《Our Eternity : Emmett Cullen x Reader》Breaking Dawn: Part Two

I felt every ounce of pain the second the venom hit my body. I really thought I had died. I was at complete peace with it, knowing my daughter was safe in the world with her father at her side. I couldn't move and struggled for what felt like an eternity, my body completely burning in every which way. I almost would have rather taken the pain from giving birth. Both were agonizing.
I felt the ability to open my eyes returning. They slammed open and everything was so... different. The world was loud, I could see every speck of dust in the air, I could see and hear the condensation running down a vase in the office. I sat up quickly and scanned the room. Eyes adjusting to their new normal line of sight. When I noticed a tall, figure standing by the window watching me. My eyes focused and it was Emmett. He looked at me lovingly and reached out his hand.
I lifted mine slowly and saw the gleam of my wedding ring that had been removed while I was sick, back on my finger. I stood up and in a singular second I was at his side, our hands intertwining. My other hand ran up his arm and I noticed right away he didn't feel the same. It wasn't like he was cold or warm, we just... the same. Emmett's hand traced up my side and to my cheek, I took in his scent which was intoxicating, tenfold than it was before. I leaned into his touch and smiled.
"You're so beautiful." He whispered tucking hair behind my ear. "We're the same temperature now." Emmett chuckled lightly and I giggled. He took my hand and led me to a mirror so I could see the new me.
What I saw was amazing. I looked mostly like me, beautiful, (Y/H/C) haired girl, not sickly anymore, not starved. Just beautiful me. I looked a little closer and shivered slightly.
"The eyes are creepy." I said plainly. My voice I noticed, I mostly sounded like me, only slightly different. Emmett belly laughed and cupped my cheeks.
"They'll disappear. But even the way they are, you're still the most gorgeous woman I've ever had the pleasure to lay my eyes on." He said softly and let go of my face. I reached around him and pulled his waist to mine, our bodies knocked together. When I hugged him, he grunted lightly."Uh, (Y/n). You're a lot stronger than I am right now." I loosened my grip and looked at him apologetically. "It's your turn not to break me."
"I love you." I told him sweetly.
"I love you." Emmett leaned in and kissed me.
The same feeling I've always gotten when our lips met hadn't changed. Those fireworks I felt between us were still there. He pulled me closer to him as the kiss intensified but I quickly pulled away feeling no barrier between us. My hands landed on my belly and I gasped looking up at him.

"Emalie?" I said in sudden shock. He chuckled.
"She's incredible." He boasted making me smile brightly at him.
"Where is she? I need to see her." I said with excitement in my voice, Emmett held my hand to keep me from walking off and he cleared his throat looking at me seriously.
"Wait, wait. She's missed you too. But first you have to get your thirst under control." He reminded me and that's when I felt a sudden burning sensation in my throat. It felt like I hadn't had something to drink in a thousand years. I lifted my hand to my throat and looked at Emmett with a terrified expression. "Yeah, you need to hunt." He smirked. He grabbed my hand and we walked out the office door to the overhead porch.
He jumped with ease over the railing landing softly on the forest floor, looking back at me with a grin. I ran and jumped forward the same way he did, surpassing him with a good distance. We grinned at one another and began running through the forest. It was unlike anything else you could possibly experience. Running freely with vampire speed, through the trees being able to dodge every obstacle with ease. I was a lot faster than Emmett making him laugh. I slowed myself down slightly to stay paced with him.
"You could give Edward a run for his money." Emmett shouted and I laughed.
"I'll have to challenge him when we get back." I wiggled my brows and bit my lip.
We ran farther leaping over the top of the waterfall at our spot. It was so beautiful. We reached the cliffs, which was a hunting ground for the Cullen's, and far enough away from civilization.
"Okay, close your eyes." Emmett said grabbing ahold of me as we stopped. I turned around in his arms and closed my eyes. Listening to everything around me. "What do you hear?" Emmett whispered into my ear, his lips close. Something that normally would have my hair stand on edge.
I listen closely and I could hear an owl hooting, chipmunks squeaking, and then it sounded like snorting, with heavy footprints. My eyes snapped opened as I concentrated on the sound. Quietly I stalked up towards the good size Buck, that had seven points on it's antlers. It could sense me and it looked up with curiosity in it's eyes. Emmett crawled up next to me and simply nodded.
I was about to make my assault but then I could smell something else. Something that made my mouth water.
"(Y/n), don't." Emmett warned, but it was to late. I already rushed off following the savory smell. I found the hiker, rock climbing up a mountain. He was bleeding somewhere and all I knew was I wanted it and I wanted it bad.
I gripped the mountain side with my hands and clawed my way up towards the hiker. The closer I got the more I realized what was happening. I didn't want to hurt a human... I found a ledge and stopped myself on it, fighting my urge to sink my teeth into the man.

