Percy and Kol walked down the street, heading to Elena's house. It was late an night.
Rudy was walking beside them.
The demigod was on his phone, playing different songs for him. The duo were trying to find what type of music he liked.
She played many different genres, and attempted to get him into modern music.
"Selena Gomez isn't so bad." He commented.
Percy laughed.
Suddenly, the sea green eyed girl was struck with a brilliant idea. She grinned as she searched up 'villain playlist,' on youtube.
The daughter of the sea clicked on one of the videos.
Kol grinned after hearing the music. "This is the best one I've heard yet."
Percy proudly smiled and handed him back his phone.
Suddenly, he received a call. Answering it, Kol spoke, "Jeremy Gilbert. Nice to see I'm still on your speed dial, mate."
The raven haired beauty asked him to put the device on speaker phone. He did, and held the phone between them.
Kol spoke into the phone again, "Hey, you want to meet up at the batting cages in Denver?"
Elena's voice responded, "Actually, it's Elena Gilbert."
Kol's demeanor immediately changed to disappointment. "What a treat." He said in a monotone voice.
Percy looked over at him. "Her real name is Elizabeth."
The corner of Kol's mouth went up in amusement. "Got it."
Elena made a sound of annoyance, before replying, "I need to talk to you...in person. I want to call a truce, in the name of Silas."
Kol stopped walking. "You want to talk about Silas?"
"I'll meet you wherever you want. I'll come to you."
The pair had arrived at the Gilbert house. "How about I come to you?"
Percy started loudly playing Darth Vader's theme on her phone.
Kol smiled at her, as he continued speaking into the phone. "If you want a truce, open the door and invite me in."
When the door didn't automatically open, he spoke again. "I'm waiting. Let me in, and let's talk truce."
"Yeah, Élodie, open the door." Percy added.
Rudy barked in agreement.
Elena responded, "Wouldn't it be kind of stupid to invite you in?"
"On the contrary, I can't kill your brother with my own two hands or I'll suffer the hunter's curse and spend the next 20 years trying to off myself in gruesome ways. And I heard that vervain's back in town, so I can't compel you to kill him either. So, I think it's fair to say you're semi-safe, for now."
Jeremy whispered to his sister, "I'm the only one who can invite him inside."
"He's right. Obviously."
The sea green eyed girl lowered the volume to the music, and Elena opened the door.
Kol put his phone back in his pocket. "You'd think being alive for a thousand years would teach me some manners, but I couldn't resist stopping by."
Manners are boring.
The doppelgänger looked back and forth between the two. "If I let you in, my brother goes. You're not getting near him."
"Fair enough." Kol replied.
Elena glanced back in the direction of her brother. She nodded at him, causing Jeremy to say, "You can come in." The boy immediately left through the back door.
A devilish smirk appeared on Kol's face. "No gold medals for bravery I see." The vampire stepped into the house, with Percy and Rudy. He gestured to her phone, which was still quietly playing the tune to Darth Vader. "Another thing I love about the modern age is music anytime you like."

The demigod turned the music off. Kol looked at Elena. "So, this is the part where you offer us a drink, so we can have a proper chat."
The raven haired beauty snickered. "Proper chat." She turned to Kol. "You're so British."
He grinned in British.
Percy spotted a television and game console on the other side of the room. The demigod pointed at the area in excitement. "Video games!"
The sea green eyed girl wandered over to the couch and grabbed two controllers. She handed one out to the original with a smile. Rudy jumped onto the couch and laid in the middle of it.
Kol moved forward and took the controller. He looked at it in confusion. "What is it?"
Percy's eyes widened. "You poor soul! Don't worry, I'll teach you."
⇀⇀➳⇀⇀
The next twenty minutes entailed Percy and Kol playing Just Dance. Rudy watched as they did weird movements in front of the tv.
Elena entered the room holding a bottle of vodka. "Sorry, I have to take up the old-people alcohol."
"Alcohol is gross. Do you have any soda?" Percy questioned.
The original paused the game and looked back at Elena. "Can you get me soda too?"
The doppelgänger looked away in annoyance and went to the fridge to find soda.
Percy and Kol got up from the couch and wandered up to the kitchen island. Rudy decided to stay in his spot.
