The dreaded 2020 if finally over and making way for 2021! I definitely have high hopes for this year and there will definitely be some changes in my collecting. I started leasing my real life horse, Zeus, to make some money on top of looking for a job so I should be financially stable to rejoin the Stablemates Club (after I already said I wouldn't two years in a row now).
I'm going to be working my butt off to make it work as much as possible and hopefully it all works out. A big thing I really want to shoot for this year is to participate in a live show. I feel like I've done enough research and picked out a good show string with decent info cards to stand a decent chance. I've also found two shows closer to me that haven't been canceled as of yet, fingers crossed things make a change for the better.

Another goal I had was to own rare or rarer models in my collection this year. I officially have models in runs smaller then 600! Vintage Club Misty and Stormy, run of 500 and my Glossy Appreciation Ideal Stock Horse, 200-250 I believe was said to be made!

Today it has also been revealed Breyer is in fact doing another split matte vs gloss finish on.......... Atticus! I was really hoping if they did this they'd do it on Hendrix but I don't mind it on Atticus.
Here's a group collage of all the revealed Stablemates club models all together, now just waiting for clues about the new sculpt and the bonus model. I'm thinking the bonus model might be a Prince Charming since he's brand new and they seem eager to use him in blind bags at least, I just hope he's not a unicorn. For the new mold, I'd love to see a Marwari horse with the curved ear tips. I also think a Curly horse would definitely be very cool and unique! Something very distinctive and not done before would be incredible to see. What new mold would you like to see?

This is a slow-burn high fantasy / adventure with many characters and intersecting plotlines. It’s a quest so lots of adventuring, exploring, and character moments, but not a ton of fighting/action (though there are definitely some great fight scenes as payoff to the buildup). Because it’s a fantasy world with lots of people and new concepts, I try to make it easy so that you don’t have to memorize anything. The narrative will constantly remind you of important people/places/concepts as you keep moving forward. Some things won’t be fully explained right at the beginning to avoid information overload. My goal is that the reader will learn things organically as the story progresses. I use two mechanisms to help with the intersecting plotlines. - Each chapter is named for the (main) plotline it’s following and which part. - At the beginning of the chapter, and anytime there is a scene shift, the location is listed. Also, though this is definitely a portal-fantasy (isekai) it’s different from the standard isekai, especially since the world transfer doesn’t happen immediately. It’s not Lit-RPG but characters gain powers and grow over time. Also, it’s a group of teens that transfer, not just one central character. All of the teens are distinct characters, with their own character-arcs, relationships, powers, growth etc. Hopefully you’ll find this interesting as you’ll see the world and story from multiple perspectives. The story is always in 3rd Person (Omniscient) POV so that it’s not jarring as perspectives shift.
