《SEA GREEN MEETS GOLD (N.M. & P.J.)》Chapter 45: Ice-cream

The next day, Hazel came to visit, after checking that it was okay with Percy. The demigod, of course, agreed immediately.

The appearance of the daughter of Hades, brought Annabeth, Hazel, and Percy to the Mikaelson mansion. Rudy, of course, was with them as well.

Annabeth looked at the sea green eyed girl. "Percy, when was the last time you trained?"

Good question.

The daughter of the sea tried to remember how long it has been since she had last trained. "Uh... I don't really know."

The blonde stood up. "Alright. Let's go. We're training."

"Right now?"

Annabeth nodded. "Yes."

Once the three demigods gathered weapons that Percy had stashed at her house, the raven haired beauty vapor traveled them back to the Mikaelsons'.

Their property had a lot of land, which gave them a lot of space. Rebekah, watched from a few feet away, in support of her girlfriend. Rudy sat beside the blonde original.

Annabeth started, "Alright. First, let's start with no weapons. It's gonna be Hazel and I against you."

Percy nodded. "Okay."

Hazel and Annabeth ran at Percy. The three demigods skillfully battled.

Each of them were immensely quick, and dodged each other's hits gracefully.

After hearing the commotion, the other originals came outside to watch. The grey eyed demigod managed to kick Percy's knee, when Percy got distracted by glancing at the hybrid. The next moment Annabeth judo flipped her on the ground.

The raven haired beauty couldn't help but laugh. "Just like old times, Wise Girl."

"You got distracted, Seaweed Brain." The blonde commented with a small smile.

Percy easily jumped back up. "Let's do it again."

"Okay, give me fifty push-ups without stopping." Annabeth directed.

The raven haired beauty got on the ground and started counting each push-up.

When she reached fifty, she pushed herself back to a standing position. "Easy."

Hazel raised an eyebrow slightly. "Then, do another fifty." She smiled.

Laughing a bit, Percy dropped to the grass and began doing push-ups again.

Once she finished, Percy stood back up.

The trio continued to do sit-ups and other exercises. After finding a sturdy branch on a tree, the sea green eyed girl also did sets of fifteen pull-ups.

Despite the demigod's lack of training within the recent months, she didn't feel exhausted after the different exercises.

Annabeth found a few cinder blocks near the side of the house. After the demigods carried them back over to where they were training, the raven haired beauty grinned.

The grey eyed demigod held the block up. Percy punched it. Hard.

The cinder block broke and the daughter of the sea cheered. "That's really fun."

"Ooo can I try?" Hazel asked with an excited smile.

Percy grinned and stepped away, so that Hazel could try. Annabeth held another cinder block up, and Hazel's fist went right through it, breaking it as well.

"Yay!" The sea green eyed girl cheered for her friend and raised her hand to high five Hazel. The child of Hades high fived her. "Woo!"

Annabeth grinned. "We should train more often."

"We should."

Percy wandered over to where the celestial bronze weapons were laid out. She glanced back at the Mikaelsons. With a playful smile, the demigod questioned, "Any of you wanna practice fighting?"

Kol seemed intrigued by the sight of sharp objects. "Depends. Are you going to chop my limbs off?"

Meh...Maybe.

Shrugging, Percy replied, "Probably not."

"Well, that's assuring." The original stood up and moved forward. A small smirk appeared on his face.

His eyes scanned over the different weapons. "It would be cool if you had light sabers."

The raven haired beauty had the original watch one of the Star Wars movies. She chuckled at his statement.

"Maybe, I'll get some for next time."

He grinned and picked up a sharp blade. Kol threw it straight up in the air, just to catch it when it fell back down.

Rebekah ate a handful of popcorn. "Great. Kol's playing with sharp objects."

"It's one of my favorite hobbies, dear sister." Kol spoke with a devilish grin as he examined the blade.

Hazel wandered over to Rebekah to get some popcorn. The female original responded to her sibling. "We know Kol. You're particularly fond of hammers and bats."

