Three years and Hands Down has finally made his appearance on my shelves! I was so scared when he arrived because he was shipped in a bubble mailer with no extra padding except his pouch and one layer of bubble wrap. He's not the normal Stablemates plastic and I'm 85% sure he's actually hollow so I was very nervous opening him but so relieved he's perfectly fine! I wish Breyer would produce him in the regular Stablemates line someday without the rider but he is a nice different piece to have in my collection. I partially traded my Bozeman for him because I couldn't bring myself to truly accept his flaws even for photo shows so he was shipped to his new home today.

The most drop dead gorgeous pony I've ever seen, Mr sassy Lyric has arrived as well! He has the sweetest face with expressive eyes, nice thick tank-like body, absolutely stunning coloring, and the cutest hair cut I've seen on a Stablemate to this date. He is everything I was hoping for in a Fjord Stablemate and I'm so glad the creation team at Breyer listened to us enough to finally bring one in the line up! Now all I want is interchangeable mane designs Fjords have, especially clipped hearts! I can't wait to see him in is breed-respective coloring and all the variations of dun! I can not find one way to fault this mold and he is personally a new top 5 favorite in my collection. He is on the smaller side because Fjords do lean more towards pony heights but I'm glad he's in proportion to the other molds and doesn't look funky lined up with the others. He will definitely be staying with me for a long time and I can't wait to see how well he shows since I put in *a lot* of time to research his breed possibilities with his body type and coloring.
