Annabelle

My eyes wouldn't conjure up any more tears. My face was an emotionless mask as I replayed every detail about how Colton died. When he said he could 'see her' I knew he meant his real mate while he was dying. He was happy now that's all that mattered I guess. It still felt like my heart was torn into shreds, but thinking he was happy made me feel better. The rest of the pack fighters in Dark Crescent Moon had followed the trail of the hunters. It led to an abandoned wear house. The hunters that had been remaining inside were immediately killed. We freed the people being held captive. At least something good came out of this, among the people being held captive Kristy and Avalon found their mates. They were actually Ellie's older brothers, but I couldn't even celebrate with them, I was mourning. I haven't slept in two days, I simply couldn't. I don't understand how the 'Moon Goddess' said that it would be easier to remove my mark, that i wouldn't feel pain. It obviously wasn't the case. When she said she had un-done the mating I found out that she also basically gave me back my virginity. Yay. Note the sarcasm. It's not like i'm going to find someone else anyway. Colton was gone. It didn't matter anymore.

My thoughts were interrupted by an urgent knock to my door.

"Come in." I said.

Travis, the Alpha, popped his head in. I looked at him curiously.

"Annabelle, the King and Queen have stopped by for a visit, and as Alpha female of the Pure Lupus pack, you need to greet them as well." My brows furrowed. The King and Queen were here? Why?

"Very well. I'll be down in ten minutes." Travis nodded his head and closed my door.

I grabbed some jeans and a sweater and walked into my bathroom. Setting my clothes on the toilet, I stripped out of my pajamas and jumped into the cold water that hadn't had a chance to heat up. I scrubbed my hair and body quickly before rinsing off. I turned the nob to turn off the water and got out of the shower. My white fluffy towel was hanging on the rack, so I grabbed it and dried off quickly. I was dressed and ready in another two minutes with my hair laying down my back and already curling again. Stepping down the staircase I caught two scents that seemed familiar but almost unfamiliar. Isabelle started stirring inside of me. I paused mid-step when I saw them. The King and Queen.

I froze. Suddenly something that had been in the back of my mind pulled for front. An invisible connection was being formed and I was suddenly aware of two different presense's in my mind. The King and Queen abruptly turned around and what I saw stunned me further. The Queen had deep chocolate eyes and chestnut brown hair that smoothed down her back in the same ringlets I had. Her body was slender and petite. She had the same facial structure as me, heart shaped. I looked to her left and saw the King. Familiar green orbs burned into mine, it was like looking at my eyes in a mirror. The King had a tall form and broad shoulders. He had dark brown almost black hair and a trimmed goatee. They were both in robes. The King had on a velvety crown with some small rubies, while the Queen had one made of diamonds.

"Isabelle?" The Queen looked at me hope shining in her eyes.

"That's my wolfs name, mine is Annabelle." Her face lit up like she was hoping I would confirm, but how does she know my wolfs name?

"Isabelle, your wolf, has been calling to mine for the past seventeen years. It has become stronger over the past couple months, so I'd assumed you shifted due to finding your mate, but I see no mark."

"It's a complicated story. But I do have a question."

"Yes?"

"Are you my real parents?" The Queen teared up.

"Yes we are." Without hesitation I ran into my Mom's open arms and gave her a hug that she returned.

"Oh. My little girl." My Dad had tears streaming down his face too and he quickly embraced the both of us. We hugged for what seemed like, a long time.

Queen Elizabeth

We had arrived to the Dark Crescent Moon pack and hoping to find our long lost daughter. The Alpha pair were with us and chatting with Charles, my husband, but I was drifting off into space. Why won't this young Alpha female hurry? I want to have permission already to search her Pure Lupus pack for my daughter. Bryce, our son, was waiting in the limo. He said he 'didn't want to face anymore disappointment' and chose to stay behind in the car. Suddenly my wolf stirred. I felt Charles stiffen next to me, he felt it too. I inhaled deeply and almost sobbed. I recognized the chocolate and strawberry scent that belonged to my daughter. A beautiful girl that looked to be around eighteen froze on the bottom step we immediately faced around to see her completely. She had my curls and hair color. She was slender and had a curvy body with her brown ringlets reaching her waist. Her face had the same structure of mine. I met her stare and saw my husbands green orbs. She looked over at Charles. I felt whole again, the bond I once shared with my daughter was back full force and I could feel her presence in my mind.

"Isabelle?" I knew it was her wolfs name.

"That's my wolfs name, mine is Annabelle." She looked confused.

