The original hybrid had translated the words on the hilt of the sword and gave them to Rebekah, including the discovery that there was only one dose of the cure.

Percy and Klaus waited to hear an update from the original.

The daughter of the sea was eating a pint of ice-cream. Rudy laid next to her.

Klaus' phone rang, causing him to answer it. He immediately put it on speaker phone to allow Percy to hear the conversation.

Rebekah's voice spoke, "I didn't get the cure."

The demigod made eye contact with the British guy seated next to her.

"What happened?" She asked softly.

The female original responded, "Katherine stole it."

I didn't know Katherine was looking for the cure.

"How did she find it before you?"

Rebekah sighed, "There was another vampire hunter there who was part of the Five. He shot me, leaving me dead temporarily, and stopped me from getting my hands on it. Katherine pretended to be Elena and pinched the cure before anyone could stop her." The original paused. "I should've killed the bloody doppelgänger ages ago."

"Well, sister," Klaus started, "It's a shame that a little vampire hunter was able to take you down. You would think being an original would allow you to protect yourself, from one simple hunter." He spoke in a mocking voice to his sibling, causing Percy to flick his shoulder.

The hybrid glanced at her and continued talking. "And I don't suppose you have any ideas on where Katherine might have gone, do you?"

"No, Nik." Rebekah said in frustration. "We don't know where she went. Or Silas for that matter."

Lovely.

The demigod pressed her lips in a straight line. "Do we at least know what he looks like?"

The original shook her head. "No, no one saw Silas' face."

Dang.

Percy moved closer to the phone.

"Bex?"

"Yes, Percy?"

The demigod assured her softly, "It'll be okay. We'll figure it out. Maybe, we can track down Katherine."

Rebekah took a a deep breath. "Okay." The original paused, "I'll see you when I get back. Bye, Percy."

"Bye, Bex."

After the call ended, Klaus set his phone down on the table.

He glanced at the demigod seated beside him. Her head rested on his shoulder.

Klaus kissed the top of her head gently.

The pair simply sat there, enjoying being close to each other.

The next day, Stefan invited Klaus and Percy over to the Salvatore boarding house to talk about Silas.

The demigod entered the house with the hybrid and Rudy.

They walked towards the living room of the resistance, where they found Stefan.

"Sup, Stefano. Why am I here?"

The Salvatore moved towards them. He sent her a small smile. "I wanted to apologize for any of my previous actions towards you. And I thought it might be a good thing for us to call a truce."

Percy raised an eyebrow with an amused smile. "A truce?"

Stefan looked between her and Klaus. "I think Silas is in Mystic Falls."

"And?" The raven haired beauty questioned as she crossed her arms.

The vampire added, "Caroline accidentally told me about what you are."

With perfect timing, Caroline walked into the room. "And I made him promise not to do anything in an attempt to hurt you." She sent the the demigod a smile. "Not that he could, since you're like really cool and strong."

The sea green eyed girl made a sound of amusement.

"Hm." Percy looked back at Stefan. "And what makes you think Silas is here?"

"Several hospitals were completely cleared out of blood bags." He explained.

The hybrid spoke up, "So some blood went missing from a few hospitals. What about Elena? Don't vampires with their humanity off tend to overindulge in human blood, or were you the exception?"

When the group had gone in search of the cure, Jeremy was killed, which caused Elena to be overwhelmed with grief. Damon, who she had a sire bond to, convinced the doe eyed girl to turn off her emotions.

Stefan had his hands on his hips. "It's not Elena."

How can he be sure about that?

Percy sat down on the couch, with Rudy following.

"Well, let's say for a moment that it was Silas," the curly haired original started. "I'm struggling to see how this affects me, or Persephone for that matter."

The hybrid moved to sit beside her on the sofa.

The Salvatore explained, "Look, Silas wants to die and be reunited with his one true love, but he's supernatural, so if he takes the cure and dies, he gets stuck on the other side."

"How Shakespearean." Klaus commented.