"Hammers and bats are fun!" Percy agreed.

Kol grinned. "You get me so well."

The demigod held out her hand. He chuckled as they did their custom handshake. They each made sounds for the hand explosion at the end.

With a mouth full of popcorn, Hazel commented, "Iconic."

Hazel, Percy, Annabeth, and Rebekah were seated in the living room of the Mikaelson house. Rudy was asleep on Percy's lap. Their conversation was interrupted, when the power suddenly went out.

Harsh winds blew by outside with tree branches jolting back and forth. The sound of the intense winds could be heard through the windows.

"What the bloody hell is going on?" Rebekah asked as she tried to look out the window. Annabeth turned the flashlight on from her phone.

Klaus, Elijah, and Kol entered the room as well. "That's what we would like to know, sister," Kol answered.

"Uh, weather? Duh." The sea green eyed girl commented.

You would think people who were around for a thousand years would be familiar with what a storm was.

Elijah looked out the windows too. "Perhaps, we should stay inside."

Perhaps.

Percy sat up excitedly. "We could play board games or something!" Her movement caused Rudy to wake up from his nap.

Hazel agreed. "Yeah!" She held her hand up for Percy to high five.

After high fiving Hazel, the sea green eyed girl vapor traveled to her house. Unfortunately, she couldn't find any board games, but she did find several decks of UNO cards.

When the demigod vapor traveled back to the room, the rest of the group was surrounding the coffee table in the room. Klaus held his arm out towards her. She moved forward to sit down beside him.

The raven haired beauty placed the UNO cards on the table. "We got UNO!"

Hazel and Kol cheered. Percy had already introduced the original to the game, so he was familiar with it.

Rebekah and Annabeth smiled a bit as the cards were dealed out.

After a few rounds of UNO, Percy got up from her seat. "I'm gonna get a snack. Anyone else want anything?"

Hazel raised her hand with a small smile. "Can you get me a water please?"

The raven haired beauty nodded in return and turned to go to the kitchen. Klaus stood up from his seat to go with her.

When they both entered the room, she glanced back at him with an amused smile. "You worried I'll get lost?"

He chuckled and shook his head. Moving closer to her, the hybrid wrapped his arms around her waist. "I haven't hugged you for several hours."

A soft smile spread across her lips. She wrapped her arms around him. "Better?"

Klaus nodded, and tucked his head into her neck.

He craved her touch. He liked being in her embrace.

The raven haired beauty didn't let go until he pulled away. Usually when he initiated the hug, she wouldn't pull away until he did.

It was something both of them did. They wanted to make sure that the other person was okay, even if it's just a small hug.

With his arms no longer holding her, she moved towards the freezer. She opened it and pouted after discovering the lack of ice-cream. "There's no more ice-cream," Percy informed him sadly.

The demigod closed the door to the freezer again and spun around. "I guess, I'll go get more." She began walking back out to the living room with the bottle of water she grabbed for Hazel.

Kol raised an eyebrow at her. "You want to go outside?"

The sea green eyed girl shrugged. "Ice-cream."

She said the word as though it answered any other possible questions, because to her it did.

Percy handed the bottle of water to Hazel.

Rudy had moved to lay down across Hazel's lap.

Cute traitor.

Annabeth set her cards down on the table. "We'll wait till you get back."

Percy shook her head. "Nah, you guys can continue."

She glanced at Hazel who had started playing tug-of-war with the puppy. Hazel looked up with a grin, "I can watch Rudy!"

The daughter of the sea smiled at her excitement. "Okay."

Klaus' fingers intertwined with hers. "Well, love, lead the way."

The demigod raised an eyebrow. "You're coming with?"

"Of course, love." He said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

She smiled and vapor traveled them to the outside of an ice-cream shop. Sadly, they discovered it was closed.

Dang.

Percy pouted, "That's so sad." She glanced back at the hybrid. "Do you think they closed because of the storm?"

He sent her a comforting smile. "Perhaps, love."

