《So, Now You Want Me?》Marriages

I was so happy about the next two months. Today Roger and Sarah were getting married and three weeks later, Kendra and Jason were having their wedding. Four weeks later on, I would be the one walking down the aisle.
"I really like the colors of the wedding." Ruby said.
We were standing in the church, waiting for the ceremony to begin. I looked at everything and loved the colors. They chose peach and pink as the colors for today. The bridesmaids' dresses were a nice soft pink and they touched the floor and were strapless. The bouquet of roses she had were peach and pink with white painted leaves here and there. Sarah's dress was a peach color and it looked like a ball gown dress, and it was also strapless. She had her hair in a nice, elegant bun with some roses in her hair.
"Are you ready for today?" I asked walking up to her.
"Couldn't be more ready than I am." Sarah hugged me.
The music started and we walked down the aisle. Sarah handed her bouquet to her cousin and held hands with Roger.
"I, Roger Adam NewMan, do take you, Sarah Michelle Hunter, to be my lawfully wedded wife. To have and to hold, to love and to cherish, for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, as long as we both shall live." Roger slipped the ring on Sarah's finger.
"And I, Sarah Michelle Hunter, do take you, Roger Adam NewMan to be my lawfully wedded husband. To have and to hold, to love and to cherish, for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, as long as we both shall live." Sarah slipped the ring on his finger.
"In the presence of family, friends, and God, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." the preacher spoke.
After the speeches, Sarah and Roger had their dance. You could jut feel the love rolling off of them. When the wedding was over, they got on a plane headed to the Bahamas for their honeymoon. I was laying in bed when Dylan came and wrapped his arms around me.
"What do you want to name the baby?" he asked me.
"I dont know. What do you want to name it?"
"If it's a girl I want to name her Sapphire, and if the baby's a boy, I want to name him Zavier."
"I like them. I love you. Goodnight."
"I love you too. Night."

"Have you picked out names yet?" Morgan asked as we sat on the couch.
"If the baby's a boy, I want to name him Riley. If it's a girl, I want to name her Miely." Kendra held K.J.
"What about you Diamond?"
"If it's a girl, we want to name her Sapphire and if it's a boy, we want to name him Zavier." I told them.
"Look at us, having babies and getting married it seems like yesterday when we found ourselves a new sister." Kendra rocked the sleeping baby.
"I know. Even though getting rejected hurt and was horrible, I'm kinda glad Dylan did what he did, with out him doing that I wouldn't have found you guys. You guys kept me going when I thought that I had no one." I pulled them into a group hug, making sure not to crush sleeping Keith Jr.

"I love you guys." Morgan spoke.
"We love you too." Kendra and I spoke at the same time.
I don't know what I would do with out my added family.

It was the day of Kendra's and Jason's wedding and we were waiting in the hotel for the wedding to begin. Kendra had on a white strapless dress. It reached just above her feet, and had jewels on the bust. Kendra's hair was done in big curls that fell down her back. She held her beautiful bouquet, which consisted of many white roses and a couple strands of lavender in it as well. The bridesmaids' dresses were lavender and they touched our feet as well.
"You look so beautiful. I can't wait for my wedding." I hugged her.
"Just four weeks and it will be your big day."
"Are you ready?" Sarah came up to us.
Her and Roger came back two days before the wedding. They showed us pictures and bought us gifts. The music started playing and we walked to our places.
"Do you, Jason Lee Rose, take Kendra Susan Parker to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, to love and to cherish, for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse as long as you both shall live?" the preacher asked.
"I do."
"Do you, Kendra Susan Parker, take Jason Lee Rose to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, to love and to cherish, for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, as long as you both shall live?"
"I do."
"With friends, family, and our Father as our witness, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Sarah and Jason had their dance and when they were done, other couples went to the dance floor. Dylan pulled my hand and walked me to the center of the dance floor. We danced for one song, before my feet began to hurt. I was walking back to my seat when I felt a pain in my stomach. I pressed it and felt a kick. I wanted yo tell people but I didn't want to take the attention away from Kendra.
"What's wrong?" Dylan asked beside me.
"Nothing."
"There's something, you've been over here pressing on your stomach and smiling for the past five minutes."
"Okay, I'll tell you, but you have to promise not to tell anyone until five minutes of the wedding is left." I stuck my pinkie finger out.
"I promise." Dylan looped his pinkie with mine.
"The baby is kicking, feel." I put his hand on my stomach.
We waited for ten seconds, before we felt the kick. Dylan smiled and leaned down and kissed my tummy. When it was only five minutes of the wedding left, we told everyone that the baby was kicking. I let Kendra and Jason feel first as an extra wedding gift. Kendra and Jason left for St. Lucia that night.
"What are you thinking of?" Dylan laid beside me.
"Just the weddings, I'm so ready for ours."
"Me too, and I'm ready for this little one." he pushed on my stomach, having the baby kick, "I feel so stupid about what I did to you. My life without you was horrible. I'm so mad that I didn't realize it sooner. I'm so sorry for the pain I've caused you."

