Percy looked at the doorway of the room, deep in thought. "I'm gonna try something." She began walking out of the dining room.

The hybrid called out, "What are you doing, love?"

"You'll see." She turned back to send him a grin.

The raven haired beauty glanced at the puppy, who was watching her attentively. "Let's go, Rudy!"

The dog jumped up from his seat and dashed over to her.

Percy and Rudy left the room, and headed towards where Connor was located.

Once the demigod entered the room, she concentrated on manipulating the mist.

Suddenly, she saw the large tattoo that wrapped around the hunter's arm. "Huh."

Klaus appeared in the room too. "What is it, love?"

The raven haired beauty shrugged, "I can see the tattoo now."

The original's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"You can see the tattoo?" Connor asked curiously.

She nodded. "Yup."

The daughter of the sea didn't understand how it was a map. It just looked like a bunch of swirling lines.

The tattoo started at his hand and grew upwards to his shoulder.

The hunter shook his head, "I thought Brotherhood of the Five meant it was only for guys."

Well...I'm not a hunter.

Percy replied, "Women can do the same things men can."

Rudy licked her hand in agreement. After all, puppies can be feminists too.

"Well, I guess you're another potential." The hunter said.

Nope.

The green eyed girl glanced at the hybrid. She sent him an adorable smile. "Do you got any art tips?"

⇀⇀⇀⇀

Klaus and Percy had left the room with the hunter so the hybrid could ask her a bunch of questions.

"How can you see the tattoo?"

The sea green eyed girl replied with a smug grin. "Magic."

The blond narrowed his eyes at her. "Percy."

"Yer a wizard, Harry," the demigod responded.

Klaus looked away for a moment, before returning his gaze to her. "Love, I'm being serious."

"You're not Sirius, you're Nik."

He looked defeated. Percy laughed. "You're so dramatic. I'm just using one of my demigod tricks to see the tattoo."

The original's eyes stared into her own. "So, you're not one of those potential hunters?"

She shook her head. "Nah."

The hybrid looked relieved by her answer.

Percy and Jeremy were seated on chairs, sketching the tattoo on the hunter. Klaus had shown her how to properly hold the pencil when sketching and the basics of shading.

Rudy and Mrs. O'Leary were playing off to the side of the room. The demigod had missed the adorable hellhound, so she summoned her.

Mrs. O'Leary typically stayed at Camp Half Blood. A few of the campers there were entrusted to look after her.

The hellhound, however was very gentle with Rudy. She almost acted like a motherly figure.

The raven haired beauty continued sketching part of the tattoo for a few hours. She often got distracted, which made the task a bit more difficult.

Jeremy and Percy had divided sections of the tattoo among themselves, so they could get it done faster.

Connor spoke up, "I don't understand how you can see the tattoo if you're sympathizers."

"Maybe, we're just special." The raven haired beauty stuck her tongue out at the hunter.

Klaus wandered into the room. "Are you almost done, love?" He asked gently as he leaned over her shoulder.

The raven haired beauty nodded. She smiled at him and handed him the sketch. Their eyes locked for a moment.

Jeremy cleared his throat. "I'm done too."

The hybrid took the sketchbook from the Gilbert. He looked back and forth between the two images. "Where's the rest of it?"

"That's all of it." Percy shrugged.

Jeremy nodded. "He said every time he kills a vampire, it spreads."

"Hm." The hybrid replied. "That'll be all. Thank you, Jeremy." He called out one of his minions names. "Nate!"

Nate entered the room. Klaus pointed at Jeremy. "Take this one home."

The hybrid nodded and guided Jeremy out of the room.

Klaus and Percy made their way out of the doorway too, the two pets following. The doors to the room the hunter was in were closed once again.

The original turned his attention back to Percy. A devilish grin appeared on his face. He opened his mouth to say something, but an adorable ball of fur jumped on his legs. Rudy stood on his hind legs and looked at him happily.