"Isabelle, your wolf, has been calling to mine for the past seventeen years. It has become stronger over the past couple months, so I'd assumed you shifted due to finding your mate, but I see no mark." I told her hearing her question in her mind and answered.

"It's a complicated story. But I do have a question."

"Yes?"

"Are you my real parents?" My eyes watered. Off course! I could feel it in my heart.

"Yes we are." I told her with confidence.

I opened my arms and she ran into them embracing me as tightly as I embraced her. Everything else blurred out as me and my beautiful daughter caught up in our hug. I felt my husbands arms enclosed around us and we embraced as a family finally put back together. After some time we realized we were alone. We sat next to each other on the couch we stood near and held each others hands.

"I bet you have lots of questions." I smiled and wiped her tears off her cheeks. She nodded her head.

"Well to answer some you might have, I'm going to tell you that you were taken from us at a very young age by a man named Larson. He was in love with me a very long time ago, and when I found your father, seeked revenge after I left him. He stole you at barely a couple of months. The rest we don't know for sure. You have an older brother named Bryce who is nineteen. He hasn't inherited the throne yet because he hasn't found his mate. Now that we found you, you can inherit the throne if you have already found your mate. So I do have to ask if you have?"

"Yes, but it's a rather long story." Annabelle said.

"We have plenty of time." I smiled reassuringly and she started with her story.

"I was raised by who I believed was my parents. I have met Larson he threatened someone dear to me, and they recently. Died. When I was growing up I had a brother named Alec who had shifted at maturity and when I didn't they assumed I had an Alpha as a mate. The people who raised me, or who i believed were my parents at the time, sent me here to try and find my mate at my grandparents pack. I off course did and automatically fell in love with him. When the time came to mark me, he did, and the next morning I went through my heat. The process had slipped my mind and upon remembering, I told him I wasn't ready. Out of confusion and anger he marked and mated someone else who actually already had a mate. They later left him for their true mate. As for me, I became extremely angry and ran into the forest, what happened next completely baffled me at the time, I shifted without being mated to my mate. It made sense the next morning, the prophecy foretold it, and I was the living proof. I was and still am the Destined wolf. I ran away and stumbled into some rogues, I was protected by another pack, the Pure Lupus pack. Among, that pack i found Colton, he was the Alpha. He had lost his true mate at the hand of rogues, and we immediately became attached to one another. Colton marked me and we became mates. When we had to come back here to help, we had started having problems and began being threatened. Ellie a young girl had came to us for help and told us she was being forced to gather information out of us and report it to Larson. He was holding her family hostage. One day Colton went out on a run, alone, and that's when they got him. About a week later we went at war, Larson killed Colton, and I killed Larson. I've been mourning for his death since, two days ago, and now here we are." Annabelle finished her story and I couldn't help but notice the tears that had leaked down her cheeks. I wiped them away.

"It's okay honey." She smiled.

"Thank you." I gave her a hug.

''Your welcome." I told her.

Suddenly the door opened and in walked in a flustered and frustrated Bryce. When he saw Annabelle his gaze turned to utter confusion to realisation to happiness. He came over and pulled Annabelle into a hug.

Bryce

What in the world was taking them so long? She wasn't going to be here anyways, my long lost sister was probably dead. I cringed at the thought. I lost hope years ago. My mate hasn't showed up so i know these feelings will have to deal on their own. With another sigh of frustration I got out of the limo and walked toward the pack house. I weaved my hand through my dark brown almost black hair and sighed. I saw two couples walking in a group that were all laughing and having a good time. Why couldn't I be happy? Oh. That's right I just want my sister back. I was hopeless and just wished she could be here, even though I know she isn't. I walked through the white picket fence and up the stairs to the door. My wolf stirred. Hmm, weird. I opened the door and smelt a scent I never thought I would. Chocolate and strawberries. I looked to my right and saw my mom and dad sitting on either side of a girl who looked around my age. She turned around along with my parents. my breath caught. She had the same green eyes dad has and looks just like mom. She had curly brown chestnut hair and the same facial structure and figure mom does. The only difference is her green eyes of my dad. I felt the connection to her and her presence invaded my mind. This was my sister.

I walked over and gave her a hug. She realized the same thing I did and hugged me back.

"Bryce?" She mind linked me.

"Yes. And your my little sister." She hugged me tighter.

"Annabelle that's my name, and yes I know your my brother." She mentally chuckled.

"I can't believe we found you, Annabelle."

"Me either." She pulled away and smiled before scooting over and patting the spot next to her.

I smiled and sat down, next to my long lost and now found, sister.