Stop it, it's gross, you don't want it, you don't want it, you DON'T WANT IT. I internally screamed at myself. My hand's pressed heavily against my temples. Suddenly something smelled utterly repulsive. If I could puke, that's exactly what I would have done.
Emmett climbed up next to me and gripped my shoulders. He looked at me curiously wondering why I hadn't gone any further.
"I'm sorry, honey. I had no idea there'd be people this far from the trails. Are, are you alright?" Emmett furrowed his brows noticing my scrunched face.
"No! The scent of the blood went from smelling great, to suddenly smelling disgusting! We need to get out of here. I can't take it." I groaned.
"Okay. It's okay. I'll help you." He reassured me softly with a smile. I shook my head quickly at him and simply took a leap off the side of the cliff. Needing to get away as fast as possible. "Or not." Emmett chucked to himself watching me disappear from view.
We met up again further into the tree line and looked at each other.
"How did you... what happened?" Emmett asked just as confused as I was and I shrugged.
"I don't know. Like I said, he smelled delicious, but the closer I got, the more I became aware of what I was doing. I stopped myself and just told myself I didn't want to do it and suddenly this awful smell came from him, it was like his blood curdled. Like spoiled milk." I shuttered again thinking about the intensity of the smell. "It was enough that if I could puke. I would have."
Emmett's eyes grew wider the more I spoke.
"That's, uh... never happened to me before. We'll have to ask Carlisle when we get back. But first, how about we try that deer again, huh?" He smiled trying to refocus ourselves.
"Yeah. Let's." I nodded.
We followed the scent of the same Buck once again and found it with ease. I stalked up to it before hearing a large growl. A mountain lion stalked up behind my deer and eyed it ready for the kill. He took his leap and I jumped forward colliding with the giant forest cat's body. We tumbled to the ground and I pinned it underneath me. It growled and hissed, attempting to attack me back, but I let out a rumble from my own throat and dug my teeth into it's neck. I drank it dry and climbed up, brushing off my dress. Looking at Emmett who was looking back at me, with amazed and love filled eyes. He hugged me, twirling us around and we walked back to the house together laughing.
"You were something else. Amazing hardly covers it. You're a newborn, few hours old, able to run away from human blood and you took down a massive mountain lion. Even mature vampires have issues with turning down human blood. I'm curious to know how you did it."
I smiled sheepishly and tucked my hair behind my ear. The back door to the house opened and Jacob walked out coming closer towards us. A intense wet dog smell filled the air making me scrunch my nose again. It was bad, but still not nearly as nasty as the other smell.
"You're still here?" I asked surprised with a smile.
"So are you." Jake said getting closer. "I didn't expect you to seem so...you." He shrugged and I grinned. "Except the creepy eyes."
"I told you, I'd still be me." I grinned proudly at Jacob. "And I told you my eyes were creepy!" I looked at Emmett, who laughed. "Uh..." I put my hand up making him stop walking closer. "Just don't, uh, come any further."
"It's safer for the baby to see how you do with me first." Jacob said and I frowned slightly.
"Since when do you care about Emalie? And actually I was referring to the wet dog smell. You're blood's not appealing, like at all." I told him seriously. He looked at me a little offended. His eyes, flickered to Emmett's for a moment which I noticed. Emmett ever so slightly shook his head no.
"Alright." Jacob shrugged and took another step towards me but I stepped back.
"No seriously, Jacob. You smell. I'm sorry, but it's true. I see now what everyone's been complaining about."
God I wish the smell would turn into something nicer, hell, even go away completely. I thought to myself, nearing a gag. Suddenly I couldn't smell anything. My body became stiff and Emmett noticed.
"What's wrong?" Emmett looked at me concerned again and Jacob stood ready to tackle me down if necessary, making me frown at him again.
"Actually, nothing's wrong. I-I don't smell anything anymore?" I said as if it was a strange question. Both men looked at me incredulously.
"What do you mean, you don't smell anything anymore." Jacob asked.
"I'm not really sure. Come here." I gestured him forward and he complied hesitantly. I smelled him and started laughing. Both guys looked at me again amused. "Wow, you suddenly don't stink." I said amused.
"Okay, that's uh... weird. Thank's, I think?" Jake said making Emmett and I laugh. Emmett wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me close to him. "You guys, really... look great together." Jacob said softly and I raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Come on, let's go meet our daughter." Emmett said and I nodded happily. Jacob grinned and ran back into the house before us.
