Sixteen-year-old Jessica Jane Willens lacks emotions. A strong claim, per se, but one she has believed for many years. The normal stinging pain in your heart, the prickling tears in your eyes, and the echoing laugh? She doesn't have that in her life. All she has in emptiness and her stiffness, like a bland stick. Well, that's what the world sees. Deep beyond the surface act she has, she just wants to fall into someone's arms and cry.

She is haunted, some may say blessed, by memories of her dad, who died in the impact of a car crash years ago. One she knows is her fault.

But once she meets four strangers that happen to be her half-brothers, sparks the attention of the three most popular boys at her school, breaks a few rules as per the saying 'rules were meant to be broken', her perspective starts to change.

Her life takes a hundred and eighty degree turn and along the way, she realizes that her too lives may be harder to blend together than she thought. Attempting to put her sarcastic sided on pause and not drag attention to herself was much harder. For some reason, attention flew towards her when all she wanted to do was hide. It was much easier to hide in her old life than in her new one.

In which you follow Jessica on her journey and you start to wonder, is she really Fragile?

My love for writing and reading is more than I could ever describe to you in words. It has kept me going, motivated me, and is an escape. So is my love for all of you. Thank you for choosing this book as your next adventure. I promise I'll make it with as much roller coasters as possible along the way so buckle up tight and enjoy the ride.

The inspiration for this book- and the difference in format with the flashbacks- was based on my love for children. Knowing that carrying out a book entirely in a child's perspective was a challenge for me, I added flashbacks and moments to help readers feel more connected with the characters. My plan is for this novel to be my first completed novel and I appreciate all the support from you guys!

that this story is not completely edited, especially at the last few chapters. It will continue to be edited on the later chapters, and more will be added (including bonus chapters). Also, the story a cliche- you've been warned.

This novel is dedicated to everyone on Wattpad who have been super supportive, sweet, and just awesome! Just writing this wants to make me cry because it makes me realize how much they mean to me. I love Wattpad because it gives everyone a chance to meet people with the same interests and make new friends! I love all of you guys so much (you know who you are) and I'm more than thankful to have met all of you guys!

Also dedicated to everyone and anyone who reads this. Thank you for clicking on this book to try out. It means so so much to me. Always remember how amazing, beautiful, and great you are!

"do you ever feel like an outcast? you don't have to fit into the format. oh, but it's okay to be different"

"most girls, are smart and strong and beautiful. most girls, work hard, go far, we are unstoppable. most girls, fight to make everyday. no two are the same."

"but I won't cry, and I won't start to crumble. whenever they try to shut me or cut me down. I won't be silenced, you can't keep me quiet, won't tremble when you try it, all I know is I won't go speechless. cause I'll breathe, when they try to suffocate me, don't you underestimate me."

"whenever you can't see the light, whenever there's no end in sight, keep on, keep on moving on"

"so, why can't you see?, you belong with me"
