Mr rogers and I had become really close friends, I spent most of the times in his office chatting with him and I even showed him the way to my house which was quite rare for me, after the incident with andrea I hardly made friends except jasmine of course, the other staff members had noticed that I and mr rogers had become really close so they had formed groups to gossip about me...but well who cares....

"Are you and mr rogers going out" jasmine asked me as I kept texting him on my phone, I kept smiling without realizing and Jasmine had been looking at me for quite a while so she decided to take a peek at what I was doing....

"What are you talking about....why would me and daniel be going out"I replied after noticing she was beside me...I quickly switched off my phone and changed my facial expression.

"You even call him daniel now... You aren't even scared of him again?"

"We are just friends Jasmine ....Friends!!" I replied emphasizing on the words 'friends'..

"Well be careful ....I really don't want you to get hurt again . It took you quite a while for you to trust me when we became friends but within a month and you are already so close to Mr rogers. Anne we have five months more as temporary staffs...please don't get hurt within those five months." she sounded really concerned .....She was right though,I had trust issues ever since what Andrea had done to me....Even when I met Jasmine I had always suspected her for everything, we both worked at the same part time jobs before we were accepted at the company as temporary staffs....I stopped suspecting her for everything when she had stopped my brother from committing suicide.

My brother was really frustrated because his classmates kept calling him names because of what happened to our parents, so he had decided to commit suicide but jasmine stopped him. I sincerely dont know what I would have done if he had died.....ever since that day I and Jasmine became true friends so that was why it was weird that I was soo close to mr rogers within a month when it took me two years to get close to jasmine.

" Trust me Mr rogers is not a bad person. I had told him about the situation with Andrea and he sincerely felt bad for me...He promised not to break my trust too"

"Ok ...whatever you say" she replied rolling her eye as she put her lollipop back in her mouth, it was an unbreakable habit for her to always have a lollipop with her. I always wondered how she managed to keep those healthy set of teeth despite all the unhealthy amount of times she takes sweets and lollipops.

B"Any way emma is envious of you, she thinks you and Mr rogers are dating and she also thinks it's you they would pick as the permanent staff...I saw her trying to put something in your coffee this morning...its a good thing you didn't drink it. Just be careful anne." She finally said.

I invited daniel to my house on a Saturday... That would be the first he would be coming over to my house ever since we became friends..so I had to put everything in order...

"Who on earth is coming over?? You don't even arrange the house this way when Jasmine comes here" henry said as he watched me dust the couch.

"Its one of my friends....do you really expect me to have only one friend...I am not a loner...I have to increase my friendship circle, right??" Just when I was expecting a reply from Henry the door bell rang. I went over to open the door and of course it was daniel by the door,he wore a casual clothes more like a tracksuit with palms on, his hair was styled more differently than it used to be on work days. That was the first time I would see him dress so casually.

"Hi...come in"I said as I gestured for him to come in

"I love your outfit"I commented as he entered into the house .... He looked good in almost everything he wore.

"I like yours too but are you going on a date today"he asked as he kept inspecting our house. Trust me when I say I was embarrassed, I had dressed up for his arrival even more than I did when I was going to work..

"What on earth are you talking about..can't I look good in my house?"I replied really embarrassed and tried to avoid his eye contact..

"Are you my sisters boyfriend" Henry asked bluntly, he had been listening to us for quite a while and decided to interrupt as he walked over to where daniel was standing..

"Oh he is my boss and most importantly we are just friends"I said as I nugged henry to keep quiet and kept communicating with him with my eyes.

"Daniel meet my brother henry and henry this is my boss ,daniel" i had to do the introduction since I was the one who knew both of them

"Hey....little one"daniel said as he stretched his hands for an handshake..

"I'm not little....am sixteen" henry replied and pushed daniel's hands away...

"Henry!!!"I yelled sending him a death glare.

"Listen if you want to date my sister, you would have to pass through me first" henry said ignoring my glare as he walked away, I sincerely doubt if anyone would be threatened by that.

As usual his overprotective mode brother had been switched on, even if he was just a teenager he has been the one who chased all the guys away from me ever since he was in elementary school that was why I never had a boyfriend and only went on blind dates.

"Don't listen to him"

"I like your brother" daniel replied with amusement written all over his face as he watched henry go to his room.

I don't know how it happened ...but daniel and henry got really close. It was more like Daniel had come to visit henry...They kept on playing games throughout and that was sincerely the first time I would see henry get close to my guy friend. They even went out without me and he had bought a lot of things for henry, it was already late in the night so Daniel had to go and I decided to escort him out.

"Did you come to visit me or my brother" I asked as we walked out of the house and the frogs kept croaking in a sonorous manner.

"Your brother of course....he is really fun to be with, you are no fun at all anne"he replied with a mocking voice.

"Quit with your teasing" I said and paused.

"but this will sincerely be the first time I would see henry get along with my guy friend, he has been the one preventing me from having a boy friend"

"I have something to tell you anne" daniel said and stopped walking midway across the street

"Yeah...you can tell me anything". I had stopped walking with him too

"I like you a lot anne...I didn't know how to express myself but I really do love you...you are a girl with a great personality and you are drop dead gorgeous too..it would be almost impossible not to have feelings for someone like you."

I felt like my heart was going to stop beating, I didn't know what to say I just paused as he kept moving closer to me. He pulled me by my waist and pushed a stray hair behind my ear with his fingers has he slowly brought his lips closer and kissed me passionately , I felt his plump lips across mine and his breath were like fresh mint....I just froze on the spot, it was like my heart was about to explode,i kept my eyes wide open in shock and i could hardly breath, i just kept staring into the thin air behind him, we were like that for like a minute..

"I really don't want to pressure you on giving me a reply but you can reply me when you feel comfortable" he said as he kept staring at me intensely, he finally let go of me and walked away.

I felt dumbfounded and just watched him walk away...I had to process what had just happened, I kept on thinking about it as I silently walked back home amidst the street light.

I had gotten home and I saw henry sitting on the sofa so I decided to act like nothing happened.

"So...what do you think about daniel?"I asked trying to discard my thoughts. Henry didn't reply me, it was as if he was trying to use his eyes to tell me something but I couldn't understand.

"Wassup bozo" I heard someone say from the dining, it was definitely not jasmines voice, and I never invited anyone over except for daniel so I went over to the dinning to see who it was..the persons face looked so familiar but I couldn't recollect where we had met.

"Its me....Andrea" she said as she walked over to me. Andrea was back?? She had long black hair and wore a black short gown with a white long jacket which had some kind of design on it, her heels were so high that I felt so small at her front,she had a foxy make up on ,she looked so expensive but she still had the same eyes of the day that I went to confront her at school, she had that same straight face of then...it had been seven years now but I could still feel the anger rise up in me...my eyes became teary for reasons I didn't understand.

"just like your mother, you are a such a slut ,wasn't it enough that you went to put on a strip show now you want to seduce my fiance.....You haven't changed a bit from before, you loser" she said as she kept moving closer to me and swinging her hips in an elegant manner...I felt so intimidated has she kept moving closer to me...

I didn't have any idea of what she was talking about...why on earth would I seduce a fiance that I didn't know? And how did she find out about the strip show??

"Why would I have something to do with your fiance" I replied as I tried my possible best not to act intimidated.

"Daniel...Daniel Rogers is my fiance dumbass" she said as she poked my shoulder with the tip of her index finger.
