July 25th.

"Happy birthday Ophelia!" Hermione hollered as she ran down the stairs into the living room where Ophelia and their parents were sitting.

It was finally Ophelias 14th birthday. She was 10 months younger than Hermione, so they were born in different years.

"Thanks mione." Ophelia giggled, unwrapping a small gift.

She had received a sweatshirt from Mrs.Weasley, another cardigan from ron(it was his signature gift for Ophelia), new soccer equipment from their parents, and a new quill and school books from Hermione. Not only that but she also got Ophelia a golden ring with little gems on it.

Ophelia bit her lip slowly looking down at the wrapping paper. She was genuinely really happy with her gifts, but she felt a little upset when Harry didn't send her anything.

"Nothing from Harry?" Hermione asked, pouring herself a tea. She had a smirk on her face.

Ophelia shook her head but then smiled once more. She thanked her parents and sister sincerely and wrote out thank you letters to the Weasleys aswell.

"Your huge game starts in an hour." Ophelias mother reminded her. "Your stuff is in the car but you've got to get dressed."

"Thanks mom!" Ophelia replied, rushing upstairs to her room.

She slipped on her sports short shorts and equipment. She threw her hair into a high ponytail and tied it tightly before rushing back down the stairs.

"Ready to go?" Hermione asked, still smirking.

"Why are you smirking?" Ophelia asked.

"Smirking?" Hermione asked before grinning and walking out the front door to the car.

Weird.

Once at the soccer field, Ophelia warmed up with her team. Hermione sat on the warm grass and ate an orange slice as she laid back in the sun. She was wearing the most beautiful white crop top with a low cut center along with short jean shorts.

10 minutes before the game, Ophelia walked over to Hermione and shot water into her mouth from her bottle.

"I like the fit today Mione." Ophelia complimented.

She was already hot from practice. The summer was quite hot and the only thing keeping her cool was the breeze.

"Thanks." Hermione responded, sitting up and lifting her white sunglasses onto her head.

"I like the fit too." Came a voice from behind Ophelia.

Hermione grinned as Ophelia turned around to see the Weasleys standing behind her. They had come all this was just to watch her game?

"Bloody hell!" Ophelia exclaimed, hugging Mrs. Weasley and Ginny.

"Oh yeah we kidnapped somebody aswell." Ron teased, stepping to the side.

There he was. Harry Potter. How was he even here? The likeliness of him getting away from the Dursley's is way too rare.

"Hey Gra-" Harry began. He was winded by Ophelia crashing into him and wrapping her arms around him. He chuckled in surprise and hugged back, rocking from side to side.

"How are you here?" Ophelia questioned, staring up at Harry.

"Wouldn't be here if it weren't for Hermione and Ron. They planned the whole thing." Harry explained.

Ophelia looked back at Hermione in disbelief and smiled widely. This is exactly what she wanted for her birthday.

Harry put his hand out and handed Ophelia a small, wrapped box. As Ophelia unwrapped it, she saw a beautiful golden necklace with a small golden bottle engraved in it at the bottom. It looked just like the one on her firebolt.

"Harry it's beautiful." Ophelia said, smiling. "Do you mind-"

Harry nodded and took the necklace, unclamping it as Ophelia turned around. He clasped it around her neck. Ophelia could basically hear Hermione grinning in awe as Harry turned her back around.

Ophelia tucked the necklace into her shirt and smiled.

"Thank you Harry." Ophelia said.

She jumped when the whistle blew and her coach called for her. Ophelia turned and smiled at Harry before kissing his cheek and running out to the field. Harry was blushing like crazy.

"There's no way she doesn't like you back Harry." Ron snickered and grinned at Harry.

Hermione bit her lip to stop herself from grinning as Harry and Ron sat down next to her on the grass. She knew Ophelia liked Harry, but she wasn't going to be the one to tell him.

Ophelia managed to score 4 goals within the game. Just having Harry there watch her, and cheering for her gave her so much more motivation.

She even saw some of the girls on the other team staring at Harry and give her dirty looks whenever he would cheer for her. One even slide tackled her.

When they won the game, Ophelia jogged over to the others with a smile stretched across her face.