Stefan continued, "But if he destroys the other side all together, he can take the cure, die, and pass on. But in destroying it, every dead supernatural being will return to our side."

Does 'the other side' work differently than tartarus? The other side is only for supernatural beings, that don't fall into the mythological category.

Caroline added onto the Salvatore's statement. "That means every werewolf, every witch, every vampire." She looked at the original. "I wonder how many of those you personally killed. Care yet?"

"My interest is piqued." Klaus spoke. "How do we stop him?"

"Bonnie said that Silas needs to complete three massacres to do the spell. Before Professor Shane died, he orchestrated two of them. Now, he only needs one more massacre, so if he's here, that's what he's doing. We need to find him."

How fun.

The three beings and the puppy entered the office of Professor Shane.

"What are we even looking for?" Caroline asked.

Percy began looking around the room for anything interesting.

Stefan replied, "Well, if Shane really was working with Silas, chances are he was helping him plan his next move."

"Where? On his evil villain to-do list?" Caroline asked mockingly.

Percy's eyes widened in excitement. "Oh, I definitely need a villain's to-do list! That sounds so fun!"

Klaus smiled at her adoringly.

The Forbes girl looked at her in amusement and slight confusion. "Why would you need a villain to-do list?"

"So I can take over the world. Duh."

Caroline looked back and forth between Klaus and Percy. "Okay, you two make so much more sense now."

The raven haired beauty smiled to herself and began snooping through drawers in the room.

The demigod looked back up at the blonde vampire. "What does one put on a villain to-do list? Pranking your enemies?"

Caroline looked around the room. "In his case, it's steal blood, perform 3 massacres, and maybe, pick up dry-cleaning."

Ah the most notorious act...dry-cleaning.

Klaus disagreed, "Actually not to nit-pick, but we evil villains usually use minions to pick up our dry cleaning, and that sort of thing."

As the hybrid said the words, he lightly scratched the fur behind Rudy's ears.

He's such an adorable villain.

Caroline didn't seem to find the hybrid as adorable as Percy did. "Why is he necessary again?"

"Because he has dimples. Duh." The sea green eyed answered.

Klaus grinned at her, which showed the cute dimples on his cheeks. "Thank you, love."

She sent him a cute smile.

Stefan interrupted their moment. "Besides, we don't know what Silas can do, so if we do have to go head to head with him, an original hybrid who can't die, and a demigod might come in handy."

Meh.

"And Stefan and I work well together," Klaus added, "Or at least we did in the twenties."

The Salvatore replied, "Well, granted my emotions were off."

"And that's why you were more fun, just as Damon is probably relishing in Elena's emotionless company in New York." The hybrid responded.

Percy frowned slightly.

Elena and Damon got to be in New York.

Not fair.

Stefan assured him, "My brother knows what he's doing."

"Does he?" Klaus challenged his words. "Don't underestimate the allure of darkness, Stefan." His eyes landed on the demigod as he spoke. "Even the purest hearts are drawn to it."

Why did he look at me?

Continuing, Klaus said, "Still, I'm sure it will all be fine."

Caroline spoke up, "I think I found something." She walked forward with a file in her hand. The vampire repeated the words that were written on the page within the file. "Symbolic figures in the dark arts." She placed it down on the desk in the room. "Didn't Bonnie talk about expression triangles?"

Caroline pointed to a image on one of the pages. There was a drawing of a triangle with other small decals around it. "Here."

Stefan read aloud the passage on the page next to it. "In some schools of magic such as expression, human sacrifice can be used a focus for power. It's rumored that the addition of two supernatural sacrifices compounds the mystical energy, creating an expression triangle."

"What's the third?" Percy asked.

She wasn't able to read anything herself, with her dyslexia.

Caroline's hand covered her mouth in shock. "Oh no."

She looked up at the group around her. "Witches."

✦✦✦

Stefan left to look for Bonnie.

