《His Betrayal》Chapter(9)

Annabelle
On my way home I took in all the scenery, it really was lovely here I don't know if i'd want to go back home. That would probably never happen if I was mated to an Alpha for example. I'd have to stay here for pack duties. HA! Could you imagine me an Alpha Female. yeah right. Pulling up to the familiar place I now call home, I parked the car and got out. There it was again. That same scent i've learned to love, knowing it's my mate. I followed it inside. It lead to the living room. I saw Fawn sitting on the couch with some reading glasses on, and sitting down sipping tea while reading. Hearing my entrance she looked up with a smile, noticing my sniffs of the air she got a knowing look in her eye and her smile turned into a smirk.
" Well hi there, how was school." She asked slowly as if exlpaining something to a child.
"Uhm, well it was good."
"Okaaay, well dinner will be ready an 8."
She went back to her reading and I just stood their a little confused. oh my gosh maybe she knows i found my mate. oh shit oh shit oh shit. That would explain the knowing look and the smirk. Oh well, hopefully she doesn't interfere with fate we will meet in our own time. With that settled I started making my way toward my room up the stairs. When I walked in my room, I noticed a small note sitting on my pillow. Walking over to pick it up I read what it said:
Hey case' ur wondrng who wrote u this note it's Kristy. Me and Avalon r goin to the mall this weekend and were wondering if u wanted to go. We didn't c u aftr skool sooo Avalon made me write this for u anyway here r our numbers case' u need to call or anything, but if u do u should totally text me first cuz im awesomer than Avalon-Kristy :)

Are NOT!-Avalon
AM TOO!-Kristy
NU-UH-Avalon
UH-HU-Kristy
Okay, but seriously call me first im cooler than Kristy! BTW i wrote this when she wasn't looking so shhhhhhh ;)
From: Avolon and Kristy
Laughing I put the note back on my pillow. I decided to get some homework done after putting their numbers into my phone. My math homework took the longest, therefore the reason why I hate the darn subject. After eventually having got my other homework assignments done, I grabbed my pj's and went into my bathroom. I made myself a nice bubble bath just cause' I felt like it. After, what seemed like forever I filled up the enormous juccuzi sized tub, and stepped in. I made sure to use my favorite sweet pea body wash soap for the bubbles. I washed my hair and put in the conditioner. I scrubbed my body clean of any dirt or sweat, which their was definitely some sweat from p.e. I then rinsed out the conditoner and relaxed for awhile. After, what felt like a couple of minutes or maybe half an hour, i hopped out and wrapped myself in a white fluffy towel. I did my air up in a sloppy bun after brushing through it, and dried off quickly. I walked out of the bathroom in my towel with pj's in hand to get dressed, only to find two silhouettes sitting on my bed in the dark. I screamed and they both burst out laughing. Wait! I know those voices. Walking over to the light switch I flipped it on and my room was illuminated with light.
" Avalon! Kristy! What are you guys doing in here!" I half yelled half whispered.
"We-we hahahaha yo-your fa-face!" Kristy was still laughing hard so that came out half giggles. I turned to Avalon who was curled over her stomach with tears rolling down her face from laughing so hard. Thump. Avalon froze turning to Kristy I did the same. Her spot was empty on my bed, only to find her still laughing on the floor. That started a whole other round of laughter from the two.

"Kay' well i'm going to go back and get dressed in the bathroom then."
They barely noticed me saying anything so I just rolled my eyes and walked into the bathroom. I slipped on my panties and bottoms along with my top then put on my bunny slippers. I walked out of the bathroom, to thankfully see two girls who have seemed to calm down, sitting criss-cossed on my bed. They let out giggles from time to time, but it was better than full blown laughter after my near-heart attack. I decided to finally get to what they wanted here.
"Soooo what did yall' want?'
"We wanted to ask you to come with us to the mall." Kristy replied.
"What she meant to say was, that we came to beg you to come and that if you deny not to we will drag you with us anyways." Avalon said bluntly. Always, straight to the point with her.
"Well, i mean-" Kristy cut me off with a glare.
"it's just that i uhm-" another glare.
"Okay, okay fine i'll go, keep glaring like that your face will stay that way." Me and Avalon started laughing at Kristy's expense.
"Humph. Whatever." She then gave a mock sour face and we all started laughing.
"Come on guys let's go see if my mom needs any help with dinner." Avalon said already walking toward the door.
We all headed downstairs and into the kitchen. Fawn was covered in flour and there was the sizzling of oil and the occasional popping noises. Judging by the pile of fried chicken i'm guessing that's what we were having for dinner.
"Hey, Mom need help with dinner." Avalon asked
"Oh. Yes, please Annabelle help with the chicken while i get cleaned up and Kristy Start on the mashed potatoes and salad while Avalon please do the mac and cheese." Fawn said.
"YES!" I started doing a little happy dance. "Mac and cheese is my all time favorite, I expect a good job Avalon." I said mockingly. They all started laughing at that.
"Pa-leez Mac and cheese is my specialty.' With that we all got to work. It's a good thing I always helped my mom with dinner otherwise i'd have no clue on how to make fried chicken. The ckicken pile got twice as big maybe triple within the first 20 minutes and Fawn finally came back.
"Wow ladies great job." She then proceeded in trying a piece of everything. When she got to my chicken I began to get nervous. Please please like it. Her face was one of shock then she licked her lips and gave me an approving look.
"Remind me to have you make me a bucket of chicken one of these days, this is better than KFC."
I started laughing and nodded my head in response. We all got dinner on the table while Fawn Hollered a big 'DINNER TIME' to everyone. Like a big family we took seats around the table, thanked the moon goddess and dug in, we were definitely all a big family. With one small exception of course, we're all werewolves.