All of a sudden the harsh winds around them ceased. The raven haired beauty furrowed her eyebrows slightly in confusion. "This storm is weird. Do you think Bonnie is using her expression to do something with Silas again?"

"I hope not. If Bonnie lifts the veil to the other side, that would mean that all of my dead supernatural enemies will come back to haunt me."

Percy's sarcasm appeared. "How lovely."

Something in the distance caught her attention. There was a guy standing across the street, holding a cross bow.

That's probably not a good sign.

His clothes looked like he was from a different era, but Percy figured he was a model or something.

The guy crossed the street. He looked confused as to where he was.

Klaus turned to see what exactly Percy was staring at.

The guy was only about twenty five feet away from them now. The hybrid recognized the person as Alexander, Rebekah's past fling from nine hundred years ago who happened to be one of The Five. The hunter raised his crossbow at Klaus.

Without hesitation, he pulled the trigger. Percy swiftly moved in front of the original, before Klaus could speed at the hunter.

The hybrid then sped in front of her, shielding her with his body. His arms wrapped around her, as his back faced the hunter. Fifteen small stakes shot into his back at the same time.

The hybrid didn't even react to it. He was too concerned about Percy.

When the pair glanced back at where the hunter was standing, they discovered he was gone.

Huh.

Klaus turned back to her. "Are you alright, love?"

She looked at him like he was crazy. "There's a bunch of stakes in your back! And you're asking if I'm okay?"

"You shouldn't have jumped in front of me." He said in a scolding manner.

Her face scrunched up. "How could I not jump in front of you-"

"I have supernatural healing." The hybrid pointed out sternly.

Percy rolled her eyes and vapor traveled him back to the bathroom at her house.

Once they arrived, she frustratedly spoke, "So do I! Just a few drops of water, and I'm good as new." The demigod glanced at his back and winced slightly at the sight. "You idiot!"

"You jumped in front of me." The hybrid reminded her.

The sea green eyed girl replied, "I could handle a few stakes!"

"So can I!" He exclaimed. "And I don't need water."

The demigod's chest rose and fell deeply. She moved so that she could see his back.

Percy hated seeing him hurt.

Klaus spoke up, "I'm immortal, love, I'll be fine."

"That doesn't matter." She argued.

The original turned to look at her. Softly, he spoke, "I'm okay." He stared into her eyes. "I need you to pull the stakes out of my back, love."

His soothing voice and eyes calmed her down. She nodded. "Okay."

He turned his back to her. Percy brought her hand up towards one of the stakes. She pulled it out of him.

The demigod continued pulling the stakes out, each wound instantly healing.

When Percy pulled the final stake out of his back and dropped it in the trash bin, Klaus turned his body to face her again.

The sea green eyed girl washed her hands in the sink to get any of his blood off of them.

"Thank you, love." The words fell from his lips gently.

He wrapped his arms around her from behind. His head moved forward to look at the side of her face. "You okay?"

Percy leaned into his touch slightly and nodded. "You?"

"Yes." He pressed a soft kiss on her cheek.

She turned her head to look at him, without moving from their position. "If you try protecting me from protecting you again, I'll be the one shoving a stake into your back."

Klaus chuckled. He placed another kiss on her cheek. "Well, you may have to do that a lot then, love. I'll always protect you."

"Not if I protect you first." She retorted.

Klaus couldn't stop the smile from spreading on his face.

After telling the group about the return of beings from the other side, the pair found themselves in the demigod's kitchen.

Rudy was napping on a small mat in front of the sink. Occasionally, he let out soft snores.

The raven haired beauty snaked her arms around the back of the hybrid's neck. His arms encircled her waist. "You know, we still haven't traveled the world together yet."

A genuine smile painted across his lips. "You still want to travel with me?"

"Duh." Percy smiled in return. Her fingers gently ran through his curls.

She leaned in and pecked his lips gently.

@faebuzzard suggested Annabeth having Percy train

I'm on my way to prom right now. It's an outdoor venue, socially distanced, with masks of course, and i have no idea what it's going to be like. Kinda stressed.
