We walked inside and I could smell a sweet scent. It wasn't something that made me want to eat or anything like that but something that compelled me to want to protect it, to love and cherish it forever. We made it to the living room and the entire family was gathered around. They were all huddled together looking at what I could only assume was my daughter.
"Welcome to the family." Esme said as we entered the room. Everyone turned and smiled at me.
"You look amazing, (Y/n)." Alice complimented me.
"Oh, I'm so glad that you're back now." Bella chuckled embracing me quickly and I laughed with her.
"Someone's been waiting to meet you." Carlisle said and I nodded anxiously.
Jacob, Henry, Edward, and Rose were bundled together in a tight knit circle.
"Here comes your Mom." Edward leaned forward whispered into Rosalie's arm's and I grinned at him.
"Rose." Emmett said making her finally turning around.
I gazed at the beautiful baby girl in her arms. She looked back at me with a wide smile and bright (Y/e/c) eyes. She made little gurgling sounds and cooing noises at me. Her little hands reached for me and Rosalie bought her closer. I took her into my arms amazed and yet confused. But, I didn't let my face show it. She laid down in my arms as I cradled her and she reached up for my cheek, lightly placing her small hand on it.
Images flashed in my mind. My hand from the inside of my belly point of view, my voice telling her I'd love her and protect her always, her first time seeing my sickly face looking down at her while on the table, telling her she was beautiful. I smiled in amazement as she removed her hand from my face.
"What was that?" I asked without looking away from her.
"She showed you the first memories she has of you." Edward answered.
"Showed me? How?" I asked.
"She's gifted, she can show you images in your mind and she can talk to you that way too. It's like how Edward hears thoughts, Alice has visions, and Jasper can control moods." Emmett explained wrapping an arm around my waist.
"I've only been out for how long?" I asked curiously looking around.
"Three days." Carlisle answered. "Her growth rate is... unprecedented." I looked from Carlisle's worry ridden face and back to Emalie's smiling one. I smiled back at her, though hiding my pain.
"Oh, Carlisle. There's something we need to talk to you about..." Emmett started to say before he was cut off.
Jacob pushed his way forward and reached out for Emalie.
"All right. That's enough experimenting for one day." Jacob said trying to take her from my arms and I pulled back giving him a scowl.
"Jacob, she's doing great." Emmett frowned at him.

"Yeah. But, let's not push it, shall we?" Jake tried to take her again and I glared at him moving away once more.
"I don't know what your problem is, but I have no urge to hurt her. I am, however, getting one to hurt you, if you don't stop trying to take my daughter from my hands." I growled.
"Oh, please. Do enlighten her, Jacob." Rosalie said in a condescending tone.
"This should be good." Henry smirked.
"Tell me what?" I looked around, getting the feeling of everyone else knowing something I don't.
"Hold on a second." Emmett carefully took Emalie from my hands and passed her back to Bella and Edward.
"I'll ask again. Tell me. What?" I said harshly glaring at Jacob.
"Look," He breathed deeply looking at me begging to take pity on him. Only making my glare harder. "It's a wolf thing."
"What wolf thing?" I growled. Everyone cleared away from us, giving us space.
"Uhm... You know we have no control over it." Jacob said nervously. "We can't choose who it happens with. And it really, doesn't mean what you think it means, (Y/n). I promise."
"Oh, hell no. Take Emalie out of the room." I said in a low tone. Bella chuckled behind me and I heard them leave. I stalked forward and grabbed Jacob by the back of the neck and dragged him outside. He grunted the entire way and I tossed him outside the house, into the backyard.
"You imprinted on my daughter!" I shouted as he got back to his feet. Everyone except Bella came outside to watch the scene unfolding before their eyes.
"It wasn't my choice." Jacob said.
"She's a baby!" I yelled.
"It's not like that... You think Emmett would let me live if it was? That any of them would?" Jacob pointed out.
"I'm still debating it." Emmett chuckled, leaning over the railing watching me proudly.
"I've held her once! One time properly, since she was born, Jacob!" I snarled and walked down the steps towards him. "And already you think that you have some moronic wolfy claim on her?" I shoved his chest and pushed him backwards. "She's mine!" I growled as he landed on the ground.
Seth and Leah came out of the woods in their wolf forms. Leah was growling at me.
"Mama bear to the rescue." Edward chuckled, leaning next to Emmett. Both boys started snickering.
"I knew it was best to let her handle it." Emmett chuckled.
"It's fine, Leah." Jacob said to her, holding his hand up to assure her.
