because he had gone and broken his bones. The female knocked gently on the door of the large infirmary, but it sounded like it was too quiet for anyone to have heard. She decided to open the door a bit to see if Recovery Girl was there.
"-I understand that you're not used to One for All yet. It makes sense, because I just passed this quirk onto you. As you keep training, you'll be able to control this quirk. Soon, your bones won't break." A man's voice echoed from the other side of the room.
Now, [Name] could have just walked away and minded her own business, but there were two similarities between her nose and ass: they were big, and she liked to stick it where it didn't belong.
Besides, she had been wondering for a while how Izuku had all of a sudden developed his quirk. High school was definitely too late for someone to mysteriously manifest their quirk.
As she hid behind another bed, [Name] gasped quietly to see All Might standing next to Izuku in his manly, muscular glory. Kirishima would have cried tears of manliness joy.
But there was something wrong.. He looked almost... Tired.
Suddenly, without warning, smoke started emitting from the Hero's body. [Name] would have made a fart joke or something, but she was too concerned and worried to do so. Immense amounts of smoke were shielding her vision, until it all evaporated away and all that was left was a skinny, blonde man.
"Mrs. [Name]!" A stern voice called out. Recovery Girl stood behind the (h/c) haired female, hands on her hips. [Name] cursed in her brain as she discovered that her cover had been blown. She stood up slowly and calmly, red faced.
"[Name]?" Midoriya called out, confused. Then, he slightly panicked and glanced between All Might's weak form and his best friend.
"Ah, young [Name]! This is quite embarrassing... But it's okay! I trust that you'll keep this a secret?" All Might asked. She nodded quickly, then walked to Izuku's side.

"Yes sir!"
"Izu, are you alright?" She asked quickly, holding his hand and examining it.
"Yeah, all thanks to Recovery Girl!" he smiled and blushed a bit at the closeness and the touching, although he would be lying if he said he didn't like it.
"Oh, thank goodness! So... You have All Might's quirk?" She asked. Izuku nodded, and proceeded to explain. Finally, everything made sense. [Name] looked into his bright, green eyes, and he widened them slightly before relaxing and gazing back into her (e/c) ones. He felt... Strangely calm when he looked at [Name]'s eyes.
Izuku's eyes trailed down to her collarbone, to the exposed scar mark running along it. It was quite big, but he forgot it was there most times because she tended to wear hoodies and sweatshirts that covered that area.
Seeing it made him... Angry. How Kacchan hurt her like that and he wasn't able to stop it. The memories of his childhood brought up another question.
"Hey [Name]... I've always wondered something."
"Ne, what is it?"
"I know you didn't really care about being a hero. When I asked you to be one for me... That was when I was quirkless. Now that I have a quirk, why are you still trying to be a hero?" Izuku asked. "Did you change your mind?"
[Name] laughed softly and intertwined her fingers in his, which caused his heart to beat faster.
"I want to be able to protect the people I love, Izu."
Izuku could do nothing more than nod and blush furiously.
Recovery girl walked to the side of Izuku's bed and examined his arm.
"You're free to go! And stop being so reckless, child!" She scolded, as Izuku sweatdropped.
The pair walked back to class together, and [Name] felt as if she knew a bit more about Izuku, which she liked. However, he knew almost nothing about her life before he met her. Whenever he asked how life was like where she were from, she just become pale and tense and tried to change the subject.

[Name] never talked about her family, and even though she tried to be subtle about it, she would always choose to hang out outside her home. When she invited Izuku over, she would just explain that her father was at work, so he had never actually seen her family before.
Before long, the two had reached the cafeteria, and were starving.
"Hey guys!" Kaminari and Kirishima called from a lunch table on the right side of the cafeteria. Ochako, Iida, Bakugo, and Todoroki also sitting nearby.
"Hey!" [Name] grinned and sat down, starting to talk to them. Midoriya looked at [Name] for a couple seconds, taking in her features. Her excited, off guard expressions, her happy and sparkling eyes... His heart ached at the thought that they could have been dull and sad at a certain point in her past.
"This rice... It's so good!" Ochako mumbled as she shoveled the food into her mouth.
"I'm so glad that the expelling thing was a threat!" [Name] said happily, shoveling rice into her mouth as well.
"Yeah, If it wasn't I wouldn't be here," Izuku sweatdropped at the two females devouring food at an alarming pace.
"So where are ya guys from?" Kirishima suddenly asked, causing [Name] to tense a bit and pale. Nobody noticed except for Izuku, who had learned to read [Name]'s body language quite well.
"I'm from Tokyo. My family is made of heroes, and I especially admire my brother." As Iida kept talking about his brother, Midoriya smiled at how much he praised him.
"I'm from Kyoto actually! We moved to Tokyo while I was in 3rd grade!" Ochako explained.
"Oh, that's cool! I've always wanted to go to Kyoto!" Kirishima said.
"Hey, Todoroki! You're Pro Hero Endeavor's son, right?" Kaminari asked.
Todoroki's eye twitched a little.
"Yes, but he can go jump off a cliff."
"Damn."
Everyone was talking about their families and homes, which caused [Name] to get a little pressured.
"I'm not from Japan." She quickly burst out.
"Oohhh, so a foreign girl!" Kirishima grinned. "Where are ya from?"
Midoriya perked up. He didn't know why she was suddenly okay with sharing, but he wasn't complaining because he wanted to know.
"I was born on an island near Asia." [Name] said, but her facial expressions were off. Instead of looking warm or nostalgic, her face looked slightly cold and painful.
"Hey [Name]? You know, if you don't want to talk about it, you don't have to?" Kirishima said, eyebrows raised in concern.
"N-No, it's fine. You guys should know. Quirks were illegal there, so that's why I yote out of there real fast," She giggled a little.
"Wow, that must have been tough! Trying to hide your quirk and all as a child.." Kirishima said, then gently put a comforting hand on her shoulder. All at once, his warmth was able to snap her out of her hidden but painful memories.
"Well, whatever you went through, we're glad you're here."
"Wait [Name] did you just use yeet in the past tense?"
_______
[Name] walked home with Izuku. This was a tradition as the two teenagers lived only a couple streets away from each other. Bakugo also lived in this neighborhood, but he'd rather suck someone's toes than be seen walking with the pair. Besides, today he was extra mad because of the whole Quirk Apprehension test.
"Bye [Name]!" Midoriya yelled as [Name] opened the door to her house.
"Bye Izu!"
{Name] immediately collapsed on the couch, which took a bit of fussing about because many cats were already laying across the furniture.
"Tough day?"
Like an Hot Topic employee, a man loomed out of the back of the house creepily.
"Yeah." [Name] sighed and leaned back. "You could have gone easier on us, dad."
"You know I hate going easy on people [Name]." Shota Aizawa said teasingly as he smirked at his adopted daughter.
