《Our Eternity : Emmett Cullen x Reader》The Decision

Being it was a long journey Bella and I both went straight to bed when we reached home. After being scolded and punished by our father of course.
I woke up in the early morning from a nightmare. It was a mixture of the screams of those people, the night Emmett left, the night he returned but it was as if it was all some crazy dream. I woke up in a cold sweat and looked around my room, only to be turned over by a large hand. Emmett. There he was laying in my bed just like old times as if he had never spent anytime away from me.
"I thought, I'd wake up to find out it was just a dream." I mumbled into his chest gripping his shirt tightly.
"I'm here. I'm real. I won't be going anywhere." He ran his hand's through my hair and held me closely to him. "I meant what I said."
Bella suddenly walked into my room.
"You're coming with me, get dressed now." She said sternly.
I looked at Emmett curiously and he looked back at me just as confused. We skipped off, out of the house unnoticed by our Dad who had grounded us both when we got home, for skipping town like we did. Bella wanted us all to gather at the Cullen's house for something.
"Oh, (Y/n). I missed you." Rosalie said as I walked through the door. She gathered me into a big hug. "Emmett was a mess without you, I hope you know that. I hope you know we didn't want to go..."
"It's okay, Rosalie. I know, he explained it. I don't blame anyone for it." She nodded and walked away.
"You were a mess without me?" I teased Emmett, as we entered farther into the house, which I'd missed so very much.
"Hey, what can I say. You're my forever." He shrugged and picked me up with a mischievous grin, throwing me over his shoulder.
"Emmett!" I squealed.
"Okay, enough you. Put my sister-in-law down, so I can hug her." Henry teased from across the living room. Emmett lightly put me on my feet for barely two second's before I was scooped up again.
"Hi, Henry. I missed your bright personality and your face!" I laughed as we hugged.
"Ah, I missed your bubbly personality and presence around here." He grinned setting me on my feet.
"(Y/n), it's so wonderful to see you, sweetheart." Esme said, hugging Carlisle's waist with one arm as the pair walked over to us.
"Esme, Carlisle. I'm so happy to see you both again." They engulfed me in a hug together. I was feeling very much love in this moment, more than I had since the moment they all left.
"All right, so what's this little gathering about?" Rosalie asked as Bella and Edward walked into the room. Each set of couples stood by their respective partner.

"Okay. I called you all here to talk. You all know what I want. And I know how much I'm asking for. The only thing I can think of for it to be fair is to just vote." Bella spoke to the group of us.
"You don't know what you're talking about." Edward said quietly, a small distance away from Bella.
I gathered they must have had an argument over her decision again already. Even though they've only been together for two days.
"Shut up." Bella said to him slowly, while shaking her head. "Alice?" Bella turned her attention to her.
"I already consider you my sister." She walked towards Bella and hugged her. "Yes."
"Thank you." Bella nodded happily at her.
"I vote yes." Jasper said quietly keeping a distance, but having a smile on his face. "It would be nice to not want to kill you all the time."
Emmett and I chuckled at his reasoning. Bella looked uncomfortable but grateful and nodded.
"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry for how I acted and I'm really grateful that you were brave enough to go and save my brother. But this, this isn't a life I would have chosen for myself, and I wish that there had been someone to vote no for me. So, no." Rosalie spoke from her heart.
I was forever grateful that she had gotten at least somewhat over her dislike for my sister.
"I vote, hell yeah!" Henry shouted and lifted Bella into a spinning hug. "We can pick a fight with these Volturi some other way." He grinned widely at her and Bella smiled back gratefully.
"You know our vote." Emmett grinned at her and the two of them hugged happily. I couldn't tell you how much it warmed my heart to see my boyfriend and sister so close.
"I love you and support you in whatever you chose." I hugged her tightly and we both laughed.
"I already consider you apart of the family. Yes." Esme sweetly agreed. Carlisle walked forward and looked towards Edward who was brooding away from the rest of us.
"Why are you doing this too me?" Edward said to him plainly. "You know what this means."
"You've chosen not to live without her, which leaves me with no choice. I won't lose my son." Carlisle said to him. Suddenly the room looked at me. "What is your decision, (Y/n)."
"From the moment I knew what Emmett was. The thought of changing had never appealed to me, as much as it did for my sister. I thought it was possible to stay human and live this type of life. Even after the events with James last year, I never faltered in my decision. I know exactly what I'd be losing if I chose the latter. I'm still not entirely sure, I can live with that. But one thing I am absolutely sure about is the love I have for Emmett." I turned to him and he placed his hands on my hips. "If changing is what it takes to spend my eternity with you, then I'll do it. I can't lose you again. I still would appreciate it to be on my terms. But I would do anything to keep this family safe, especially after these events with the Volturi."

