《Our Eternity : Emmett Cullen x Reader》The Kiss

A few days later Bella enjoyed sometime at the pack house with Seth, getting to know him better. Jacob and I went for a ride to a large clearing in the mountains, enjoying a walk along the hiking path.
"Wow, it's so pretty here." I looked around in awe of the large body of water, the fields of green, green grass. "So, Alice has this big graduation party planned. Which you're invited to." I grinned at him only for him to give a me a deadpan expression. I scoffed. "Yeah. Figured that was going to be your response." I rolled my eyes. Jacob slowly came to a stop and I stopped walking after noticing. "What?"
"I just wanted to do this differently. Smoother. But now I'm out of time." Jacob said.
I looked at him curiously.
"Do what?"
Jacob took a few steps forward landing right in front of me.
"You need to hear the truth, (Y/n), understand all your options. And you need to know that I'm in love with you, and I want you to choose me instead of him."
I groaned lightly.
"Jacob... You know I love you too, but it's not in the same way you feel for me." I explained.
"I don't buy it." He said quickly. His big brown eyes gazed intensely into my (Y/E/C) ones.
"Why? That's how I feel. You have to accept that."
"I don't because you feel something else for me. You just won't admit it. So I'm not giving up. I'm gonna fight for you until your heart stops beating." Jake's voice held so much determination.
"Well, I guess your not going to have to fight for very long, then." I scoffed and tried to walk off before his warm hand caught my wrist.
"You're rushing into it because you're afraid you'll change you're mind."
"I'm not."
"You wouldn't have to change for me, (Y/n), or say goodbye to anybody. I can give you so much more than him. Feel that?" He took my hand he was holding and placed it against his chest above his heart. "Flesh, blood and warmth." I nodded subtly and shook my head.
Jacob put a hand on my cheek wrapping his fingers behind my neck and smashed his lips onto mine. I stood their completely shocked, unable to kiss back if I had even wanted too. As soon I realized what was going on, I pushed Jacob off me. He moved back breathlessly and as a smirk began to cross his face, I punched him in the jaw. A sickening crunch rang through the air.
"Holy shit! God! Crap!" I shouted out in pain grabbing my fist with my other hand. Jacob looked stunned and he followed me around trying to check and see if I was alright. I continued to move around to get away from him. "Holy mother of god!" I glared at him angrily.
We got into the car and went back to Emily's to pick up Bella.
"Emily can we get some ice?" Jacob shouted as we entered the house.
"What happened?" Bella ran over as soon as she she saw me holding my wrist.
"Dickwad, over there thought it would be appropriate to kiss me without my consent! So, I punched him and his face broke my freaking hand!" I explained to her through gritted teeth and pain.
"What is it with you and punching supernatural creatures in the face?" Bella said with a shake of her head. She grabbed my arm lightly inspecting my wrist. "We need to get you too see Carlisle."

Jacob came back over with some ice in a bag. I aggressively grabbed the bag with my good hand and walked back out to the car with the other two not far behind.
Edward and I were laughing, making small talk on the ride to go pick up the girl's. We were supposed to be meeting them at their house while Jacob dropped them off.
"So did you get her ring yet?" Edward asked as he drove us in his black Volvo.
"I did. I have it being shipped to the house. I really hope she likes it. Hell, I really just hope she says yes. We've never really talked about marriage." I shrugged.
"(Y/n)'s not like Bella, Emmett. She's not afraid of such big commitments like marriage. She doesn't care what other people think about her. Bella said no to me because she's afraid people will think she's knocked up." He chuckled.
"Dude, that's hilarious... You are right though, she doesn't give a shit about what other's say and think about her. Though it's rare if she ever even meet's someone who doesn't just automatically like her. It's a bit insane actually..." I pondered what that was about as we neared the house.
"Something's wrong." Edward began to speed up the car. I whipped my head up to look at him.
"What? What happened? Is it Victoria? Did something happen to one of the girls?" I asked worriedly.
"Oh man..." Edward grumbled to himself.
"What? Tell me Edward now." I snapped.
"Jacob's thought's are really loud... You are not going to like what he did to (Y/n)..." He gave me a quick look and I gave him a gesture to tell me what the hell was wrong with my girlfriend. "He kissed her and she punched him." He told me as we flew into the driveway way. I jumped out of the car and flew over into Jacob's face.
We pulled into our driveway and just barely got out of the car. Edward's Volvo whipped into the driveway only seconds after we exited the vehicle. We walked up towards the house, I clutched my wrist tightly and suddenly Emmett was in front of Jacob with a hand tightly gripping his shoulder. Edward moved Bella out of the way.
"Emmett!" I shouted.
"If you ever touch her against her will again." Emmett shouted angrily and Jacob ripped his hand off his shoulder. They squared up against each other.
"Don't do this here!" I shouted again trying to stop them.
"She's not sure what she wants!" Jacob spat through gritted teeth.
"Stop it!"
"Let me give you a clue! Wait for her to say the words." Emmett snarled.
"Fine! And believe me she will." Jacob growled.
"Jacob, just go, okay?" I shouted still trying to get in between them.
Edward could sense Charlie exiting the house and that's when he decided to step in putting a hand on Emmett's shoulder making him slightly relax.
"Hey, hey, hey! Easy, guys. Easy." Dad stepped in between them pushing them away from each other by their chests. "Let's take it down a notch. All right? What's going on?" He asked looking between the two boys and neither one made a move or said anything. As I was about to step in, Jacob finally spoke up.
"I kissed (Y/n)." Dad looked at him surprised. "And she broke her hand... punching my face... Total misunderstanding."
"If you don't mind, Charlie. I think we should take her to Carlisle to get her hand checked." Edward offered.