Klaus, Percy, and Caroline sketched out the locations of the two previous massacres on a map. They found two potential sights for the final one, since the locations of the massacres would be in a triangle.

When the Salvatore returned, the group looked up. Caroline questioned, "Did you find Bonnie?"

"No, but I talked to her dad. I think I found Silas."

Dun dun dun.

Klaus and Percy walked through the woods, trying to find the Bennet witch. Rudy walked beside them.

The group had split up, so Stefan and Caroline were searching the other potential location.

Percy couldn't simply vapor travel to a location that she had never been to. She had to know the place.

The hybrid held a map with one hand, and her hand in the other. As his eyes scanned over the map, the demigod questioned, "Do you even know how to read a map?"

"Yes. And you know who taught me? My friend Magellan."

Percy laughed.

Klaus stopped walking. "We're here."

The raven haired beauty noticed that the only thing surrounding them were more trees. "Maybe Magellan gave you fake information on maps."

The hybrid seemed offended. "I know how to read a map, love. But judging by the lack of witches, here is not the correct location."

Rudy barked at a tree.

Cutie.

Percy's eyebrows furrowed slightly and she pet the dog's head. She glanced at the original. "Do you think he senses a squirrel? Or did the tree offend him?"

Klaus shook his head with an amused smile. "Maybe both." He looked around the dark abyss of trees. "We should go to the other location. Find Bonnie."

She nodded.

The sea green eyed girl picked up Rudy, and Klaus sped them to the approximate location of the other potential massacre spot.

He could hear sounds in the distance. Using his vampire speed again, the hybrid brought them to the spot.

There was a clearing in the sea of trees. Eleven witches surrounded the outskirts of the clearing. In the center, Bonnie laid on the ground, making sounds of pain. Another witch was kneeled down next to her. Sticks of fire outlined the clearing, which added to the creepy ritual vibe.

Stefan spoke worriedly to the two beings. "They're linked. Bonnie's gonna kill them."

"Not if the witches kill her first." The hybrid commented.

Percy flicked his arm.

Caroline spoke, "We have to save her."

"How? The only way to stop the witches is to kill them, and then Silas gets what he wants."

The witch next to Bonnie began talking loudly. "Spirits, take her soul. Free her from the darkness." She held a sharp knife in her hand.

Bonnie began screaming in agony. Caroline immediately sped forward and used the knife the witch was holding, to stab her in the chest.

"No!" Klaus screamed out.

The witches surrounding Bonnie began falling to the ground. They died one by one in a line, almost like Dominoes.

Holy Schist.

Caroline watched in horror as the witches fell to the ground, all dead.

The fire from the torches died out as well, leaving the group in the dark.

The blonde vampire rushed towards her friend who was on the ground. "Bonnie!"

Percy moved forward as well.

Bonnie's eyes opened, revealing fully white eyes. "Triangle is complete." She spoke in a monotone voice.

That's kinda creepy.

Klaus and Percy finished burying the twelve bodies. They set the shovels down.

Rudy and Caroline had watched from the side. The blonde vampire was in shock.

Stefan had taken Bonnie back home for her to rest.

When Percy and Klaus stepped away from the newly made graves, Rudy rushed forward and kicked some dirt onto the graves as well. His hind legs moved in an attempt to help with the task at hand.

The hybrid spoke up. "There. 12 graves for 12 witches. Like it never happened." He unrolled his sleeves back down from his elbows. "Only, it did happen, and now Silas has everything he needs to open the gates to hell on earth."

Well, it won't be opening the gates to Tartarus.

So, the demigod didn't think it could be that bad. It would just be a few vampires, witches and werewolves.

Caroline glared at him. Percy stepped forward and pulled the vampire in for a hug. The demigod gave Klaus a pointed look, as though telling him not to be mean.

Caroline stared off into the distance. She struggled to accept that she was the reason that twelve witches were dead. "I just killed twelve people." She spoke softly, her face full of regret and pain.

The raven haired beauty held her tighter, which caused the blonde to do the same.