"I didn't think I'd ever have to say this, but you're going to have to stay away from her." I growled.
"You know I can't do that." Jacob got a little to close to me for my liking right now and I punched him in the stomach sending him flying backwards.

"Maybe, you should stop her, Emmett." Esme said concerned.
"He said it's fine." Emmett snickered some more, his gaze never leaving me. "She's amazing, right?" He said dreamily.
Seth and Leah both came and stood next to Jacob in a protective manner. Jacob gathered himself up off the ground and slowly stood up.
"Do you remember how much you wanted to be around me three days ago? That's gone now, right?" Jake stated.
The anger inside me was like a boiling over pot, I thought about his words and attempted to calm myself.
"Yes, it's long gone." I growled slightly.
"Because it was her, from the beginning. It was Emma who wanted me there."
"So you were only attracted to me because your genes were telling you, you wanted my daughter? That's messed up Jacob!" I yelled angrily again.
"(Y/n), you know me better than anyone. You know that's not true. You're my best friend, always have and always will be. All I want is for Em, is to be happy and safe." I softened my glare slightly and he walked forward towards me, cautiously. "Look, nothing ever made sense before. You. Me. Any of it. And now, I understand why. This was the reason." He held out a hand offering it towards me and I sighed, knowing we were on the same page.
That we both just wanted what was best for Emalie. I took his hand and he pulled me into his chest and hugged me. I wrapped my arms gently around him, so I didn't hurt him.
"So, I take it that I'm forgiven?" Jacob asked as we separated.
"Hmm... I understand what you're saying. But, that doesn't mean I like it. And as long as you understand that I'd never hurt her, then we're on the same page." I nodded my head slowly.
"Sounds like a deal to me."
I grinned and punched his shoulder with just enough force to make him rub his arm, but not break it. I turned and bolted into the house quickly finding Bells and Emalie. I held my hand's out and Bella handed her over.
"Hello, my beautiful little love." I cooed and she smiled snuggling into my arms. Emmett whooshed up beside us and laid a gentle hand on her head.
"Ah, my gorgeous girl's. Everything's finally complete." Emmett said kissing my temple.
"I love you. Both of you for all eternity." I said looking between them.
"I love you both. Our eternity together will be great."
"What did you two need to speak to me about?" Carlisle asked as he entered them room with his warm Carlisle smile.
"Right, almost forgot." Emmett chuckled. "Uh, (Y/n) ran away from human blood today. Well actually, she was more like repulsed by it." He rubbed his neck nervously.
"What do you mean?" Carlisle asked with his eyes wide. He gestured for us to follow him into his office and the three of went with him.
"Well," I started. "When Emmett took me hunting earlier, there was a hiker really far off the trails, rock climbing. He cut himself and I could smell the blood. It smelled wonderful at first..."
"At first?" He asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, then it was like the smell turned sour, like milk after I realized what I was doing." I told him. "Then Jacob came out to greet us so I could try smelling him first before getting to see this little one." I cooed at Emalie in my arms. "But the smell of wet dog was awful, and then it just went away. I can't explain it."
"That's... certainly interesting." Carlisle tapped his chin and went to his bookshelf. He pulled out a thick old looking book and began to look through it for something. Emmett and I looked at each other and back to him and watched him work.
"Can you tell me about what was happening while these things went on. Like what were you doing, thinking, anything of that nature." He asked curiously.
"Uh, well I wasn't really doing anything either time. I mean, I guess, I was thinking about how much I didn't want to do it, or smell it anymore..."
"You thought it. That would make the most sense." Carlisle said reaching a page he must have been looking for.
"What is it, Carlisle?" Emmett asked.
"It's very rare... I've never met anyone with it. But if what your saying explains anything... I think you might have a gift. It's the gift of Complusion. You can will yourself to do things, just by thinking about it, but it takes immense concentration."
"I mean that would make sense. I basically thought really hard telling myself I didn't want the blood, that I wished it wouldn't appeal to me and then, that's when it changed. Same thing for Jacob, I wanted the smell to go away so badly then that's when I couldn't smell anything anymore."
"So she can compel herself to do things?" Emmett asked and Carlisle nodded his head.
"There's probably more she could do with it, but it would take time and concentration to evolve her gift. I have a friend I might be able to phone and find out more information on it." Carlisle said with a smile and I nodded in agreement.
"Thank you, Carlisle."
"You're welcome. It look's like we have two well behaved newborn's amongst us now." Carlisle chuckled.