"You're bloody amazing at that Ophelia." Ron exclaimed, standing up quickly.

"That's my sister." Hermione teased. "Always impressive you know."

Ophelia giggled as she shot water from her water bottle into her mouth; she glanced over at Harry and smiled. He was blushing once again. Ophelia found it adorable.

"That was a brilliant game Ophelia." Harry complimented as he walked over. "You were quite amazing you know?"

"Thanks." Ophelia replied, still drinking her water. "It's because you were here."

Harry smiled widely as Ophelia pulled the necklace out from underneath her shirt. The gold really brought out the colour in her light brown eyes.

A group of girls from the other team walked over to the two over them. One was clearly all over Harry within seconds.

"Hey Ophelia." The girl began, changing her gaze to Harry instantly. "What's your name?"

Harry's eyes widened as he stared down at the girl. Ophelias blood was boiling already. This was the girl who always purposely attempted to injure her. She was their captain and Ophelia was the captain for her team.

"Er.." Harry stuttered, looking over to Ophelia.

Ophelia scoffed when the girl placed her hand on Harry's arm. She was getting quite annoyed and jealous.

"His name?" Ophelia snarled.

"Yeah what's his name?" The girl snarled back at her.

"You mean my boyfriends name?" Ophelia snarled back. She had let her jealousy get the best of her.

Harry's eyes widened as he blushed and looked to Ophelia. The girl really kept going after that.

"Well." The girl began in a snarl. "Your boyfriend is quite fine."

Harry stood awkwardly as Hermione and Ron walked over. They could see Ophelias blood was boiling and Hermione knew from the second she saw the girls standing in front of them what was going on.

"Meredith what do you want." Hermione groaned, gripping Ophelia and Harry's wrist.

Meredith. That was her name. Ophelia couldn't even remember, that's how irrelevant she was to her.

"Oh nothing." Meredith chimed. The girls around her giggled. "Just know I'm single if you get bored of her."

Meredith and her team walked away shrieking with laughter. Ophelia was pissed off, but relaxed when Hermione pulled her and Harry back to the blanket on the grass.

"Boyfriend huh?" Harry whispered, grinning widely.

Ophelia scoffed and pushed him away in a joking way. She couldn't cover up the fact that she was jealous but she just hoped that Harry was oblivious enough to not notice.

"Okay but boyfriend?" Hermione whispered to Ophelia through her giggles. "Soon to be you mean."

Ophelia groaned and leaned back on the blanket. This was the best birthday she had had in awhile. She wasn't sure how Hermione and Ron pulled it off, but she appreciated it.

"So where are you staying till school starts?" Ophelia asked, knowing Harry would not be allowed to go back to the Dursley's.

"Staying with me until we pick you two up for the World Cup!" Ron interrupted, sitting up with a grin.

Hermione and Ophelias eyes shot to Ron instantly. Ophelia rolled onto her stomach next to Harry and stared up at Ron.

"You're joking?" Ophelia said. Ron shook his head.

"You got us tickets!" Hermione exclaimed.

"Dad managed to get us enough tickets." Ron replied grinning. "You two are free I assume?"

Hermione and Ophelia both nodded. Of course, Ophelia was a little more excited than Hermione.

Ophelia laid her head down on the blanket as the hot sun glared onto her skin. She had already taken off her jersey so she was just in a tank top and short shorts now. It was only less than a month into summer and Ophelia already had a beautiful tan.

Ophelia played with the golden necklace that was around her neck as Ron and Hermione talked about the World Cup. Both her and Harry were just smiling and listening. Ophelia was still exhausted from her game though.

Ophelia rolled to her side and glanced up at Harry. Her golden freckles gleamed in the sunlight and her hair was messy since she had just taken it down from a pony tail. All of these little features seemed extra gorgeous to Harry as he glanced down at her. Even when their eyes met, butterflies filled both their stomachs.

"Happy birthday Ophelia." Harry whispered, keeping his eye contact.

"Thank you." Ophelia replied softly.

The two locked eyes for a moment. Through all the struggles Ophelia faced, she felt genuinely happy with Harry.

Even through the stress of school and stress of feeling as if she wasn't enough for Harry, she kept going. All for Harry Potter.