The hybrid huffed dramatically. Despite his demeanor, he bent over slightly to pet the dog's head.

Klaus looked back up at the demigod to see the biggest smile on her face.

"Not a word, love." He stared into her sea green eyes.

She couldn't help but laugh. Klaus' eyes narrowed slightly.

"You didn't say anything about laughing." She pointed out with sly smile.

The hybrid pursed his lips. She loosely wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek.

Stepping back, Percy smoothly grabbed his hand and led him back to the dining room.

Klaus felt a warm feeling grow in his chest. A quiet contentment spread through him.

The pair entered the dining room.

Stefan had left the house, but Rebekah remained seated at the table.

When she spotted the figure that looked like a huge mastiff, her eyes widened. "What the bloody hell is that?"

Percy glanced behind her, and saw Mrs. O'Leary. "That's Mrs. O'Leary. She's very friendly."

The hybrid chuckled. He had already been introduced to the hellhound, who was as big as a tank. Mrs. O'Leary wasn't usually a house pet, but the Mikaelson mansion was large enough to accommodate her.

Rebekah stood up from her seat and approached the hellhound. "She's beautiful."

The raven haired beauty nodded and ran her fingers through Mrs. O'Leary's fur. The hellhound gently nudged her head against the demigod's hand.

Rudy began running circles around the hellhound. He jumped and sped around her quickly, bursting with energy. Mrs. O'Leary calmly watched him tire himself out.

After a while, Mrs. O'Leary laid down on the ground to take a nap. When the puppy saw what she was doing, he immediately followed suit. Rudy cuddled up beside her and the pair started to doze off.

Cuties.

After her nap, Mrs. O'Leary went back to Camp Half-Blood.

Rebekah told them that she buried the sword with Alexander at San Vittore in Brienno, Italy. The sword was the key to using the hunter's mark in order to find the cure.

"So, does that mean we're going on an adventure?" The demigod asked with a grin.

The corners of Klaus' lips went up at her excitement. "Yes, love."

"Yay!" Percy cheered. She looked at the puppy on her lap. "Can Rudy go to Italy too?"

The hybrid nodded.

Rebekah smiled a bit at the demigod, before looking back at her brother. "What are we supposed to do about the hunter? Are we leaving him behind?"

Klaus shook his head. "No, Rebekah. You can stay here in Mystic Falls and babysit with some of my hybrids."

The raven haired beauty's eyes snapped back and forth between the two in amusement as she watched them start to bicker.

The female original glared at her sibling. "I'm not a babysitter, Nik."

He grinned at her tauntingly. "Oh, of course you are, dear sister." It was obvious his words were getting under her skin.

Rebekah stood up from her seat and threw a pillow at him, which he easily caught. "Go have fun in Italy, you narcissistic twat."

Percy laughed.

Narcissistic twat. I should use that line sometime.

The blonde left the room in frustration.

The raven haired beauty looked back over at the hybrid, only to see that his eyes were already on her. She held out her fist.

He chuckled and playfully rolled his eyes, before bumping her fist with his own.

We're going to Italy.

➳➳➳➳

Percy and Nik sat on a plane to Brienno, Italy. Some of his hybrids were in another part of the plane.

I hope Zeus doesn't knock me out of the sky.

Since Rebekah seemed like she needed something to cheer her up, Rudy was staying with her while they were gone.

"Nik?"

The hybrid glanced over at her. "Yes, love?"

"Can I ask you some important questions?" She asked.

He hesitated, before nodding in response.

"Is cereal soup?" The demigod asked him curiously.

Klaus was mildly disturbed by the question. His eyebrows furrowed when he was deep in thought. "I... don't believe so."

The sea green eyed girl nodded. "Okay, but are hotdogs sandwiches?"

The original opened his mouth and closed it again. "Why do these questions feel illegal, love?" He turned his head to look at her.

Percy laughed. "I don't know."

