So far 2019 has been a really amazing year for collecting and achieving some grails of mine. Kicked the start of 2019 off with a full set of blindbag Stablemates and the 2018 Premier Club freebie, Darwin. Later I found a few singles from Wal-Mart, my regular tack shop, a May gift swap, and Facebook adds and then came my first two 2019 Stablemates Club models. Half way through 2019 and I just feel so lucky to have gotten where I am now in my collecting.

Greyson, my 199th model! Greyson is a mini model of Breyers Traditional scale, Carrick. This mini-me mold is sculpted to be a racing style 3 year old Thoroughbred stallion. He has a long flowing tail, short styled mane/forelock and is a pretty petite mold. Greyson is a bit of a thinner mold, kind of like Django, Valegro, and a few others but he is really really nice. I am a little bummed out about his coloring, being another bay pinto as for he makes the 5th one (Cocoa from 2016, Icelandic gamblers choice from 2016 I think, Kahona and Darley from 2018, and now Greyson for 2019) but I am happy to have a new mold, another mini mold, and they're switching things up a little then making his just a regular pinto/Paint - they're calling him a pure Thoroughbred with "white spotting" instead of going down the sabino route like Darley. Most all of his markings are really crisp, a few trouble areas on his withers and flank but I'm pretty happy with him to celebrate half way through the year! His nickname is "Rebel Yell" after Black Veil Brides cover of Billy Idol's song.
