up at him as she tried to stop the wide smile from spreading on her face, but failed. The raven haired beauty rose an eyebrow. "Wait, what were we talking about again?"

"Our favorite things," he replied.

"Oh! I got one! Who is your favorite Percy?" Percy asked with a playful grin.

He pretended to think about it. "Hm, that might be a hard one."

She reached out and flicked his arm. "Meanie."

The original laughed. "Well, I guess, it would be you, my love," he answered with a teasing smile.

Despite the effort it took to get the answer, Percy grinned widely. "Heck yeah, I am."

The demigod and hybrid began walking back up the steps. Percy noticed there was something off about him. "Nik? What are you thinking 'bout?"

He looked up and replied in an unsure voice. "I, well, I'm not sure if you remember, but we had a conversation last night, and you said something before you fell asleep, and I wasn't sure if you-"

"The part where I said 'I love you?'" She questioned.

He looked into her eyes nervously, waiting for her to speak.

Percy took a step closer to him. "I love you, Klaus Mikaelson."

He felt emotions swirl within him. She loved him. The hybrid pressed his soft lips onto hers. She felt butterflies flutter within her.

"Again," he requested softly. His voice was barely a whisper. It was gentle, like a soft breeze in the afternoon sun.

"I love you," the sea green eyed girl repeated tenderly, a hint of a smile gracing her lips. He moved closer and their lips connected once again.

Klaus pulled away just slightly, so that he could look into her eyes. "I love you," he responded back.

Percy couldn't help but smile. "And I love you."

His lips pulled up as well. The hybrid gently pushed her against the wall. "And I love you." It seemed they were just repeating the same sentence over and over again. And they were still standing in the middle of the staircase.

The daughter of the sea laughed out, as she leaned in to peck his lips again.

The hybrid lightly kissed her lips, before peppering kisses across her face and jawline, causing her to laugh again. He looked at her with a playful smirk, "I'm gonna marry you one day." His tone was teasing, joking even, but there was also a hint of a promise.

Percy erupted into giggles, before leaning forward and staring into his dark blue eyes. "Not if I marry you first," she joked with a challenging look in her eye.

Klaus' lips twisted up again, "I don't think that's how that works, love."

"It could be," she retorted before pressing her lips back against his.

Percy pulled away from the kiss to look at him a cute playful grin. "If we get married, do you wanna take my last name? Jackson isn't that bad."

He looked at her in amusement. "You don't like gender roles much, do you?"

"Nope," she said with her grin widening.

The hybrid nodded. "That's fair." He pondered over her original question. "I'm not sure I could pull off the last name Jackson though."

"Dang." Percy commented, although she wasn't really bothered by it.

He chuckled and leaned in to kiss her cheek.

The demigod smiled at him playfully, as she asked in a joking voice, "So are we gonna have a normal wedding or are we gonna elope?"

Klaus was incredibly amused by the question. "Do you want to elope?" He raised an eyebrow, as the corners of his lips rose.

"Maybe," she grinned.

The original's dimples appeared, before he leaned in again to kiss her. When the kiss ended he softly repeated the same three little words once more, "I love you."

"I love you too," a grin painted across her lips.

And both of them meant it fully and completely.
