《Our Eternity : Emmett Cullen x Reader》The Birth

Later that night came Rosalie, Alice, and Bella sat with me having girl talk and they talked to me about name choices. When Jacob walked back in the room, Edward and Emmett met him at the door.
"Thank you." Emmett told him politely.
"They make it out alright?" Jake asked.
"Yeah." Edward nodded.
"Good." He pushed past them and walked into the room. He looked at me and smiled. Bella and Rose grabbed my arms and helped me stand on my feet.
"Hey." I smiled. "Are you okay?" I asked noticing his solemn look.
"Yeah, it's not like I am the one carrying a demon." Jake said with a smirk and I rolled my eyes.
"This is pretty important, (Y/n). Why don't you tell Jacob what you've decided?" Rose told me.
"W-what now?" Jacob looked around the room concerned.
"Rose is trying to talk (Y/n) out of her and Emmett's baby names." Edward chuckled.
"She hates them." I said, looking at Rose.
"Well, then i'm on your side no matter what you picked." Jacob smiled at me making me smile back at him.
"They're not that bad, sis." Emmett rolled his eyes. Rose scoffed with a slight smile.
"If it's a boy. Emmett Jacob Charles Cullen." I told him proudly. Jacob looks at me shocked. "EJ for short."
"Okay, fine that ones not awful." Rosalie rolled her eyes. "Tell him the girl name."
"I picked her middle name." Bella said with a smirk. "That's the part Rose hates."
"Emmett really wanted his name to be incorporated boy or girl. And I've always loved the idea of this first name so we adjusted it slightly. And Bella was playing around with our mom's name's." I explained. "Renee and Esme, which is how she got her her middle name."
"Okay, so what is it?" Jacob chuckled lightly.
"Emalie Renesmee Cullen. (Emily.) Emma for short. It's a mixture of Emmett's name and Rosalie's." I smiled at her.
"Emalie Renesmee?" Jacob said the name out loud, making Edward chuckle. He obviously didn't love it.
"Is it to weird?" I asked scrunching up my nose.
"Uhm..." Jacob responded clearly thinking about how to reply without hurting my feelings.
"No. It's not to weird. It's beautiful and it's unique, which certainly fits the situation." Emmett assured me, making me blush and smile at him.
"I like it." Edward smirked at Rose making her scoff.
"They like it." I whispered to her with a giggle.
"I just don't know why you have to name her after Emmett." She rolled her eyes again and grabbed the styrofoam cup from off the table. "You could pick something more traditional. Like just Rosalie." Rosalie tried to sway my decision as she attempted to hand me the cup.
When I reached for it, I knocked it out of her hand by accident. I attempted to grab the cup, but in the process a sickening crack was heard. My ribs had snapped. I fell to the ground and my knees being so weak snapped too.
I cried out in pain, as everyone in the room watched with wide eyes. Before I could hit the ground completely Emmett held my head off the floor. Jacob was by my side in a instant. I could barely process what was going on. I was in so much pain. They surrounded me and started shouting orders at each other.
Emmett scooped me up in his arms and rushed me to the small hospital area that had been prepped for me to give birth in. Bella stood by my head, stroking my hair. Trying to keep me calm. Emmett and Edward beside her, rushing around getting things ready. Jacob stood on the other side holding my hand. Alice ran to the phone to call Carlisle, and Rosalie stood next to Jacob.

"Rose, pass the morphine." Emmett demanded. She gave him the large needle and he shoved it into my leg making me cry out in pain.
"Carlisle said the placenta must have detached." Alice said in a worried voice from somewhere in the room.
My eye sight was fading in and out. I tried hard to breathe and hold on through the immense pain.
"He's coming as fast as he can." Alice said appearing near me.
"We'll have to do it." Edward said looking at Emmett. I grunted and groaned in pain and they looked at me concerned.
Rosalie was quick to grab the scalpel and attempted to go over my stomach, but Emmett grabbed her hand.
"Rose, you've got to let the morphine spread." Emmett said.
"There's no time. She's dying." Rosalie hissed through gritted teeth. That certainly caught my attention.