There was a bowl of water on the ground in front of him in case he got thirsty.
The original commented, "Now, people in New Orleans really knew how to make a drink."
The demigod glanced over at him. "You lived in New Orleans?"
Kol nodded. "We all did, till Niklaus shoved a dagger in my heart."
Yeah, I definitely have excellent taste in men.
"Why? What did you do?" Elena asked curiously.
The original was annoyed by the question. "What makes you think I did anything? Has your alliance with my brother softened you to his horrors?"
The doppelgänger got defensive. "I don't have an alliance with Klaus. We had a mutual interest in finding the cure. That's all."
Kol took notice of her use of the past tense. "Had?"
"Yes. I'm willing to give up looking for it if you promise to leave my brother alone."
Percy and Kol looked at her skeptically.
The brunette attempted to change the subject. She gestured back to the television. "You're really good at that game. Especially considering you've been locked in a coffin for a hundred years."
"I'm a quick learner. Speedy reflexes." Kol replied.
"Okay, Barry Allen." The demigod mumbled under her breath.
The original's eyebrows furrowed. "Who's Barry Allen?"
Percy patted his shoulder in comfort. "You have much to learn, young Padawan."
He became a bit more confused by her Star Wars reference. Kol turned his attention back to Elena. "So are we going to talk about Silas?"
Elena gestured to the couch that they were previously sitting on. The two beings sat down and waited for her to start talking.
"No one else seems to think Silas exists. So why do you?"
Kol responded, "I used to run with some witches in Africa in the 14th century, Haiti in the 17th century, New Orleans in the 1900's. They all knew about Silas and that he needed to stay buried. I actually hold witches in high esteem."
"Yeah, but why Silas? Why are you so afraid of him?" The doe eyed girl questioned.

"They said if Silas rises he'll unleash hell on earth. I happen to like Earth just the way it is."
The doppelgänger commented, "That's pretty biblical."
The original retorted, "That's another problem with people today. They've lost faith, and in that loss, they no longer know who they should fear."

Kol wandered over to a picture on the wall of Jeremy and Elena. "It just seems odd that you'd be so willing to give up something you want so much."
Good point.
"I would do anything for my brother." The brunette said in an attempt to convince him. "And if what you're saying about Silas is true, what does it matter what I want, if it puts everyone else in danger?"
Kol examined her face. "Well, this has been enlightening. Thanks for the drinks." He turned to demigod and motioned for them to leave.
The sea green eyed girl stood up. She turned to the dog beside her. "Come on, Rudy!"
The puppy happily jumped off the couch to follow her.
Percy walked out the door, with Kol following. The original paused and faced the doppelgänger. "I'll take your request for a truce under advisement."
Fancy words.
Elena spoke up again, "I-Is there any chance that you can be wrong about Silas?"
Is she stalling us?
"Trust me, Elena. Some things are better left buried." And with that last statement, Kol, Percy, and Rudy walked off.
The trio didn't go that far from the house though. The raven haired beauty looked over at the original. "Did you get the feeling that she was stalling us?"
Kol nodded and glanced back at the house. "I did."
They watched as Jeremy Gilbert walked back into the house.
The demigod turned to Kol. "Wanna go back and investigate?"
The original grinned in response, and they walked back to the front door.
Kol seemed to be listening in to a conversation. "They were trying to stall us."
Jeremy and Elena had been plotting to kill the original.
Percy pressed the doorbell.
When Elena opened the door, Kol spoke, "I've considered your request for truce. Request denied."
After hearing his words, the doppelgänger quickly shut the door.
"I'm sorry. I've already been invited in!" Kol shouted. He swiftly kicked the door open.
Percy grinned, and they fist bumped.
The trio reentered the house. Jeremy and Elena were no where to be found. "Hide and Seek? Fine by me."
They began walking around the house.
"Marco!" Percy shouted, in attempt of getting one of the Gilbert's to shout back, 'Polo'.
Sadly, no one responded.
The two wandered into the kitchen, Rudy remaining attached to Percy's side. The raven haired beauty opened the fridge and looked inside.
"You know," Kol smirked, "I don't believe they're hiding in the fridge."
