While the girl's had traveled to sunny Florida, along with their boyfriend's. The rest of the Cullen family stood in the middle of the dark woods. Positioned and waiting for whatever was coming. Alice had seen a vision finally after months of trying too track Victoria's whereabouts.
"Are you sure this is where you saw her?" Carlisle asked his daughter.
"She's almost here." Alice focused solely on her vision.
They all waited silently, in the wooded area for any sign of her.
"On your left!" Alice shouted. The family went speeding off, chasing the red headed woman through the forest. Attempting to stop her on Cullen territory.
Rosalie, Henry, Jasper, Alice, Esme and Carlisle, jump, run, climb as fast as they each can to get to her. Henry pushed himself as fast as he could, with his wife right on his tail. He simply couldn't let her get away, not when this woman was a threat to his family. He reached out a hand to grab her as he inched his way closer, but Victoria reacted faster. She grabbed his hand and flung him over her flying into the side of a tree.
"Ugh!" He groaned at the impact. This only made him angrier and more determined.
Victoria successfully jumped over the river crossing into Quileute lands. Carlisle put a hand out to stop his family from continuing any further.
"Wait! She's in their territory."
"She'll get away!" Esme shouted as they ran along their side to keep up with her.
The Quileute pack of wolves came out running chasing the red headed vampire snapping their massive jaws in attempts to reach her and take her down.
"No, she won't!" Jasper yelled.
Victoria turned frightened at the site of the large wolves and continued on her trek forward through the wood. A large silvery wolf was right on her tail, soon to catch up with her if she wasn't careful. Victoria jumped the river bed again, entering back onto Cullen territory. Henry and Jasper were freshly caught up just behind her, so close to achieving their goal and ridding them of this mess.
Victoria jumped into the trees and crossed paths with Jasper only for him to just barely miss her, by literal inches. The family kept running after her pushing themselves hard. Henry gained his momentum again as Victoria crossed the river one final time.
"Henry, no!" Rosalie shouted at him realizing he was too focused on getting her that he wasn't paying attention to the boundary lines.
When Henry Cullen jumped over the river he was greeted with an unfriendly tackle from a large silver wolf throwing him to the ground. The wolf was otherwise known as Paul Lahote. He snapped at him and snarled loudly. Henry stood up in the river on their side and took a threatening pose, letting out loud growls from within himself. The Cullen family stood above and watched at the interaction. Unfortunately causing them all including the other wolves to lose their focus on Victoria and thus letting her get away.
Bella, Edward, Emmett and I got back from visiting my mother. It was nice while it lasted. Like a final sad goodbye, she had no idea was coming to her. That following Monday, Emmett and I pulled up to the school in the Jeep. We climbed out and walked towards the school joined by Bella and Edward. We were making small talk when I noticed the boys stiffen their already pale, cold, stiff bodies.
"Hey, why don't you guys run inside and we'll catch up. Just got to talk to Edward." Emmett suggested pushing both of us forward.

"Okay, normally I wouldn't object but why are you being weird?" I questioned his actions, but Bella quickly grabbed my arm.
"(Y/n)." She said.
"What?" I asked.
Bella gestured her head towards the side of the school and I looked over to see what she was seeing. I of course, could hear Emmett huff behind me.
"Could you listen to me just once?" Emmett muttered. I ignored him and I began to walk towards the person clearly waiting for us.
"Of course not..." Edward chuckles lightly, only to earn a glare from his brother.
There he stood, eyes narrowed on both Cullen boys. Jacob Black, wearing jeans, a tight black tee-shirt, and his hair wet from the drizzle of rain. I walked towards him and he walked over towards us, meeting in the middle of the lot.
"Hi." I gave him a questioning look.
"Charlie said you left town." He replied plainly. I rolled my eyes.
"Yes, Jacob. To go visit our mom. Why?" I asked him rather annoyed. Edward chuckled from behind me. I turned to look at him and Emmett standing there. Bella stood up beside me.
"He's checking to see if you're still human." Edward stated with a smile.