"It doesn't fully sit right with me, but I guess it's a sandwich."

The daughter of Poseidon smiled in amusement. "Hm." She felt like she was learning a lot about him as a person.

Klaus raised an eyebrow at her. "Do you disagree, love?"

"Nah, I think hotdogs are sandwiches, but I do feel like cereal is soup."

The hybrid shook his head. "Why?"

"Food sits in liquid. Eat with spoon." The demigod explained wisely with her remarkable and distinguished vocabulary.

The blond's dimples appeared. "Thank you, love. That was a very helpful explanation."

She grinned. "You're welcome."

⇠⇠⇠⇠⇠

The sea green eyed girl had fallen asleep, her head resting on the hybrid's shoulder.

She awoke to Klaus lightly shaking her. "We're here, love."

Percy responded with something that sounded like gibberish.

"What was that?" He questioned.

She shrugged, not knowing what she had said either.

The raven haired beauty moved her head off of his shoulder and rubbed her eyes.

Slowly, the demigod turned to the original. "What are we doing again?"

"We're in Italy, looking for the sword, love."

"Oh! Ok, let's go." Percy stood up and narrowly avoided hitting her head against the luggage compartments.

Klaus stood up and held his hand out to her. The sea green eyed eyed girl intertwined their fingers, as they made their way off the plane.

"Nikkie, can we get something to eat?" The demigod questioned.

The original nodded. He led them through the crowd and pulled his phone out of his pocket. Klaus called one of his hybrids and instructed them to head toward the church and begin digging.

The blue eyed original glanced back at Percy. "What would you like to eat, love?"

Without hesitation, she replied, "Pizza."

⇀⇀⇀

They sat down at a table at a restaurant. It was later in the day, so it was a bit easier to find one that was open. Most of the restaurants they passed were closed until seven pm.

A waiter approached the table. "Americano?"

Percy nodded with a smile.

"Me too." The guy replied. His eyes stayed on the demigod for a bit longer than necessary. He was entranced by her beauty.

"Would you like still water or sparkling?"

The daughter of the sea replied, "Still, please."

He nodded, and continued to not spare a glance at the hybrid sitting across from her. "I'll be back with your water." The waiter said with a charming smile, before walking away.

The sea green eyed girl was pretty oblivious to anything going on around her. She glanced back at the hybrid to see him glaring at the table. His jaw was tightened, and she thought the table might explode from his hardened expression.

"Nikkie?" The demigod piped up. "Why are you looking at the table like that?"

Klaus was trying his hardest not to murder the waiter. He looked up at the raven haired beauty in front of him, and his demeanor immediately softened. She had a huge effect on him without even trying. The original shook his head. "Nothing, love."

The waiter returned with two glasses of water. When he set one down in front of Percy, he spoke, "Here's your water, Beautiful."

I guess, service here is pretty nice. They call people 'Beautiful.'

Klaus' eyes narrowed dangerously again.

The waiter's eyes scanned over her features. "Can I get you anything else?"

"Pizza." She responded with a grin.

He smiled in return. He gestured between her and the hybrid. "For the both of you?"

She simply nodded.

When the waiter left again, the raven haired beauty sipped her water. She glanced at Klaus curiously, "Did you know they just call customers 'Beautiful'?"

The hybrid shook his head. "I don't believe they simply call everyone beautiful, love."

Percy was confused.

The original continued, "It seems like he's interested in you." He commented in a way that sounded slightly bitter.

What? Why would he think that?

The waiter came back to the table. He placed a small piece of paper on the table with a number scribbled down on it. He sent her a flirtatious smile, "Call me sometime."

Percy's eyes widened slightly.

Klaus glared daggers at the waiter from across the table. The sea green eyed girl noticed his behavior, and a brilliant idea struck her. A small mischievous smile spread on her face. She quickly hid it and turned back to the waiter with a blank stare. "Thanks for the offer, but I'm afraid my fiancé and I are quite busy."

