《Our Eternity : Emmett Cullen x Reader》Bonfire

Emmett pulled up to the treaty line in the Jeep. I climbed out from the passenger side, and Bella from the back. The site we were met with was Jacob standing their in his khaki shorts, completely shirtless, leaning against his newly road worthy Red Rabbit vehicle.
"Doesn't he own a shirt." Emmett said loud enough for Jacob to hear. He placed his hands on my hips and pulled me closer to him.
Bella walked to Jake and greeted him, before quickly climbing into in his car.
"I'm good here. You should go." I said softly placing my hands to his chest.
"I'm not going to be gone long." He mumbled.
"Don't rush. You have to hunt." I smiled.
I smiled up at him and he leaned forward slowly, softly brushing his lips against mine. Emmett pulled me flush against him and deepened the kiss. I was slightly surprised but accepted it none the less. He pulled away, my lips already missing the soft coldness of his own. My eyes stayed lightly closed. His forehead pressed against mine.
"Okay, maybe rush just a bit." I whispered softly, making him chuckle. I opened my eyes to be met with his black ones. He pecked my lips once more and pulled away from me.
I walked toward Jacob and his large goofy grin came across his face.
"Hi, beautiful." He greeted me happily.
"Hi." I said as he wrapped me up into a tight hug holding me close to his body.
I could feel him put his head into my hair, in the crook of my neck and take a deep breath. I knew he was just trying to show off to make Emmett jealous. I quickly pulled away and smiled politely at him. Emmett huffed and hopped into the jeep. The tires squealed leaving the dirt onto the pavement and pulling away.
"So, what do you two want to do today? Bike, hike, just hang? It's your call. But we are going to a party tonight." Jake told us as we climbed into the car and drove off.
We hung out for most of the day and then that night Jacob took Bella and I to a bonfire that was considered a council meeting.
"Are you sure this is okay? I really hate being a party crasher." Bella groaned as we walked down the grassy slope towards the already raging fire.
"Technically you're both council meeting crasher's." He chuckled and pointed out the Elder leaders. "You see? Council leaders, Dad, Quil's grandpa and Sue Clearwater. She took over for Harry when he died."

"Uh, we really shouldn't be here." I stopped walking and they stopped along with me.
"You're okay. I thought... I mean, they thought it would be good for you to hear the histories." Jake placed a soft hand on my arm.
"The histories?" I questioned him. "Like the tribe's histories? Aren't they like, secret?"
"We all got a role to play, and you're both just as much a part of this. I mean, it's the first time Seth, Leah and Quil will hear them, too. You are the first outsiders though. Ever." Jacob told us as we continued walking forward again.
"If I had known that I would have dressed better." I mumbled with a furrowed brow looking at my jeans and tee shirt covered by a plain hoodie. Jacob laughed.
"You look fine, (Y/n)."
"Jake!" A younger voice shouted happily. We turned to see a younger boy jogging over to us with a big grin on his face. I'd recognized that baby face anywhere.
"Hey." Jake greeted him.
"It's about time you got here. Paul's been hovering the grub, but I saved you guys some burgers." He shrugged in such a happy way. I grinned and he looked at me. "No way! Hi, (Y/n). Wow!" He hugged me tightly and I laughed.
"Hi, Seth. Holy cow, you've grown. It's so great to see you." I cheered happily.
"Thanks, it's so great to see you too."
"Bella, this is Seth Clearwater. Newest member of the pack." Jacob introduced her.
"Hi." Bella and Seth shake hands smiling at each other. This kid's happiness has always been infectious.
"Newest. Bestest. Brightest." Seth said cockily.
"And slowest." Jacob quickly wrapped an arm around Seth's neck and brought him in for a good ol' fashioned noogie. Bella and I laughed at the two, until a loud whistle was heard making the boys stop.
"Come on, your dad's about to start." Seth took my hand and jogged us over to where he was sitting. I took a seat next to him. Embry and Jake fought over the seat next to me playfully. Jake of course won. Bella joined us and sitting next to Jacob.
"The Quileutes have been a small tribe from the beginning." Billy spoke over the fire to the group. "But we have always had magic in our blood. We were great spirit warriors, shapeshifters that's transformed to a powerful wolf. This enabled us to scare off our enemies and protect our tribe. One day, our warriors came across a creature. It looked like a man, but it was hard like stone and cold as ice. Our warriors sharp teeth finally tore it apart, but only fire would complete destroy it. They lived in fear that the cold man was not alone. And they were right. She took her vengeance out on the village. Our elder chief, Taha Aki, was the only spirit warrior left to save the tribe after his son was killed. Taha Aki's third wife could see that he would lose. The third wife was no magical being, no special powers but one... Courage. The third wife's sacrifice distracted the cold woman long enough for Taha Aki to destroy her. She saved the tribe. Over time, our enemies disappeared. But one remains, the cold ones."

