It's been couple of weeks since my fight with the cat trey and not that I was stressing it but dude got me appearing in court. His pussy behind went to the courts with it and I'm not with it. I had to get myself a lawyer cause he ain't bout to get a dime outta me.

"Hi how can I help you?",the front desk clerk asked me.

"I need the best lawyer you got in this firm."

"Sure. What is your name?"

"Santiago Rodríguez."

"Okay Have a seat while I set up an appointment to see a lawyer."

"The best not just a lawyer",I reiterated to her. She smiled and said, "definitely. I will set you up with the best one."

"Ight."

A couple mins later the middle age lady came to me and led me into a office.

"Mr. Bradshaw. This is Mr. Rodriguez",she introduced. The guy didn't even look up from his files he was reading and asked me to have a seat in his office. He looked familiar but I couldn't tell who he was because his head was so into those files he was reading. He put the files down and looked up and I quickly recognized who this was.

"Oh hell nah",I expressed.

"Did Khia fail to mention my occupation?",he said taking his glasses off.

"Ma'am I asked for the best. Not the worst maybe i didn't make myself clear",I said to the lady. Trey smirked and said, "how's my baby Khia doin?"

That got my blood boiling and I stepped to him causing him to stand up from his desk. "What punk?",Trey said.

"Who the punk? You wanna handle this like grown men and take it outside or you gonna go runnin to the courts again?"

"Little cats like you always wanna fight out in the streets. I handle my business with the law. Get this lil boy out my office." I just wanted one hit and I'd be satisfied but the lady held my hands and escorted me out. Trey was a definition of a real pussy and couldn't step to me but I got somethin for him. Soon as I drove home heated as hell, I called Khia to tell her what happened.

"You went to his workplace to fight him?"

"No Khia. I went to get myself a lawyer."

"But his law firm out of all law firms that exist?"

The more I tried to explain myself, I could feel myself getting mad because it seemed like khia was on his side and I couldn't figure out why.

"You still seeing this dude?",I asked her.

"No."

"You lying to me?"

"No I'm not lyin."

"So why you siding with him? Your loyalty supposed to be with me."

"I'm not. I'm just saying that's unprofessional and then you tried to fight him again at his job."

"Yea ight. I can't trust a thing you sayin right now to be honest. I don't get why you care about him so much almost more than me."

"He was my best friend for years Santiago of course I'm still gonna care."

"He not yo best friend no more. I'm your best friend now and your boyfriend."

"Your tryin to be funny right now and I'm not with it."

"Actin like you into me but you still got feelings for this pussy nigga is somethin I ain't with."

"I am into you otherwise I wouldn't even be your girlfriend right now. What are you sayin tiago?"

"You still messin with this dude."

"I don't have time for your insecurities right now. I have a test to study for."

"My insecurities? Khia i had no insecurities before I met you. You made me insecure when you cheated. You ain't gonna play me with your antics. If I find out you messin with trey, it's a wrap for us. Obviously you still havin a rough time deciding who you wanna be with and I'm bout to make it real simple for you",i said through the phone and hung up throwing my phone on the carpet floor. Khia was not gonna be another problem that I was gonna deal with. I ain't dealin with her until I'm ready to.

At school I made it a habit of avoiding Khia but I guess today that plan wasn't gonna work because as soon as class was out, she stood by the door waiting on me with her hand on her hip holding her books at the same time. I looked at her and smirked.

"You walk away from me and I'll walk away from this relationship and never look back. Try me",she said causing Juan to laugh.

"Oooh you better go talk to her man. Happy wife happy life. Catch you later",he said patting my shoulder and leaving.

"Wasup?",I said walking her to the other side of the hall away from everyone coming out and students going in the classroom.

"You know wasup. Why are you avoiding me?"

"Khia today's not the day",I said looking at the ceiling.

"When is it gonna be the day tiago? What you want me to do? Say sorry? Ok fine I'm sorry. I hate when you ignore me."

"I hate when you don't know what you want."

"I want you."

"I don't believe that. My gut says otherwise. And I'm not gonna force you to be into me and give me your all when I'm pouring my all."

"But Im here. I'm your girl."

"That don't mean nothing if I don't feel like your truly mine. I'm tired of having this conversation Khia."

"So that's it? We're breaking up?"

"I don't know. Haven't made a decision. I'll hit you up when I have",i said walking away from her. But she grabbed my arm and pushed me against the wall and kissed me. This kiss wasn't forced like the other times and I was convinced she wasn't tryna have me leave her.

"Get a room",a girl walking by said. We both looked at each other and I kissed her again. It quickly turned into a make-out session in the hallway.

"Made a decision yet?",Khia said looking into my eyes and running her fingers through my hair.

"Yea",i said. I kissed her one last time and let this one mean that I'm keeping her.
