Yet another grail of mine found st last, who made it home safe and sound the incredible Dag Dia is now finally apart of the herd at last! This enchanting Stallion is absolutely incredible and I'm blown away how different he looks with this new mane and tail. I love his braids and really wish Breyer would release another horse with this mane and tail combination but I doubt they probably will especially any time soon. The Onyx black unicorn on this mold has this flipped tail but not the mane and I think that's the closest we'll get for a long time. I this horse is super magical looking and over all breath taking and excitement to have him settle into my shelves and become best friends with Faugh-a-Ballaugh.

And as you can tell from these pictures after being in the hobby over 7+ years now I finally saved enough money from my job working as a stable hand to buy a light box! It's 32x32 inches to make sure the Traditional models fit inside and it's huge! Really great quality so far and I'm so excited to use it to hopefully enter some photo shows! And speaking of photo shows I also just recently entered my first ever live show this February! It's the same, and only, show I posted about back in February 2019 so I am very excited to participate this coming year, fingers crossed I at least place in some shows.

While I was unfortunately not picked for him on my Collector's Club account, I won him at auction through Facebook! I got into quite an intense bid war with someone and the auction date was extended an extra day so for a while I wasn't sure I'd actually win but I spent up allll my luck I guess to add him to the herd. The reason Midas is SO special I because he's not handpainted over seas like most of Breyers models, he was painted at the New Jersey factory where all the Breyerfest Live Auction OOAK models are painted, which reflects his hefty price tag. His quality is meant to be unmatched compared to other Breyer Club models with the exception of Amberose who was also a Collector's Club Lottery model painted in New Jersey but he was a larger Run of 350 I believe. He has the perfect amount of gold shine to his coat to really pop and look realistic at the same time and his mapping... his mapping all around his markings are incredible especially around his eyes and kissy marks on his muzzle. This boy is just so freaking handsome I'm not sure what else to say about him other then he's perfect! A milestone in my collection for sure!

This makes me incredibly excited I joined the Club this year, having another sculpture by the artist of Geronimo and Dundee as they're two of my favorite Traditional molds, I'm very hopeful for another flashy stock horse! Zafirah I plan on reselling so far because she just doesn't seem to have that "it factor" for me. She's very pretty and her coloring is wonderful just not my thing as of now.
Josine just so happens to be the sculptor of Django, so I'm very excited to see what she comes out with next!

Speaking of the Stablemates Club, in this years release of the JAH magazine, they hinted the G1 mold used this is pretty popular among collectors so I went through IDYB.com send looked up every G1 that hasn't been used in the Club yet and came up with this list. The one I believe to be used this year is the Drafter, she's super popular among collectors and about time she gets a modern paint job they haven't used her too much over the years. Who do you think it's going to be?
