they finally have someone in custody. this could be the end of everything. but what if it's not? it's been so long and the police have no leads whatsoever so maybe this really could be the end. there's just that thought in my mind that is saying it's not even close to over. i hope it's not over. i like how things are.

this is fucking insane, they caught the guy? maybe? i cant even believe it, i know this whole thing is about y/n but it's going to feel so good to not have to worry about any of this anymore.

we all ran down the stairs and ran into the car as fast as we could. we started driving down to the police station which took like 5 minutes. in the car i could tell y/n was nervous. she was biting her nails and bouncing her leg. we all noticed it. finn put his hand on her thigh to try and help her calm down a little bit. i just- i wanna know when THE FUCK THEYRE ACTUALLY GOING TO GET TOGETHER. anyways, i don't know how y/n is actually feeling about this but aside from being nervous i can tell she's excited. i know she's so excited and happy to be done with this. hopefully.

we got to the police station and ran inside. officer henry, officer brown, and officer ferguson met us at the door. finn, sophia, and i were asked to stay in the waiting room until y/n could possibly identify him. she told us she still doesn't know what he fully looks like. y/n said he was wearing sunglasses, the god damn sunglasses. but i'm pretty sure that she will be able to identify him just from his features. i'm so happy for her, if it's him.

i walked into the back of the police station with officer ferguson and she took me to where he was. there was a man facing backwards on one of the walls with the height measurements, you know what i'm talking about. he had a good over his head so i couldn't even see his hair or even his build. i know he was a pretty skinny guy but i cant tell if this guy is built the same at all.

they asked him to turn around. my heart was beating so fast. was this finally going to be the end?

he turned around and took his hood off. my heart dropped.

blond hair? he has dirty b-blond hair? they then asked him to take his hoodie off so he was only wearing a shirt. same build actually, some of the same facial features. but it's the blond hair. and he has those brown eyes that i remember. the pale flawless skin too. everything is there. it's him. and to be completely honest, i know who this guy is. he's in a couple of my classes. i feel so stupid for not noticing. there's no way in hell i'm telling anybody.

"it's him" i say to officer ferguson. "you did an amazing job". she said to me as she allowed me to go back to the waiting room to see my friends. as i walked out they all looked up. "yes" i said nodding my head. "it's him". i said running to finn and hugging him so hard. jack and sophia joined our hug and we sat there for like 5 minutes. i'm so happy this is all over. i can go to sleep without having to worry. i can- i can go to school finally. and i can just feel safe. this is the best day ever.

i can't believe this is all over with. and yes i know y/n said it's him but she's off. she's acting kinda weird like she's hiding something. i know when she's lying or not telling me something. it's just the facial expressions she does and her body language that let me know something is going on. but i'm not gonna question her or ask her anything about it today. maybe not even at all this week. i want her to finally feel comfortable again.

i'm probably going to do something nice for her this week. maybe go out to dinner or to the beach? i don't know but we can finally go out in public without worrying about being looked at or feeling like we are in danger at all.
