Shhh... do you hear that?

Oh yeah, that's just the sound of my heart breaking now this story is over.

After 106,000+ words, 398 pages, and 49 chapters, the first story I ever posted to this app is actually over. 😭

In just under a year I managed to finish this story and reach goals I never imagined possible and that's all thanks to you guys. Time to get all sappy and say from the bottom of my heart for all the support I've received on this story❤️

Never in a million years did I think as many of you would become interested in what I created. I came on this app with no expectations whatsoever (no pun intended). I didn't know or really care about how many reads or votes I would get, I just wanted to write. I've always had characters and stories built up in my head, but I never had the courage or took the time to write them down until recently. So this is for all the people out there that are scared to put themselves out there. If I can do it, so can you.

Thank you to every reader, new and old. I appreciate you taking the time to read my story. And a special thank you to those of you that have been there since the beginning, and for every wonderful vote and comment I've received along the way. I wish I could shout out all of you, but I don't want to possibly forget someone or upset anyone. You all know who you are❤️

there will be a sequel!!!!!

Of course I can't leave my first babies Joslyn and Alex hanging like that. They deserve better than a cliffhanger! lol

As far as the sequel goes, I have most of the plot figured out, just not all of it. Unfortunately, it'll be a couple of months before it comes out, and I hope you'll all be here for the rest of Alex and Joslyn's story when its published! I just want Alex and Joslyn to simmer for a bit, and I want to have a solid outline for them before jumping into a sequel. In the mean time, I think I'm going to focus a bit on Jake and Chelsea in my other book "Fight and Flight" (shameless self plug).

But don't worry, an announcement on the "Expectations" sequel will be out soon! I'll post a chapter here with the cover and description so keep your eyes open!
