Breyer has been throwing out surprises left and right at us, especially the last three years. Breyer has already come out with a new Club this year called Fairytale Friends, in which you get a fantasy colored unicorn Stablemate and matching Mini Whinny for $25, every other month. What Breyer has just come out with isn't exactly a whole new club all together, just for of a slightly glorified Collecter Club then what they have offered in the past.
Breyer has come out with what they're calling their Deluxe Collector's Club account. It is exactly the same as the preexisting CC BUT.... for $30 more you get a free (all costs covered by Breyer) mini Chris Hess Fighting Stallion Stablemate in glossy palomino. The Stablemate will be shipped out around this time next year through December.
Usually I'm all over new Stablemates molds and wanting to be one of the first people to get them but I just felt like I can afford to try and find him second hand for a good deal. I do want to get into a little bit of Breyer history and I think this would be a good piece to start out with. That being said... I renewed my Collector's Club account just the other day but I did not go Deluxe.
I stayed with the 2020 Collector's Club account and I'm perfectly happy with it. My main thing I was concerned about was Breyer showed some pictures of new years Collector's Club exclusive and I was freaking out because they released pictures of this new exclusive for 2020 and the new Collector's Club at the same time. I needed to know if we could get him with the original Collector's Club account and Breyer said yes! Each Collector's Club has the same access to the same web/CC specials except the Stablemate. Meet Carter! Carter is a dappled rose grey on the Dundee mold! I am so excited for a Dundee mold I will have access to! For the year of 2020 I will not be joining the Stablemates Club because I'm not at the lovely age where I need to start spending and saving my money for moving out and providing for myself. I've already achieved my goal from the Stablemates Club and if there's a release I feel like I really can't live without (I can but I dont think I can lol) then I can try to find one second hand.
I just wanted to say all the money I spend on Breyers is infact mine that I have earned, no one is going "oh you want this, have it" in my family and I'm happy to have it that way. Anyways... I will not be joining the Stablemates Club unless I magically make more money and can afford it. Until then my main goal is the Traditional scale Collector's Club specials, even they are more spendy they don't come out as often, two or three times a year, so I feel pretty confident for this coming year. Just hopefully I can get to them before they sell out over night. 😬
These handsome boys will come out as a Collector Club model for 2020, only only one of the molds. These guys were a "who wore it best" right before Breyerfest and we got to vote on who we wanted to see in this coat the most. We won't know which mold it will be on until they come out. I'd honestly be happy just being able to get my hands on one since it's one of my favorite colors and patterns combined... red dun with splash Paint markings! Fingers crossed or the Duende mold. 😉 Which mold would you want if you had a choice?

I love criticism. and on that note, I'll just say that this will be kind of like "i reincarnated as a dragon's egg" but also not. well, whatever. let's have fun together, awwite!?
