Who are you calling a demon, you mutt? Zev said with a chuckle. Both of you shut up before I lose my shit. I growled at them both, while they scoffed at me. For those of you who don't know, I'm a hybrid, half demon, half wolf. I love my counterpartrs but sometimes they just drive me nuts.

Rage quickly filled me as Jake continued to disrespect my mate. "Come on let's go." A soft voice called out to me as sparks began to shoot up my arm. Slowly I began to calm down as I looked at Jake with a glare.

"I can't believe the Alpha King is letting a runt give him orders." I chuckled lowly as I smirked at Jake. "From this day forward the peace treaty that was formed between the Blood Moon Pack and the Crescent Moon Pack is no longer valid. Prepare for war Alpha Jake since you were so bold to disrespect my mate."

The blood drained from Jake's face as he scrambled to his feet. "Are you really going to break the treaty for a measly whore?" Jake turned red with anger as he took a step towards us. "I would watch your mouth if I were you. I could wipe out your whole pack myself." I growled at him, Zev tried to take over but I pushed him back.

I can handle it. I said as the sparks suddenly stopped. I felt the fear rolling off my mate in waves. I looked at her, a shiver went down my spine. Is she really afraid of me? "It's okay, I would never hurt you il mio amore." I said softly as I pulled her into my side.

I pulled Allison out of the office, leaving a shaken Jake behind. When we got to the front door, Nick was standing there with a few bags packed. I frowned, is that all my mate has? I made a mental note to take her shopping.

"What happened back there William?" Nick asked with a concerted look on his face. "Your father disrespected my mate. I voided our peace treaty so we are enemies from this point on. You know you can come with us, I'm still looking for a trustworthy Beta." I told him as his face contorted in anger.

"That fucking bastard. You can go, I'll follow you to your pack after I pack my things. Take care of her William, I mean it." Nick said with an unknown glint in his eyes. I nodded at him as I put my mate's things in my car.

"Let's go love." I said as I opened the door for her. She looked at Nick with concern. "Please don't be reckless Nick." She said with a hard look as she got into the car. Nick smiled as he turned and went into the pack house. I sighed as I got into the car and drove off.

When we arrived at our pack house Allison was looking at the house in awe. I smiled and got out and walked to her side of the car and opened the door.

"After you my fair lady." I said in a fake posh accent. Allison smiled and followed me to the front door of our pack house. "I-I thought you w-were t-the A-alpha King? Don't you l-live in t-the castle?" Allison asked me looking confused.

I laughed a little. "No but my parents do. I have a house closer to the pack house." She looked shocked but quickly hid it as I walked through the front door.

Some of my pack members bowed when they saw me others waved. I felt a hand squeeze mine. I pulled her closer when I sensed fear coming off her in waves.

"It's ok you're safe here." I whispered into her ear as I led her to my room. I pulled her towards the bed and let her sit on the edge of the bed. She was stiff and I wanted her to be comfortable around me.

"Wait here. I'll be right back." I walked to the closet to grab something she could wear. I handed her the clothing. "The bathroom is right through that door." I pointed to the door that was beside the closet door. She got up and walked slowly looking back every now and then to make sure I wasn't going anywhere.

When she came back my wolf howled inside my head. Mate looks good in our clothes. Lucian said. I groaned in my head. You are such a perv Lucian. I said frowning. Well, that makes two of you. Zev said lowly. We are literally the same person Zev, so that makes us all pervs. Lucian said shutting us off.

I pulled the covers back and motioned for her to get in. When she did I got in behind her and pulled her closer to me and pulled the covers over us in the process.

She was stiff at first then she started to relax. I heard her breathing steady and I knew she was asleep. A few minutes later I followed after her with on last thought.