"Stay out of my head." Jacob growled. "I'm here to warn you."
Both Emmett and Edward scoffed. Emmett crossed his arms and stood up in a intimidating manner. Making himself appear bigger than he already was.
"If your kind come on our land again..." Jacob threatened.
"Wait, what?" I stepped forward towards Jacob and turned to look between them. Edward and Emmett look pissed, Bella looked completely confused like me, and Jacob almost looked amused.
"You didn't tell her?" He looked at Emmett and glared.
"Just leave it alone, Jacob." Emmett gritted his teeth.
"Tell her what?" Bella looked to Edward confused.
"Henry and Paul had a misunderstanding. It's nothing to worry about." Edward tried to play it off, shaking his head.
"Listen to you." Jacob scoffed. "Let me guess, you both lied to get them out of town, too?"
"You should just leave." Emmett stood in front of Jacob getting into his face. Edward right behind him.
"Now." Edwards finished for him.
"She has a right to know. They both do. They're the ones the red head wants." Jacob snidely commented, not backing down.
"Victoria?" Bella questioned looking to Edward who looked down to the ground to avoid her gaze.
"Alice's vision." I said with sudden realization.
"We were trying to protect you." Emmett told me. He took a step forward towards me but I stepped back astounded.
"By lying to us... Again." My voice laced with disappointment. "We don't do that to each other..."
"(Y/n)." Emmett tried calling out to me. But I quickly shut him down.
"No, okay. We are going to talk about this, but... you." I turned my attention back towards Jacob angrily. "Why haven't you called me back?"
He furrowed his brows.
"I had nothing to say." Jacob began to walk away.
"Well I have tons! So, hold on." I walked to follow him but an arm stopped me. I turned to see the gloomy face of Emmett.
"(Y/n)..."
"Maybe this isn't a good idea." Bella pitched in stepping up beside him.
"I need you both to trust me." I told them. My voice coming out soft, almost as a whisper.
"I do trust you. It's him I don't trust." Emmett stroked my cheek softly and I leaned into his touch.

"I Love you. I will be back." I whispered softly. I turned on my heel, walking to Jacob who had climbed onto his bike and waited.
"Wipe the grin off your face, Jake. We are just going for a ride." I rolled my eyes and put his helmet onto my own head.
"Hold on tight." Jacob's grin didn't falter, specially as I wrapped my hand's around his waist.
We pulled out of the school parking lot going for a ride.
"I really don't like him. His mind is way too loud." Edward said as the three headed into the school.
"Thanks, man. That comforting." Emmett rolled his eyes and Bella rubbed his arm comfortingly.
We rode through Forks and out onto the reservation. Taking a familiar turn onto a long dirt road that I haven't been on since before Emmett came back.
"Are you sure this is a good idea? I am the Vampire girl, remember?" I looked to Jacob quizzically and he just smiled at me with a roll of his eyes.
The sudden loud sound of hooting and hollaring escaped into the yard, from out of Sam and Emily's home. Quil, Jared, Embry, and Paul exited the house and greeted me with large smiles.
"Look who's back!" Embry laughed, pulling me into a quick hug.
"What's up, (Y/n)?" Quil said in his usual flirty tone.
"Quil? You, too?" I looked at the boy who was apparently newest member of the tribe.
"Yep. Finally made the pack." He responded making all the boys chuckle in response.
"I'm glad you're here, (Y/n)." Embry said. "Maybe we can get a break from Jake's obsessive inner monologue."
"I wish (Y/n) would call!" Paul joked pushing Jake's shoulder.
"I wish (Y/n) wouldn't call!" Jared laughed with a mouth full of chicken leg. I scrunched my face and giggled. I look over to see Jacob who was obviously flustered and embarrassed.
"Maybe I should call, (Y/n)!" Embry mocked.
"Maybe I should call (Y/n) and hang up!" Quil joined in on the pestering.
All the boys laughed loudly and I couldn't help but snicker. Jacob looked at me with a grin before turning his attention back to the boys.
