Ozuna's 'Única' blasted through the speakers and I was just dancing outside with the crowd of people enjoying the vibe. And felt someone up behind me. I turned around to make sure I was grinding on the right person and I was. Santiago had a sly smile on his face and enjoyed his dance.

"Hey can I barrow her for a minute?",ebony said to Santiago. I didn't know what them two had going on but tonight was not the night for any surprises. This girl been staring at me all night and how ever many times I try to avoid her, she keeps tryna talk to me.

"I'll catch up with you later babe",Santiago said and kissed me on the lips.

"Be nice",he mouthed as he walked away.

"Hey",Ebony said. I crossed my arms and said, "I know you didn't come here just to say hi."

"I didn't. I just wanted to talk to you and apologize again for what I did."

"Remind me What you did again cause I don't remember",I said being petty.

"Im sorry for dating Trey behind your back. I know that was against girl code."

"You know what's worse tho? Every time him and I had issues, I came to YOU to talk about it. What you did was dirty ebony and now I can't trust you."

"And i understand that. I'm not asking you to trust me but i want you to at least accept my apology. That's all I want. I'm not asking more from you yet."

"Yet? Did you think you apologizing was just gonna let you into my life again?",I said laughing.

"No but it would be a start",she said.

"Alright I accept your apology only because I got a new man now."

"So your really over him foreal?",she said surprised. I don't know why tho.

"Trey wasn't any good for me and if you were my real friend, you'd be happy that I left him."

"It's just that he's still not over you."

"Well that sucks for him now doesn't it?",I said walking away.

"Anyways i didn't come to talk about him",she said.

"You sure about that?",I asked.

"Yeah I just want you back as a friend. I don't have another friend that could replace you Khia. You my girl."

"I know I'm irreplaceable....but you are too. You blow my phone up daily more than Santiago does",I said chuckling and she laughed too.

"How are you guys anyways?"

"We're good."

"He told me about the restaurant."

"Yeah It's under construction now."

"And what about the case?"

I nearly spit my drink out when I heard her say that. Apparently she's been up to date with my life while I know nothing about hers.

"I don't want to talk about that."

"Well I'm happy your sending him to court. He deserves to be in jail for life for what he did to you."

I nodded and kept drinking. Ebony was one of the few people I told about my dad molesting me when we were friends. It just dawned on me that this girl knows everything there is to know about me. She even knows more than Trey and Trey and I go way back.

"Y'all ain't killed each other yet so I'm guessing the night is goin great huh?",a y'all caramel skin toned guy said walking past us.

"And you are?",i said.

"Marcus. Thought we met pretty lady. I'm tiago's homie",he said shaking my hand.

"Oh okay. So why you not with him?"

"He told me to check up on y'all two. What's your name?",he said to Ebony. I sipped on my drink and smiled cause ebony was gettin some play right now and I just had to watch this.

"Ebony. Nice to meet you."

I got up and let Ebony enjoy herself with Mr. Marcus while I went to find tiago.

I found him in the back yard helping his dad prepare the fireworks. I hugged him from behind feeling his muscular arms.

"Hola bebé",i said to him.

"Hola corazón. Where's Marcus?"

"He's flirting with ebony."

"You've got to be kiddin me. I sent him to check on y'all. This dude",he said laughing.

"He better not play my girl."

"Your girl? Oh so y'all cool now?",he said with a smirk.

"Thank you Santiago",he said in a mocking way.

"Thank you Santiago",I said pulling him close for a kiss. I watched as he finished helping his dad. He pulled me close to him.

"You ever watched fireworks up close?",he asked me.

"No so I'm kind scared right now."

"Don't be",he said with a smile. His confidence had me feeling so into him. He placed the firework on the floor and sparked it. He took my hand and held me back so we wouldn't get hurt.

"This one's for you",he said looking into my eyes. I watched as the fireworks went off with all red sparks in the dark night sky. The wind blew and the full moon shined.

"I love you",i told him.

"Te amo mucho bebé",he said kissing me on the lips. I locked lips with him and went for his tongue. The song 'la modelo' came on and I tuned it out while enjoying Santiago's plump lips on mine.