"Oh, baby. I love you and don't you ever forget that. What you did hurt, but if you wouldn't have done what you did, I wouldn't have the extra family I have. I forgave you a long time ago and I'm so glad that I did. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love you so very much." I kissed his lips repeatedly.
"I love you so much and I'm glad you forgave me. I don't know what I would do without you." he wrapped me in his arms.
I drifted off to sleep in the arms of the man I love. We woke up the next day and went downstairs after taking a shower.
"How's my little niece?" Ruby touched my belly.
"We don't know what the gender is so don't call it a she. The baby's been kicking all day, you want to feel?"
"Yes." my dad said, "that's my boy. A nice firm kick."
"Daddy, what did I just say?" I glared at him.
"What, I thought that you were just talking to Ruby." he smiled innocently.
"No, that goes for everyone."
After we ate breakfast, Dylan carried me upstairs and gave me a foot massage. My feet were hurting bad, but when he rubbed them the pain went away. I took a nap and when I woke up it was time for lunch. Dylan helped me in the car and we went to Burger King.
"What do you want to eat?" Dylan helped me sit down.
"I want a four cheese whopper, a yumbo, chicken fries, fries, onion rings, and an oreo shake, I want everything in a large too. And get me a side of twenty sliced pickles."
"Little one must be hungry."
"Little one, with the way I'm eating, this baby gone be fat." I rubbed my swollen belly, "Now help me up, I need to pee."
We were laying in bed when I felt a kiss on my neck. I rolled around in his arms to face him and I kissed his lips.
"What do you want the baby's middle name to be?" I laid my head on his chest.
"I don't know, what do want to name it?"
"If it's a boy, I want his middle name to be Robert. And if the baby's a girl, I want her middle name to be Evenlyn."
"Sapphire Evenlyn Brown, or Zavier Robert Brown. I like them both. I love you goodnight."
"Sleep tight."
"Don't let the bed bugs bite."
"You either."
"I love you."
"I love you too, Dylan."

"Help her with the crown." my mom told Ruby.
Today I was getting married to the love of my life. We were standing in a small building right next to the beautiful garden that I was getting married in. My dress reached my knees and was a light silver color. When the dress was at my waist, it started to flow out and it had two straps that tied around my neck. I had the bridesmaids in light blue dresses that also reached their knees. My hair was straight and I had a small crown on my head holding the veil.
"Honey you look so beautiful." my dad came and hugged me.
"Thank you daddy."
The music started and the bridesmaids took their places. The music stoped, and my hired singer started singing 'One by Brian McNight.' I looked at the man, who the rest of my life would be spent with and saw tears in his eyes. My dad gave me a kiss and handed me off to Dylan and the ceremony began.
"We are gathered here today, to witness the holy matrimony of Dylan Cody Brown and Diamond LeeAnne Rose." the preacher began talking.
"With this ring, I promise to love, honor, and cherish you. To have and to hold, for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, as long as we both shall live." Dylan put the ring on my finger.
"With this ring, I promise to love, honor, and cherish you. To have and to hold, for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, as long as we both shall live." I put the ring on his finger.
"By the power invested in me, with family, friends, and God as my witness, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."
Dylan pulled me to him and gave me a kiss full of passion. We went to dance to our first dance as a married couple and 'Bless The Broken Road by Rascal Flatts' began to play. I looked at him and fell more in love with him.
"I love you." he kissed my lips.
"I love you too."
We had a triple layered strawberry cake. We cut it together and I feed him a piece as he feed me one as well. When the wedding was over, we got on a plane to go to Hawaii.

It's been a week since I been back from my honeymoon and I was in labor. Kendra had a beautiful baby girl, named Miley Rebeca Rose.
"How are you feeling?" Jane, the pack doctor, asked.
"Fine, just pain from the contractions." I winced.
"That's good. You're five centimeters dilated and your contractions are ten minutes apart." Jane informed.
"Okay."
As I sat and waited for it was time to push, people came in and gave their congratulations and some gave me hugs. When it was time for me to push, everyone but my mom and Dylan had to get out.
"Okay, I need you to push on the count of three. One, two three."
I squeezed Dylan's hand and he moaned in pained. My mom wiped the sweat off my forehead. I pushed again and everything was silent before a cry broke through the room.
"It's a beautiful baby boy." Jane cut the umbilical cord.
I laid down, but then winced feeling pain in my lower abdomen.
"What's wrong?" my mom asked.
"I feel pain." I groaned.
Jane went to see what was wrong and smiled, "Looks like big brother is getting a sibling."
"What? We're having twins?" Dylan's eyes widened.
"Yes you are." Jane got back into her position, "I need you to do the same thing as last time."
After pushing my second bundle of joy out of me, I laid down as they were getting cleaned. People started to fill the room and my babies were brought into the room. I held Sapphire as Dylan held Zavier.
"Look Donny, they have your daddy's eyes." my mom spoke.
Both Sapphire and Zavier both had these beautiful, big, blue eyes. Sapphire had my hair and Dylan's skin tone, while Zavier had my skin tone and Dylan's hair. I looked around the room and saw so many faces. I had friends, family, a wonderful husband, and two beautiful babies. I couldn't have asked for anything more in my life.

A New Leaf
When people mention fantasy games and RPGs, they usually think of goblins, elves, orcs, dwarves and magic (apart from the percentage that gets an image of an anti-tank weapon in their mind, I will respectfully put those individuals aside for now). But what if you get neither of those (not even the weapon, I know, sad)? And what if you end up playing as something that doesn't look like an animal at all? And what if the said game you were playing weren't actually a game, but real life changed by irresponsible, beyond-mortal beings? Follow the (mis)adventures of "player" 13241, a.k.a. Treant, as he experiences what it's like to be a walking magical fruit maker (among other things). When the world goes to hell and back, plants are the ones that remain, right?

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