"Get her out, NOW!" I screamed through the pain.
"Look at me, (Y/n). Just look at me." Jacob cooed, brushing his hand over my forehead. I focused on his brown eyes and felt more of the pain.
Rosalie dragged the scalpel along the lower part of my belly, and I could feel every second of it. I screamed out and shut my eyes tightly, making everything go black. When the pain from the cut was gone, I slowly opened my eyes again, still moaning and groaning. I looked up to see Rosalie looking at her hand and the scalpel that was now covered in my blood.
"Rosalie, don't!" Edward shouted noticing her shaking. Jacob turned and tackled her to the floor. "Alice, get her out of here. Bella you should go to!" Edward barked orders at them.
"I'm not leaving my sister!" Bella screeched. She held her hand to my face looking at me with reassuring eyes and I nodded best I could.
"Ow, ow, ow!" I screamed again feeling a massive shot of pain through my body. Jacob returned to my side, Edward now next to him and Emmett working on my belly, finding the tough uterian wall.
"Save her! You've got to change her!" Jacob said looking at me and Emmett with terrified eyes. I squeezed his hand as hard as my weak hand could. My vision fading in and out even worse now.
"I can't, not while she's still in there." Emmett said quickly trying to figure out how to proceed next. "I got to get her out first."
"It's thick just like in the X-rays, there's only one thing that could possibly penetrate that wall." Edward looked at his brother seriously. Emmett nodded and looked to me apologetically.
"Stay, (Y/n). Stay focused. Keep your heart beating." Jacob chanted at me slowly.
"She's suffocating!" I screamed.
"Do it, now!" Bella shouted.
"I'm so sorry, baby." Emmett's eyes met mine before he dove down and sank his teeth into my stomach. I could feel the awful tearing, and the sound wasn't much better.
"Look at us, (Y/n). Keep your eyes on us, okay?" Bella shushed me quietly.
"GAHHHH!" I screamed loudly some more until my body felt lighter, felt free.
"Okay." Emmett said, wiping his face with his hands. Blood smearing across.
"Now, you've just got to grab her. I can see her." Edward said.
There was light pain. A shuffling feeling in my belly. Then I heard it. A beautiful, soft, little cry. I focused all my energy to my eyes, hoping to catch a glimpse of my child. I heard Emmett making a small choking sound like he was crying if that was even possible.

"Honey, you were right." Emmett said to me and the baby cried lightly. "Hey, hey." He cooed at her. "It's Emalie."
I could make out his face finally and he looked utterly overjoyed. Edward came to Bella's side and slightly moved her as Emmett came closer. Setting Emalie on my chest. I looked down at my beautiful little girl. I could feel the happy tears rolling down my face.
"You're so beautiful." I said softly and she stopped squirming as much. She looked up at me and I could see her beautiful little (Y/e/c) eyes, just like mine. But she had Emmett's dark hair. I couldn't take my eyes off her, she was enchanting.
Everyone stood around us, looking at us adoringly. I felt a small sharp pain on my chest as she bit into my skin.
"Ouch." I winced, and she started to cry.
Emmett quickly took her from my hands and cooed at her. I watched my husband hold our baby girl and it filled me with so much love. I could feel in that moment, the adrenaline that had kept me going all this time was starting to fade. I served my purpose, I got my child into the world safely, just like I promised. She was here and I got to see her at least once. I was finally at peace and I shut my eyes.
I held my beautiful baby girl in my hands and looked back to see (Y/n)'s chest rise up and fall one last time, without rising again. Her eyes closed and I began to panic.
"(Y/n)?" Jacob said and she didn't move. "(Y/n)?" He yelled louder and shook her shoulders.
"Jacob, take the baby." I said quickly.
He bent down and began mouth to mouth resuscitation and pumped his hands on her chest.
"Keep that thing away from me." He hissed, while continuing the CPR. "Come on, (Y/n). You can't leave me." Jacob cried quietly.
"Emmett, let me take her." Edward assured him and grabbed a towel, wrapping my daughter up and holding her closely. He and Bella quickly left the room and I got to work.
