The (h/c) haired female had come from a dark past, and she really just went through life with the outlook of a lazy nihilist, but a small part of her was actually interested in what the world had to offer.

When she first arrived in Japan, she was as good as dead, physically and mentally. The 5 year old girl was bleeding internally, bruised and scraped, and in a coma for 5 days before she was completely healed.

It had been a year since she came to Japan, and a year since she lost everything she once loved. What never really healed was her hesitation, her low self confidence, her anxiety and fear. Because of her past, she always doubted her every move.

But in this moment, adrenaline pumped through her veins, and she was angry. To be specific, angry at the boy who was bullying and pushing around her best friend.

"You'll never be a hero, Deku! You're just a stupid nerd!" Bakugo yelled angrily as he pulled his hand back, his palms popping with small firework-like explosions. Izuku, her best friend, who was quirkless, desperately put his arms above his head in a pathetic attempt to protect himself.

"STOP IT!" [Name] screamed as she dashed in front of the green haired boy, covering her body with his. [Name] weren't going to lie, she felt a bit intimidated by Bakugo. Most of the time she tried to avoid him, but received the occasional death threat. However, this was the first time the two would actually be engaging in combat. Or rather, the first time he was going to kick her ass.

Bakugo widened his eyes in surprise, but his fist was already in motion. [Name] closed her eyes and yelped out in pain as his fist collided with her collarbone, causing her skin to suddenly feel like it was on fire. As the dust cleared, she angrily grabbed his wrist, tears on the edges of her eyes. Bakugo looked in surprise and his face contorted in pain as an intense amount of energy buzzed around the palm of her hand.

"W-What the hell?! I THOUGHT YOU WERE QUIRKLESS!" Bakugo yelled angrily, wrenching his wrist from the girl's grip and rubbing it. Although Bakugo's wrist stung slightly, her power wasn't even close to being deadly or fatal.

On the other hand, [Name] brushed her hand over her collarbone in pain. Bakugo went slightly pale as he saw a burn scar, right where he punched her. He felt slightly... Guilty?

"Next time, don't get in my way, freak." Bakugo spat and turned around on his heel, walking away.

"[N-Name]? I didn't know you had a quirk! That's so cool!" Midoriya said innocently, his green eyes wide and slightly watery. [Name] nervously bit her lip, feeling bad for keeping it from her best friend.

[Name] had a quirk, she just never used it. It reminded [Name] of and that was painful.

"You can be a hero, [Name]..." Izuku said, his tears now flowing freely from his eyes.

"Izuku, you can too..." [Name] whispered as she pulled him into her body for a comforting hug. That was the sentence he needed to hear, the sentence that sparked hope into his heart.

[Name's] heart ached for this boy, and she suddenly felt guilty. All he wanted was to be a hero, but he was quirkless. And she had a powerful 2-sided quirk, but didn't use it. She was a selfish brat.

That was the day that [Name] decided she would become a hero. For her friend, for her family, for the world, and for herself. But she swore she would never use that side of her quirk. Not after that incident.
