Combining both working in the company and as ballet trainer was sincerely one of the hardest things to do. The staffs had resumed to sending me errands...the money I needed wasn't forth coming...I had to run all the errands because I really needed the tips they usually gave to me.....Our company had reduced the salary of all staff workers including that of the junior temporary workers, on the grounds that the company was going through a difficult time and was at the risk of losing it all except they sacked some of the staffs, no body wanted to be sacked so we settled for less even if it was uncomfortable for us especially for me. I didn't also want to take a loan from the bank because I wasn't sure on how I was going to pay back considering the situation of everything, I also couldn't allow our house to be used as collateral if ever I was to take a loan because if I didn't pay back on time both me and my brother would end up in the streets.

Our CEO, Mr robert had fallen seriously ill, I really didn't like Mr Robert because he was more of a womanizer than a CEO...I remembered coming to the company for the first time...Mr robert kept treating me like a queen, buying me stuffs ..it was kind of weird because he was old enough to be my father . He was in his early sixties, but I brushed it off thinking he saw me as a daughter, maybe just maybe he saw me as a daughter,I always thought to myself. I had gotten early to office one morning ...Mr Robert had invited me to his office and shut the door behind him.

"Anne, you are really beautiful"he said calmly as he gestured for me to sit on the couch in his office

"Thank you sir, you are handsome too"I replied with a smile...then he began to walk slowly to the couch

"I really love you anne, I sincerely do"he said as he sat on the couch beside me and began to move closer to me making me feel extremely uncomfortable but I decided not to react as I might just be overthinking things...he brushed through my hair with his fingers and was about to kiss me as he kept caressing my thighs...

"Mr Robert! ...what are you doing?? " I yelled as I jumped out of the couch..

"I want you anne...I promise I would take care of you and make you a permanent staff"

"Excuse me.....u are old enough to be my father ,so the only reason you have being nice to me was because u wanted to sleep with me"I retorted

"Do you think you are any better than your mother....oh please don't try to play innocent here"

"What does my mother got to do with this....and you think bringing my mother up would make me change my mind???"I smirked and stormed out of his office in utter disbelief that he had to bring up my mother, well my parents were quite popular in the business world so their story kind of blew out of proportion.

I knew after that incident that I might never become a permanent staff ...we hardly talked after that I was just really grateful that he didn't sack me because I had a two year contract with the company. It was not long after that, that Mr robert picked interest in another junior temporary rookie staff, Emma, Emma was a staff like me but it was most likely she was the one to be picked as a permanent staff...seeing how close she was to Mr robert and how all the other staff members treated her like a queen unlike me the errand girl....although I felt bad that I might not end up as a permanent staff, I felt no remorse in turning Mr robert down because I surely didn't want to end up like my mother.

Things got pretty worse for our company due to Mr robert's deteriorating health, they had to start sacking staff members with no changes made to our salaries, Mr roberts condition became more worse that he was bed ridden, I had started having the thoughts of looking for another part time job even though I had two jobs already. Mr donald was clearly getting soo impatient about his car and I needed back my necklace from that guy...

"Why on earth are things so hard" I sighed heavily. Just then I heard two women gossiping about mr robert selling the company to another person.

"Anne,we would be having a new CEO"Jasmine announced as she rushed towards me carrying a carton of documents, jasmine was also a junior temporary staff like me and was the closest person to me in the whole of sheriff company.

"What are you talking about"I replied as I carried my own carton ,it was obvious she was going to the store room so I tagged along with my own carton of documents.

"Mr robert came down with a stroke so he sold his company to another guy...I think he should be having his inauguration ceremony next week"

"That really does not change anything, who knows if he might be worse than Mr robert" i replied as we both dropped our cartons on the shelf of the store room.

"Don't be such a pessimist Anne...we should try to be hopeful at least"

"And don't be such an optimist too"I replied as we both walked out of the store room.

It was no longer news that Mr robert sold the company and there would be a new owner, the inauguration ceremony was coming up and we the junior temporary staff had to take care of his office for his arrival..

The morning of the inauguration ceremony came and all staff members were invited to the hall to hear the new CEO give his speech.

"Hi am Daniel Rogers...you might feel i'm too young to be a CEO but I do assure y'all that I would make this company better than it used to be, I would start by stabilizing your salaries first...Mr robert had briefed me about what this company is going through..so I assure you that I would make amendments where need be....i'm not really good at long speeches so I guess that should be all". The voice sounded hella familiar so I wanted to take a proper glimpse at his face because I was at the back of the hall and I couldn't see properly , i moved a bit forward just to see his face.

It was him, the guy I hit with the car, he was the new CEO, I covered my mouth in shock still trying to process this new information amidst people cheering for him....

"I am so done for" I whispered to myself...this was going to be a whole new chapter.