She smiled in response. "You can never be too sure." The demigod grabbed a bowl of grapes. She removed it from the fridge and began plopping a few in her mouth. "Maybe, they're hiding in the bowl."
He chuckled.
Rudy sat on the ground and watched the daughter of the sea.
Suddenly, Elena sped at Kol with a sharp knife. She slammed him against the counter and stabbed it into his stomach.
Percy quickly set the grapes down and shoved Elena back.
Jeremy used a crossbow to shoot an arrow at Kol's leg. When the original bent down to tear it out, Jeremy rushed toward the sink. He shot water at Kol, and the original screamed out.
There's vervain in the water.
Percy immediately controlled the water to stay away from the original vampire.
Meanwhile, Elena swiftly grabbed the white oak stake from Kol's pocket. She tossed it to Jeremy.
Before the Gilbert could stake Kol, Percy vapor traveled in front of him protectively.
The demigod didn't think Jeremy could be that fast, so she didn't consider using blood bending.
Before Jeremy could slow down, the stake stabbed into Percy's chest, right below her heart.
She looked down in shock. Her eyes glowed a deep sea green.
Someone yelled from the front door of the house. "Percy!"
She immediately recognized the panicked voice as Klaus.
Percy looked up at Jeremy with a death stare, the piece of wood still impaled in her chest. He had stepped back in fear.
Kol had rushed forward. "Percy, are you okay?" He asked in concern.
The raven haired beauty brought her hand to her chest, and pulled the stake out. She didn't flinch once, her face remained cool as a cucumber.
"What did you do?" Klaus demanded furiously.
Elena looked back at him fearfully. "We-we didn't have a choice."
Percy narrowed her eyes at the doppelgänger, and stepped towards her threateningly. "You didn't have a choice?" She repeated the words in disbelief.
The puppy got up from his spot to move next to the demigod.
Elena took a step back and glanced at Percy's chest in shock.
The sea green eyed girl glanced down at her chest, and she had already healed.
Huh.
The doppelgänger defended their actions, "He was trying to cut off Jeremy's arm!"
"Lies." Klaus seethed. "You hurt Percy in the process. And Kol never would've gotten inside if you hadn't have set a trap for him."
The hybrid sighed in frustration. "Once Percy, Rudy, and Kol leave, I will burn this house to the ground, and then when you try to flee for your lives, I'll kill you both without blinking. That is of course, if they don't kill you first."
"You kill us, you'll never have the cure," Jeremy pointed out. "You'll never be able to make any more hybrids."
Klaus was beyond angry. "You really think I care for an instant about bloody hybrids? Especially after this little scheme? I want the cure so I can destroy it. I would've killed you all the second we dug it up, but now, I'm just gonna watch you burn instead."
Suddenly, he collapsed to the ground in agony.
Bonnie walked through the door, "Invite him in."
Percy looked at the hybrid in concern as he groaned out in pain. All the demigod could think about was protecting him.
A soft, faint glow surrounded his body, as the magic stopped hurting him. Klaus rose back up.
"Come in." Jeremy spoke.
What are they planning now?
Klaus entered the house, and Percy moved towards him. Kol tried to attack Jeremy, but Bonnie stopped him with her powers. Jeremy, Elena, and Bonnie all rushed out to the kitchen.
Percy, Klaus, and Kol, were now inside of the living room. When they tried to rush at the people in the kitchen, an invisible force field stopped them from moving.
What the heck?
The hybrid pounded against the invisible wall. When it didn't magically break, he glared at Bonnie. "Witch, you can't do this to me."
"You have no idea what I can do now." The Bennet witch replied.
Klaus was furious, "I will hunt all of you to your end!" Bonnie started walking towards the door with the two Gilbert siblings. "Do you hear me?" Klaus yelled. "Do you?"
"I think they hear you, brother." Kol commented as he looked around in annoyance.
Ha!
Before Elena could walk out the door, Rudy rushed over and bit her leg. It wasn't hard enough to cause any injury, but it still displayed his protective side. He was normally a very gentle dog, but he could tell these people upset both of his owners.
"Good boy!" The demigod grinned. The dog's tail wagged as he ran back to Percy.
So, others can enter, but they can't leave?