During the conversation, she had moved a silver ring that she was wearing to her ring finger, without the waiter noticing.

The waiter's eyes widened as he looked back and forth between Klaus and Percy. "Fiancé?"

The demigod held back her laughter and kept her face impassive. "Yes."

His mouth opened, only for him to close it again. "I'm sorry, Miss." The waiter glanced back at the hybrid and added, "And Sir."

She sent him a small smile and handed the piece of paper back to him. He quickly took it and walked off. Once he left, Percy erupted into laughter.

A small smile appeared on Klaus' face.

The demigod got up from her seat and moved it so that she was sitting next to the original.

With a devilish smirk, Klaus asked, "Fiancé?"

She nodded with a proud grin. "Yes. Of course, my love."

The hybrid felt something stir within him at the name. Percy glanced back in the direction the waiter walked off to. She returned her gaze to Klaus. "Did you see his face?" The sea green eyed girl asked with a devious smile.

Klaus nodded, and his dimples appeared. He looked at her adoringly.

A waitress approached the table. "Hello! I'll be your new server." She placed the pizza down on the table. "Enjoy your meal."

"Thank you." The demigod had the urge to laugh out loudly again. When the waitress walked away, Percy turned to the hybrid in excitement. She smiled widely, "We scared him off."

Klaus chuckled at her words. He looked at the food in front of them. "You know, love, we should probably show how in love we are, to keep up the pretense of this engagement."

The raven haired beauty smiled. "And how do you suppose we do that?"

The hybrid shrugged, and picked up a piece of pizza. He moved closer to her and held it up to her mouth.

She laughed. "Really?"

He simply smirked at her devilishly.

➳❦➳

Percy and Klaus had spent their time being touchy, laughing, and feeding each other pizza. Of course, it was only for the act of being engaged to one and other. It wasn't as though there was some other reason. No, of course not.

After paying for the meal, the pair left the restaurant. They began walking around the streets of Italy. Both of them forgot about any of their worries. Thoughts of the hunter, sword, or cure disappeared. All that existed was the two of them.

It had started raining. Drops of water fell from the sky at a quickly accelerating pace.

Klaus spotted an awning that could shield them from the rain. However, the raven haired beauty, pulled him closer to her.

"Nik?"

The hybrid replied, "Yes, love?"

She moved closer to him. Their faces were almost touching.

Rain fell down their bodies, soaking their clothes.

Percy looked into his gorgeous blue eyes. She felt the need to pull him closer and do...something. The demigod got lost in his eyes.

He has really nice eyes. And smile. And voice. And laugh. And...everything.

The demigod felt as though she was exactly where she needed to be. Being in his arms just kind of felt like home.

It wasn't a place, it was a feeling of belonging. It just felt right. She didn't know how to describe it into words.

But, sometimes words aren't necessary.

She leaned in even closer and their lips met. His arm automatically pulled her in closer, feeling this craving for more.

Their lips pressed together, and moved against each other. It was somehow soft and rough, slow and fast and everything in between.

The rainfall made the moment even more intimate, in a way. It was like every nerve in their bodies could feel the kiss. It was an explosion of something incredible.

Oh my gods, I'm in the Notebook.

Her fingers went through his hair and pulled him even closer. Their lips continued brushing against each other, until air became a necessity.

Percy looked into his blue eyes breathlessly. "I've actually wanted to do that for a while now." She said softly.

Klaus stared back into her sea green ones, "So have I."

Her lips pressed into his again after hearing his response. They both smiled into the kiss.

Neither of the two could contain their joy.

Wow.

Percy felt like her feet barely touched the ground.

We kissed.

Her smile grew at the thought.

//

Danggggggg.

They finally kissed.

Holy Schist.

You're welcome, my loves.

@RainbowGoddess12 suggested having them kiss in the rain &

@Moon_Cam suggested having Percy reference the notebook during the kiss, because of that one scene of the film that happened in the rain