"Okay, you can all shut up now."
A girl I haven't seen in ages walked out of the house, wearing the same tattoo as all the boys.
"(Y/n), I'm sure you remember Leah Clearwater, Harry's daughter." Jacob said.
"Hey, yeah. It's been a while. I'm really sorry about your father." I told her sympathetically. She only shot me a glare.
"If you're only here to torture Jacob some more, feel free to leave." She said bitterly and walked away. I looked up at Jake confused. We were friends once upon a time.
"Fun isn't she?" Jacob remarked.
"(Y/n), hi!" Emily greeted me happily as she made her way towards me.
"Hi, Emily." I smiled brightly at her as she gave me a hug.
"I was wondering when we'd see your face around here again."
"Yeah, me too." I laughed.
"Sam, we good?" Jacob asked him as he came from the house and stood next to Emily.
"Yeah, we're good." Sam smiled and wrapped an arm around Emily lovingly. "She won't be getting though our lines any time soon."
All the boys grinned and talked happily amongst themselves at the fact and hopped off into the woods shifting and going for a run. Jacob and I headed over to Billy's to hang out and talk.
"So when did Leah join the pack?" I asked him.
"Around when her dad died. Her little brother Seth. Remember him? He also phased. He's only 15, youngest we've had. Sam likes to keep him home studying, but he's just chomping at the bit."
"I can only imagine." I chuckled at the thought of sweet little Seth Clearwater being told to stay home. Always wanting to come out and be with the bigs kids.
"I wish it was Leah who would stay home though." Jacob said with a sigh.
"What? Come on, don't be such a guy." I laughed and nudged his shoulder. He grinned back at me.
"No, it's not a chick thing. It's a, you know, a triangle thing. We all have to live the Leah/Sam/Emily pain fest. Wolf telepathy, remember?"
"So, did Sam dump Leah for Emily?" I asked curiously.
"Yeah, it's wasn't like that, though. Sam hates himself for hurting Leah and causing a rift between her and Emily. They're cousins. But Emily was the one." Jake explained.
"I mean, I guess it sort of chooses you sometimes." I looked down to the ground as we continued walking.
"It's more than just some sort of crush, (Y/n). Sam imprinted on Emily."
"What does that even mean?" I furrowed my brows and looked at Jacob.
"Come on." He gestured and we walked into the garage, both taking a seat. He took a deep breath and began to explain. "Imprinting on someone is like, like when you see her, everything changes. All of a sudden, it's not gravity holding you to the planet. It's her." His eyes gazed into mine. "Nothing else matters. You would do anything, be anything for her."
"Seems like you must know the feeling..." I looked sadly at his face and he looked down to the ground. "Have you imprinted on someone?" I asked slowly.
"You'd know if I had..." He picked up a wrench and twirled it about in his hands. "I just have a direct line to Sam's thoughts." He explained to me quietly.
"So for now, you're still you?" I tilted my head to get a better look at his face. He saw me and gave a weak smile.
"And you're still you."
"Yep..." I sighed knowing I have to tell him eventually. "At least until after graduation..."
Jacob's head snapped up and he looked at me.
"Graduation?"
"Yeah..." I cringed a bit at his tone.
"In a month? I mean, not before you've...you've even had the chance to live. Or before I could..." In a fit of anger he threw the wrench across the room, startling me. He walked away for a minute, fingers running through his short black hair. "For a second, just a second, (Y/n), I thought. But he's got his hooks in you so deep." Jacob growled.
"This wasn't anyone else's decision except my own, Jacob." I said softly trying to explain myself.
"(Y/n), they're not even alive. It makes me sick." He spat. I looked at him and he glared at me with so much anger in his eyes. "Better you really be dead than one of them."
"You're a jerk, Jacob. I can't believe you said that. Emmett was right, I shouldn't have come." I said angrily as I walked by and headed out the door.
Jacob's face had filled with guilt the moment those words left his mouth.
"Wait, (Y/n/n). Come on, please. I'm sorry." He called out after me.