"That's probably a good idea." Dad looked at me and at my wrist.
He walked back inside after making sure Bella was alright too and allowed her to come with me. Jacob headed to his car and was about to get in it.
"Jacob, remember if you touch my sister again without her consent it's not going to be just Emmett you have to worry about." Edward snarled as we passed by to get into the Volvo.
Emmett inspected my hand as we drove along towards the Cullen household. He ever so lightly brushed his fingers across my skin, that now has a slight tinge of blue to it. We made it to the house and up into Carlisle's office.
"It's just a sprain. It should heal fairly quickly." Carlisle smiled as he wrapped up my hand in an ace bandage.
"Trying to walk and chew gum at the same time there, squirt?" Henry said, as he entered the room, ruffling my hair.
"I punched a werewolf in the face." I laughed.
"Badass. You're going to make one tough little newborn." Henry chuckled.
"Tough enough to take you on." I poked fun at him. Emmett chuckled from behind me.
"What is it with you and punching supernatural creatures?" Jasper asked with a light laugh.
"Heh. I don't know. But it's not the first time I've been asked that question today." I shrugged with a large grin.
"So do you got any leads?" Emmett asked looking towards Jasper.
"No sign of the intruder. But Victoria continues to make appearances." Jasper informed them.
I could tell my sister was slightly uncomfortable with the thought so I grabbed her hand and dragged her outside where I had seen Rosalie go.
"Hi, Rosalie."
"Hey." She said softly without turning around.
"Is something the matter?" I walked over closer to her and leaned against the railing.
"Ahh. So you did catch that... How about the fact that both of you are all to happy to change into a vampire? I thought you at least knew better, (Y/n)."
I looked to the ground, feeling her disappointment.
"Okay, I'm just curious. What did I do to make you hate me so much?" Bella questioned her.
Rosalie chuckled.
"I don't hate you. I don't particularly like you, but... I envy you. Both of you." Rosalie admitted, shocking us both.
"What? That's ridiculous." Bella said quietly joining her other side.
"Why do you envy us?" I asked curiously.
"Because you have a choice. I didn't. None of us did. But you do and you're both choosing wrong. I don't care how miserable your human lives are." She told us softly and continued to gaze off into the woods. I placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Rosalie... Our lives aren't miserable. It's certainly not perfect."
"Nobody's life is perfect." Bella added quietly.
Rosalie scoffed.
"Mine was. Absolutely perfect. There were things I still wanted, to be married, with a nice house and a husband to kiss me when he came home, a family of my own. Royce King was the most eligible bachelor in town. I barely knew him. But I was young. I was in love with the idea of love. On the last night of my life, I left a friends house late. I wasn't far from home..."
"There she is." Royce pointed out as Rosalie walking up the street alone. He was surrounded by his friends. "Hey Rose! Come over here! Here, hold this." He handed a alcohol bottle to one of his buddies. "Hey, come over here. We've been waiting for you. There she is." He told them as he brought her over towards their group. He forced kisses upon her.
"Royce, Royce! You're drunk." She pushed herself slightly out of his grip.
"Isn't she lovely, John? I told you she was a looker." He pinched Rosalie's cheek's.
"It's hard to say with all those clothes on." One of the men snickered. Causing the other men to laugh.
"What do you say Rose? Why don't we take off a few layers?" He laughed attempting to pull on her clothing.
"Stop it, stop it. Stop. Stop." She wiggled her way out of his grip and fixed her composure. "I'll see you tomorrow. Sober." She demanded and attempted to walk away.
"Hey, where do you think you're going?"
"They left me in the street, thinking I was dead. Believe me, I wanted to be. Carlisle found me. He smelled all the blood. Thought he was helping me."
"Oh, Rosalie... I am so sorry." I said and she looked at me and smirked.
"I got my revenge though. One at a time. Saved Royce for last, so he'd know I was coming. He had guards placed at his door. I took care of them easily. Walked in in a big white wedding dress, to find him drinking and whimpering in the corner of the room. I was a little theatrical back then." She chuckled softly. "Things got better after I found Henry. But we'll always be this. Frozen. Never moving forward. That's what I miss the most. Possibilities. Sitting on a front porch somewhere, Henry, gray haired, by my side, surrounded by our grandchildren. Their laughter." Her face and tone were sad. I pulled her in for a quick hug which she gratefully accepted.
"I understand that's what you want. But there's nothing I'm ever going to want more than Edward." Bella spoke slowly and surely.
"You're wrong again. After you've been changed, there's one thing you'll want more, one thing you'll kill for... Blood." Rose said.
Bella looked down to the ground, and then decided to walk inside. Giving me the opportunity to talk to Rose alone.
"Rose, I know your disappointed with me, with my choice... I just hope that it doesn't make you dislike me. Cause I really like you. I don't know what I'd do if you did."
"I don't think I could ever dislike you, (Y/n). Like I told you before, you're like the sister I never had. And you make Emmett happy. That makes me happy. I don't agree with your decision. But.. It doesn't make me not like you. Just your choice."
"I appreciate your honesty. I've had a lot of doubt's before... Which was why I didn't think I could do it before. But I love Emmett. So much. If I can do something to protect him, your family. I'm willing to do it. You all mean so much more to me than anything else." I told her honestly.
"I know." Rosalie smiled hugging me. "I know very well that you love him, too. Anyone with two eyes can see that. I will be forever grateful for you just on that fact."
