ემა მორგან ბლეიქი არის 20 წლის გოგონა რომელიც დედასთან ერთად ნიუ-ორკში ცხოვრობს დედამისი საუკეთესო ქირურგია მთელ ქალაქში. ჩვეულებრივ საზოგადოებაში გოგონა ცნობილია როგორც ემა მორგანი მეორე კურსის მოსწავლე, გოგონას მამა მაშინ წავიდა როცა ის ჯერ კიდევ 12 წლის იყო, ამის მიზეზი კი დღემდე უცნობია. ამის მიზეზს ემა დიდხანს ეძებდა მაგრა ბოლოს იფიქრო რომ ის უბრალოდ ერთი არაკაცი იყო რომელმაც ვერ შეძლო ცოლ-შვილის მოვლა. ემა გარეგნულად ძალიან ლამაზია მუქი ფერის კანი, შავი თმები და შავი თვალები, მაგრამ გოგონას საშინლად არ უყვარს თავისი თვალი ფერი რადგან ის მამას ახსენებს, მასაც ზუსტად იგივე თვალი ფერი ჰქონდა. მას საშინლად სძულდა მამა ამის გამო არ ატარებს მის გვარს ბლეიქს, მაგრამ გოგონას საქციელმა რო დედის გვარზე ყოფილიყო ძალიან ბევრი უბედურება ააცილა ოჯახს თავიდან, მაგრამ მათ ეს არ იციან. ყველაფრის მიუხედავად გოგონა ჩვეულებრივად გაიზარდა, დადის უნივერსიტეტში , ყავს მეგობრები. გარეგნულად ის გამოიყურება როგორ ერთი ჩვეულებრივი ამერიკელი გოგონა, მაგრამ ყველაფერი მთლად ასეთი ადვილადაც არ არის. 12 სექტემბერი 2020 წელი. დილით ემას სიცივე აღვიძებს სულ რამდენიმე წამი სჭირდება იმის გასააზრებლად რომ იქ მისი საუკეთესი მეგობარი იყო რომელმაც მას ამ წამს ცივი წყავი გადაასხა. ემა სასწრაფოდ ადგა ლოგინიდან და მის საუკეთესო მეგობარს სოფიას გაეკიდა, სოფია და ემა ბავშვობიდან ერთად იზრდებოდნენ, ისინი მეზობელ სახლებში ცხოვრობენ მათი დედები კი საუკეთესო მეგობრები არიან სკოლიდან. ასე რომ გოგოებიც სულ ერთად არიან. გაბრაზებული ემა დანით დასდევს სოფიას , მან თავიდანვე იცოდა რომ ემას გაღვიძება ამ ხერხით არც ისე კარგი იდეა იყო, მაგრამ სხვაგვარად ვერ გააღვიძა. როდესაც ემა დამშვიდდა ის და სოფია ფილმის საყურებლად დასხდნენ. ემას დედა ლილი დილით ადრე წავიდა საავადმყოფოში. ემა ამას მიჩვეული იყო რადგან ლილი ყოველთვის ადრე მიდიოდა და გვიან ბრუნდებოდა რადგან ძალიან ბევრს მუშაობდა, მაგრამ მაინც ყოველთვის იცლიდა შვილისთვის. უეცრად ემას და სოფიას ტელეფონზე შეტყობინება ერთდროულად მოვიდა, გოგონებმა კარგად იცოდნენ ეს რასაც ნიშნავდა მაშინვე გაემზადნენ და გავიდნენ. ალბათ ვერ მიხვდით ხომ? ყველაფერი ძალიან მარტივია გოგონები ამ დროისთვის ქალაქში საუკეთესო დეტექტივები არიან, ახლა კი ისინი მკვლელობის გამოსაძიებლად წავიდნენ. მაგრამ ის თუ რატო აირჩიეს ეს საქმიანობა უცნობია, მაგრამ ორივეს გააჩნდა ამის მიზეზი. ემას შესახებ არავინ არაფერი არ იცის რადგან მას არ უნდოდა მისი საქმიანობა ცნობილი ყოფილიყო, რადგან ასე ბევ მტერს აიცილებდა თავიდან. გოგონამ თავისი საქმიანობა დედასაც კი არ გაუმხილა, მაგრამ არა იმიტომ რომ არ ენდობოდა, უბრალოდ რაც უფრო ცოტა ეცოდინებოდა ლილის მით ნაკლები საფრთხე დაემუქრებოდა. ემამ საქმე გახსნა და მკვლელიც დაიჭირა. სახლში დაბრუნებულ ემას უეცრად ტელეფონზე ზარი შემოუვიდა............

Hey! I once lived on your world back in 2056. But that was a long time ago and there’s probably no records of my existence. Or, maybe, I haven’t even been born yet… …I’m still figuring out of the timelines correspond. Anyways, I was or will be, or whatever you want to call it (maybe I am?), John Pitcher, a resident at St. Jude’s Hospital for the Mentally Ill. I was a computer programmer and my parents had me admitted there because I was convinced that I had been contacted by Set, the Egyptian god of chaos, about creating a world. Well, apparently, I’m something akin to the great times a hundred grandson of over 10 000 gods, and they didn’t want me to live an ordinary, dull life (well, except for the god of normalcy, but he doesn’t count). Set gave me three years to prepare myself. This begins right at the end of those three years. [participant in the NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] I originally had this as part of the prologue, then I realized that it made a better synopsis. Please note: this might seem a bit clunky because I haven't done a lot of writing, and this is supposed to be a kind of prequel to another story that I plan on doing in the future. I will not be fully explaining everything but instead will be explaining things in that other story. This is mainly to help fill in the lore of the world so that people will have at least a basic idea of how things function. Regardless of that, that story won't be written for at least another year, so deal with it. Note: I am using ideas from several different authors in order to make sure that this can be a proper story. You may or may not recognize where I got them. I am not writing a Fanfiction and do not claim these as my own. I will add to a list of titles below as I find myself using those ideas.
