As soon as shadow let go of sonic he went in front of sonic and saw the damage from the arrow.

it was at the side of sonic stomach and was bleeding allot 'damn it faker quick we need to stop the bleeding before you lose to much blood' shadow looked around to find anything to help luckily they was next to the river and the water look clear they had something to wash the wound now he just need something to wrap around it shadow went looking while sonic slowly sat down with some leafs sonic look back at the wound the part of the arrow that lodge in sonic stomach was the only thing stop more blood pouring out but luckily sonic knew what to do about it and started to pull off his shoes then with one hand he took off his socks then he got a thick stick that was next to him ' aww jeez this is going to hurt like hell' sonic took a deep breathe and try to relax his body as much as he can and put the stick in his mouth then after he proceeded to pull out the arrow slowly so not to cause anymore damage.

He got to the tip where he snap it and use the tip of his fingers and start pulling sonic can only do was pull and bit down on the stick and muffle his painful screams he was halfway there when he started feeling light headed he then stoped holding the arrow and place his hands in the river to rinse them before cupping some cold water and started to drink it then he got some more to splash in his face to keep him counsioness and then started again pulling out the arrow with his whole hand this time he just keapt telling himself it will be out any minute to keep himself calm and then with one last pull and yank the arrow was out and in one peice sonic quickly hurryed and dip his socks in the river and press them on the wound which stung sonic like crazy but sonic had to put as much pressure he can on it and did with one hand holding down the wound he use his other taking out the stick from his mouth and grab the leafs he pick up and chew them.

he was like this for 20 more minutes and by that time shadow came back with only some fruit he found and some wood thinking as it was starting to get dark he hurryed as quick as he can so he can go back to sonic and try to stop that wound from bleeding but to his shock he saw the bloody arrow at the side of sonic and him holding his wound with something white and blood red 'FAKER WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING' sonic looked at shadow but didn't say a word he was to busy chewing on something shadow went up to sonic and drop everything he had at the side shadow grab the blood soaking sock that was still on sonic wound off he saw that the blood stoped leaking out.

shadow sigh in relived and was amazed but wonder how sonic did it while rinsing the sock and getting as moch blood off of it he then turn back and cleaned around the injury while sonic got the other sock and spit out the leave he chewed on it shadow was thinking 'what are you doing now' sonic look at him 'im using yarrow leave to put on the wound'

'wait you can't put that there it been in your mouth it would cause your wound to get infected'

'it alright these leaves are good for healing and also for keeping the wounds from being infected'

shadow sigh and told him to have it his way and just watched what sonic was about to do.

For a second sonic was hesitant but placed the sock full of spit leaves right on top of the wound and press down 'GGGHHHAA'

it took about 5 minutes for pain to numb then sonic ask shadow if he could take the sake he got tie to him and then give him the string shadow just nodded and took the sack off sonic and grab the string he put the bag to the side shadow knew what it was for so he got close to sonic and wrap the the string arond the sock on sonic but before he tie it he got the stick from earlyer and said to sonic to bit down on it sonic did and then shadow proceded to tie the string tight around him sonic couldn't help but do a muffle scream behind the stick and without relising it he grab shadow on both side's of the shoulder.

shadow was done and he waited for sonic to calm down 'thanks shads for the help' sonic said in a weak tone shadow then moved sonic hands off him and got up 'we need to stay here for the night i got some fruit if your hungry and i'll go start a fire'

sonic just said ok and shadow went to make a fire behind some trees sonic got back up slowly and walk over to where shadow was making a fire.

Sonic took the sack and went over there holding on to the wound along the way as he got there sonic saw that shadow pick a good spot as there was trees and grass surrounding them perfect for cover sonic then had to sit down again aganice a tree and tryed to relax so the pain from moving would ease up soon the fire was lit and shadow got the fruit and put them infront of sonic to eat aswell as himself.

while eatting sonic told his side of the story and then shadow told his while shadow took the sack and took the emeralds out. He was glad this time he can touch it 'so we have to go to angel island and return these to an older version of your ecidna friend'

'yep he said the emerald would be safe there but it might be a long jorney as he just said to follow north and the north star'

shadow look at his comunicater he press the screen and saw that there was an eletronic compass on it 'well at least we know were north is but why the hell is it me that has to help you'

'i don't know myself but 'im glad' your good help to me and deep down i bet you want to help me shads and on the plus side is if we take these back i bet will be home beating eachother up in no time' sonic smiled and done a thumbs up to shadow but shadow just had his striaght face on trying to ignore sonic comment 'i see your attitude still in one piece' 'me shads 'pff' always i'll keep like this till the day my heart stop beating' shadow just face parlmed as he just relized who he was talking to ' 'sigh' you are the only one i belive when saying that but right now we need to get some rest before we make a move again' sonic said alright and then lay down to get comfortable and so did shadow they were next each other but with some space between them and both went to sleep within 5 minutes.