I grabbed a giant vile, with my venom in it that I had stashed in the drawer, attaching the needle to the end of it.
"What is that?" Jacob said looking at the silvery liquid inside.
I jammed it into her chest where her heart was, making Jacob wince.
"It's my venom." I pushed the large syringe into her. I waited for a moment and there was no change. "Come on." I whispered in pain looking at my wife. Still nothing. I began CPR on her, pumping her chest roughly with my hands. "It's supposed to be working." I said out loud, not really to anyone in particular.
She should have been thrashing around, or something. But there was nothing but absolute silence and she was completely still.
"Oh, my god. Come on." I said, pain laced in my voice. If I could cry I would have.
Jacob stood next to me watching his best friend and he let out his tears.
"I-I won't kill you." He choked out and glared at me. "That'd be too easy. You deserve to live with this." Jacob took one last look at her and turned away.
I refused to accept this. I wasn't going to let her leave me. I promised to protect her, to love her always and I was going to keep that promise. I grabbed her arm and bit down, injecting my venom into her once more. I bit her anywhere I could. Her arms, her legs, her sides, her neck... Praying for her to come back to me.
I walked out before I could process what had just happened before me. I knew I had tears running down my face. But the second I left that room. My entire world came crashing down. I fell to the dirt ground and held my knees to my chest and for the first time in a long time. I cried. I cried hard. Over the loss of my best friend since we were babies in diapers, over the loss of what never was, over the love of my life laying in the other room. Dead. Never coming back dead.
I knew Seth and Leah, came close. I could sense them. But I tucked my head into my knees and cried more.
"She didn't make it." Seth said to Leah.
Seth let a few tears of his own fall, and Leah looked down to the ground sadly.
"You're not dead. You're not dead." I chanted over and over still continuing to beat her heart for her. "Come on!" I growled. "No, it will work." I mumbled and leaned my forehead against hers. "It will work. Please, please, please, please. Baby, come back to me, please, baby." I begged her quietly. "(Y/n), (Y/n), (Y/n), please, please."
My tears stopped after about ten minutes. I was now filled with nothing but rage. That thing killed her. It's that thing's fault. I was sure Edward would hear me coming but I didn't care. I walked inside the house going to the living room, where I could smell that they were gathered. Rosalie had the child in her arms, Bella and Edward weren't there for the moment making it the perfect opportunity.
I stepped forward as Blondie was to engrossed in the baby to notice me. Rosalie lifted the baby up some and I could see her face. She looked so much like (Y/n). Her little (Y/e/c) eyes met mine and I stopped walking forward. My entire world shifted in that instant. Nothing else around me mattered anymore. I gazed into Emalie's eyes and fell to my knees.
Flashes shot through my brain. Her eyes meeting mine, a beautiful little girl with her mother's smile and her father's black hair, running and skipping, turning into a beautiful teenager, running through the forest, with my wolf at her side, me holding her little hand, growing bigger and holding hands by the beach.
Edward and Bella walked back in the room from washing up the moment my knees hit the ground. Edward had seen the whole thing and he gasped softly, making his wife look at him.
"He's going to kill you." Edward chuckled softly at me.
"What? Who?" Bella asked looking between us both as I continued to stare at Emalie.
"Jacob imprinted, on Emma." Edward whispered to her, making Rosalie and Bella look at me with glaring faces.
"What, why aren't you more upset?!" Bella growled, stepping forward toward's me.
I stood up quickly and put my hands up.
"Wait, wait." I told them quickly. "You have to let me explain."
Edward put his hand out in front of Bella making her stop walking towards me and nodded. I explained everything I could about the imprint bond, showing it didn't mean what they thought. They weren't thrilled but decided it would be up to Emmett and (Y/n) to deal with me.
Oh, I was not prepared for this. She was going to kill me... Wait... I remembered the events of the past hour and looked quietly back at Emalie. The poor kid was never going to meet her mother...
"Can I-I uh, hold her?" I asked Rosalie and she smiled softly before handing me the baby girl. I cradled her in my arms and she smiled up at me. She was absolutely enchanting.