"I plan on loving you for Eternity."
"I will love you for Eternity too."
The decision had been made. Bella and I would become Vampires. Bella came up with the brilliant idea that we should do it sometime after graduation. We'd be able to use the excuse of college to change, without alarming Charlie or Renee too much with our absence.
Emmett and I were driving home in the truck one day when he had come to a sudden stop. There stood Jacob Black, in the center of the road. Shirtless. Anger rolling off of him in waves. He motioned for us to follow him into the woods. Both of us climbed out and followed. I knew this time it was going to be a lot harder to hold Emmett back.
"So, I see you're still alive for now." He snarled. The comment was aimed at me, the anger aimed at Emmett.
"Jacob, I know you have something to say to me." Emmett gruffly said back. "But there is something I need to tell you first." He stepped forward slightly, and looked at Jacob. "Thank you." His word's surprised me.
"What?" Jacob scoffed angrily.
"Thank you for keeping, (Y/n), alive, safe, and cared for when I didn't." Emmett's voice soft and meaningful. I was taken aback at what he'd said. I honestly expected some big brawl between the two.
"No. You didn't. Believe me, it wasn't for your benefit either. You stomped all over her heart, left her broken. I had begun to pick up the pieces..." Jacob said.
"I'm still grateful." Emmett cut him off softly. "But I'm here now, and I'm not going to leave her side until she orders me away." Emmett got slightly more defensive.
"We'll see." Jacob rolled his eyes. Emmett came back to my side trying to walk us away. "Hey. It's my turn to talk. I'm here to remind you about a key point in our treaty."
"We haven't forgotten." Emmett huffed and rolled his eyes.
"What key point?" I looked between the two curiously.
"If any of them bites a human, the truce is over." Jacob looked at me with a serious expression.
"If the choice is made because I choose it then it has nothing to do with you." I shook my head at him.
"No. No, I won't let you. You're not going to be one of them, (Y/n). Bella falls under that same jurisdiction as well."
"Her decision is not up to you and neither is mine." I crossed my arms and glared at him.
Always so possessive and trying to tell me what to do.
"You know what we'll do to you. I won't have a choice." His brown eyes looked at me pleadingly.
"Let's go." Emmett whispered tugging my arm slightly.
"I'll be fine." I assured him and walk towards Jacob. "Jake, I love you. But you can't ask me to choose, because it'll be him. It's always been him." We looked into each other's eye's sadly. I began to turn around.
"(Y/n)." Jake whispered softly.
Emmett walked up beside me and grabbed my arm gently pulling me towards him.
"Good-bye Jacob. She's made her choice." Emmett turned to walk away but Jacob stepped forward, roughly grabbing his arm.
"No, you don't get to speak for her!" Jacob snarled. Emmett body checked him and sent Jacob flying backwards. Mid air Jacob shifted and landed on the forest floor on four feet instead of two.
"(Y/n), get out of here. Now." Emmett pushed me towards to edge of the forest. Jacob came charging towards him, but I jumped in front of Emmett. Standing firmly between the two.
"STOP!" I shouted glaring between the two. Jacob skid to a stop and Emmett relaxed from his fighting stance. "You can't hurt each other without hurting me." Jacob looked at me with his large brown wolfy eyes. His large head shook back and forth and he backed down. Quickly turning and running into the forest.
I watched sadly as he ran away from view. Emmett walked closer and wrapped his arms comfortingly around me. Placing loving kisses over my head and face.
"You don't have to do this you know." He whispered quietly as we walked back to the truck.
"Yes, I do. I want you. I want you, forever. In order to have that I have to change and I'm okay with that now. I just hope that you'll be the one to do it."
"That's a pretty tall order, short stack." He joked as we climbed into the truck.
"I know. I just hoped maybe you would." I shrugged climbing in next to him.
"I don't think it would be right if it was anyone else except me." He chuckled.
"Well, I don't want to make you uncomfortable in anyway." I put my hands on his cheeks and looked into his eyes.
"You're forever putting me first and I love that about you. But being around you doesn't make me uncomfortable anymore. I'll do it." He kissed my lips and we drove off back to my house.
