she threw up for the

tenth

time this month

and she couldn't bear to fear her biggest fear yet

and hoped that her worst fear

did not come true

and so when she held that stick that held her future

she prayed like she was in church

and when God gave her

one line

she cried out in relief

because she couldn't bear the thought

of carrying a human being she didn't want

and then she hoped again

that next time she'd be just as lucky