Rudy sat down in front of them and barked.

The two pulled away. Percy turned to the puppy and picked him up. She held Rudy out towards Caroline.

The blonde smiled a bit as she picked him up with her own arms. Rudy licked her face in an attempt to comfort her. Caroline laughed softly.

Her fingers ran through the puppy's fur. "Thank you, Rudy."

The Forbes girl kissed the top of his head. She handed the puppy back to Percy, and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. She sent a weak smile at the demigod. "I'm gonna go home."

"Do you want any company?" Percy offered.

The blonde shook her head. "No, it's okay. It might be good to have some time alone. Thanks though. I'll, uh, see you around."

The sea green eyed girl nodded. "Bye, Care." Percy picked up the dog's paw to wave goodbye.

Caroline did a small wave at Rudy, before speeding back home.

The daughter of the sea glanced back at the hybrid. She walked over to him with Rudy in her arms.

Percy sent him a smile as she gently picked up Rudy's paw to wave at him too.

Klaus smiled in return and took a step closer. He opened his mouth to say something, but the sound of a branch snapping caused both beings to turn their heads to the side.

Professor Shane stood there. He looked back and forth between the two. "Hi."

"Silas, I presume." Klaus inferred.

He nodded slightly.

Silas glanced back at the hybrid. "Where's the cure?"

Klaus replied, "Don't have it."

"But you know who does." The immortal concluded. "And the last thing you want is for that cure to be used on you, so you bring it to me, and it won't be. You get to live."

The hybrid wasn't frightened in the slightest. "Heh. Yeah. With all of my dead supernatural enemies, from the other side. You know, you don't scare me, Silas, or Shane, or whoever you are."

Silas nodded. "I think I know what does." Klaus saw him pull out a white oak stake.

Percy, however, saw right through his magic. "There's nothing there."

The demigod wasn't fooled by the mind games that Silas was playing.

The hybrid was confused by her words. "He has the white oak stake."

The raven haired beauty shook her head. "No, he doesn't."

Silas looked slightly surprised by her words. "I can't mess with your head," he realized.

The two thousand year old immortal was skilled at using telekinesis, creating illusions and other abilities.

"Are you a demigod too?" He questioned.

It was Percy's turn to be confused. "Too? You're a demigod?"

He nodded. "Son of Hecate."

The sea green eyed girl's jaw dropped slightly. "Daughter of Poseidon."

"Poseidon?" His eyebrows rose. "You're Greek?"

Percy smiled. "Yeah. I speak it too."

Silas was in slight awe. The corner of his mouth went up. "I was born in Ancient Greece."

She grinned. "That's so cool!" Percy pointed back and forth between herself and Silas. "We're like related or something."

The raven haired beauty set Rudy down on the ground and walked up to Silas.

Klaus cleared his throat. "Love-"

Percy held her hand up to Silas. He looked at her in confusion. "What does that mean?"

She explained what a high five was to him. The two demigods high fived.

Yay!

By this point, she might as well high five every immortal being on the planet.

The sea green eyed girl glanced back at Klaus with a smile. She gestured at Silas. "He's not that evil. He's Greek!"

The hybrid didn't seem completely assured by her words.

Silas smiled a bit.

Family reunion! Kind of.

➳➳❦➳➳

Dang, I have no idea what I'm doing.

Okay, so, @miaduratyyh suggested having Silas be a son of Hecate, which is a really cool idea.

And the lovely, @RandomDayDreams5000 suggested having Silas be in awe of Percy because she's Greek too.

Several people wanted some members of the scooby gang to know about Percy being a demigod such as @MK5145, @-DAZINAACKERMANN

And I haven't updated in several days. :(

Oh! And I might be changing some things within the plot again. -They won't be going to New Orleans just yet.

Dun dun dun.

okay i think that's it.

Thoughts or suggestions?

Oh, and an explanation for the other side. 'The other side' is only for supernatural creatures who don't fall into the mythological category. So, it's not Tartarus.