Billy looked directly at Bella and I for a moment and we both put our heads down uncomfortably.
"Our magic awakens when they're near, and we sense it now. We feel the threat in our blood. Something terrible is coming, and we must all be ready, all of us."
A group of newborn vampires attacked all through out Seattle, feeding and making a mess, along with more newborn vampires. Created by the same mysterious man once again.
Emmett and I were cuddled up on the couch watching the news along with Carlisle, Henry and Jasper.
"Seattle is in a state of terror. Police are baffled by the escalating murders and disappearances. Theories range from a vicious new gang to a widely active serial killer. Reporting live..."
"It's getting worse." Carlisle clicked off the tv. "We're going to have to do something."
"It takes more than one of our kind to cause the damage they're reporting. Quite a few more." Jasper said as Edward and Bella walked into the living room. "They're undisciplined, conspicuous."
"It's newborn's." Edward said. His eyebrows furrowing after reading the thought out loud from Jasper's mind.
"What, like new vampires?" Bella questioned looking around at us all.
"In the first few months after the change..." Edward started.
"That's when we're at our most uncontrollable. Vicious. Insane with thirst." Jasper finished for him.
"Something to look forward to." Henry grinned and poked at my side. I furrowed my brow and moved closer to Emmett, sticking my tongue out at Henry.
"No one's trained these newborns, but this isn't random." Jasper offered as an explanation.
"Someone's creating an army." Carlisle understood what Jasper was saying.
"Well, now we're definitely going to Seattle." Henry sat up and hopped off the couch. Excitedly cracking his knuckles.
"An army of vampires?" I asked and gulped slightly frightened. Emmett held his arms around me tightly in a comforting way.
"And they've been created to fight someone." Jasper shook his head.
"We're the only clan even close to Seattle." Emmett pointed out.
"Regardless of why they were made, if we don't put a stop to them, the Volturi will. I'm surprised they've let it go on this long." Carlisle wondered out loud.
"Maybe their behind it. In Italy, I read Aro's mind. He wants me and Alice to join him, but he knows we'll never choose him as long as our family's still alive." Edward said, making Bella tense.
"An army could solve that for him." Jasper agreed.
Emmett and I laid in my bed late one night cuddling together. I tossed and turned desperate to get some sleep and I just couldn't. I huffed loudly and dug my face into my pillow.
"You haven't had trouble sleeping in a long time now. What's got you all worked up, babe?" Emmett said quietly pulling me around to look at him. I sighed loudly.
"Everything I guess. Just worried about the whole army thing, changing, losing my family. I have no idea what I'm going to say to them about why I won't be home for Christmas's, birthday's, other holidays." I explained.
"It get's easier. I promise. You'll have Bella still, and you'll have me and Henry, Rose. Carlisle and Esme already see you as their daughter, Alice, Jasper, Edward. Every single one of us will always be there for you. As for everything else. We are working on it, and we will get it figured out. I promised to always save you, to keep you safe. That's exactly what I'm going to do."
"Well, aren't you ever worried about what happens after I change? What happen's if I don't smell the same, what if I'm too different, like what if you don't like the fact that I'm not warm anymore." I pouted.
Emmett chuckled and pushed my hair away from my face.
"You will always be my, (Y/n)." He grinned and leaned in, kissing me softly. We separated our lips and I cuddled into his chest. His hand stroked my hair gently. "My (Y/n), just much less fragile."