The raven haired beauty glanced at the hybrid with a playful smile. "He bit the doppelgänger. He really is your son."
Klaus smiled a bit and pet the dog.
Percy realized that her ADHD self was stuck in a room. "Well, this kinda sucks." She looked back in the direction of the kitchen longingly. "What about my grapes?"
Kol shook his head. "They are cruel, darling."
The hybrid approached the demigod. His hands gently held her arms, as if to assure himself that she was okay. He looked into her eyes with worry. "Are you alright, love?"
She smiled softly and nodded her head. "Yeah, are you okay?"
He nodded and pulled her in for a hug.
"Great, we're all okay. Can we focus on getting out of here?" Kol spoke up. A teasing smirk spread on his face. "Being all lovey-dovey isn't helping."
Without pulling away from the hybrid, Percy turned her head to Kol and stuck her tongue out at him.
She then proceeded to hold Klaus for a few more seconds.
When she pulled away, Percy walked up to the barrier of the room and held her arm out towards the kitchen. She pouted in disappointment, when she couldn't move past the edge of the room.
The kitchen was so close, yet so far.
Kol sat down on a chair. "I think we've established that moving our arms out doesn't magically allow us to leave."
"I know...but," the demigod sighed depressively, "food."
He nodded in understanding.
Percy was also concerned about Rudy. He had already been fed dinner, drank a lot of water, and went to the bathroom outside, but he would need things in the morning. If they were still trapped in the room by the morning, the daughter of the sea would try calling Caroline.

Percy and Rudy cuddled on the couch. Kol sat in a chair with his eyes closed.
The hybrid attempted to lay on the couch with them but there wasn't enough space.
The demigod noticed his predicament. She kissed the top of Rudy's head before getting off of the couch.
Percy picked up a comforter that was in the room and spread the blanket out on the ground.
She took some pillows from the couch and set them down too, which caused Rudy to jump off of the couch.
The raven haired beauty laid down on the blanket, with Rudy following suit. Glancing back up at the hybrid, she held her arms out toward him.
His demeanor softened and he moved to lay down beside her.
They laid facing each other on their sides. The puppy was laying between them again.
They drifted off to sleep.
When Percy awoke, she found that Rudy had left his spot to go claim his seat on the couch again. The hybrid was now on his back and staring at the ceiling.
The sound of the doorknob turning caused both originals to stand up and face the door. The demigod moved to a sitting position.
The door opened as Caroline walked in. She looked behind her, "Tyler, hurry up."
Klaus was ready to start making threats, but he was thrown off his rhythm when Caroline and Tyler walked in, each carrying a lot of bags. It looked like they brought a whole store with them.
While the blonde vampire was smiling, Tyler looked like he was forced to come here.
"Hi, Percy!" Caroline greeted.
The demigod smiled in return. "Hey, Care."
"I heard about you being trapped here and..."
The vampire gestured to the bags she was holding. "Okay, so I brought the essentials."
Essentials?
She set the bags that she was holding onto the ground.
Tyler scoffed. "I don't understand why we're helping them."
Caroline turned her head to look at him. "We're not helping them. We're helping Percy." She corrected with a serious expression. The vampire glanced back at the raven haired beauty and the dog who was a few feet away. "And Rudy," Caroline smiled happily.
She started taking things out of the bags to show Percy. "I got dog food, some dishes, and toys for Rudy. I brought a few water bottles." Caroline pushed an entire case of water past the barrier to the room.
Percy made a sound of amusement as she moved to the edge of the room. The blonde vampire continued to push more bags towards her. "We, of course, brought you a few snacks too. And those little kool-aid packets, in case you wanted flavored water."
She looked at the Lockwood. "Tyler, give me the bags."
Tyler looked incredibly annoyed, but handed her some bags anyway. The Forbes girl pushed more bags into the room.
"Did you bring Percy the rest of the store too?" Kol asked teasingly.
Caroline sent him an evil look, before turning her attention back to Percy. "I also brought some things for entertainment." She pulled out a beach ball, a deck of cards, and a rubix cube.
The sea green eyed girl laughed. "You brought a beach ball?"
The blonde shrugged with a smile. "I thought it might make things more summery and fun."
