Beyoncé's POV
"Oh my god! Are you even packed!" I yelled.
"Don't you see what I'm doing! And why you yelling!" Angel yelled back.
"Because you should've been packed!" I yelled.
"Look, I’m almost done." She said.
"You got five damn minutes. If you not finished you catching a plane to Texas instead of LA." I said.
"Damn, okay." She said.
"Watch your damn mouth." I said.
"Can you go so I can finish." She said.
"4 minutes." I said leaving her room.
I went back into the living room. My mom was holding Blue. She reached for me and I held her.
"You ready to go to LA?" I said.
She nodded and laughed.
"Don't be too hard on her Bey." My mom said.
"I'm not gonna be hard on her mama, but she needs to be on time and take this seriously." I said.
"You know your sister and she's only 16." She said.
"Start 'em young." I said. "Angel!"
"I'm coming." She said.
She finally came out the room.
"Have fun in Texas." I said.
"What?!" She said.
I immediately laughed. Like knee slapped laughed.
"Sike, just playing." I said.
"You ain't funny." She said.
I laughed my way out the door.
We finally arrived at the jet and we're on our way to LA. I made sure Blue was situated before I went over to Angel.
"Hey!" I said as I knocked her beats off.
"Bey, stop playing." She said.
"Shut up." I said sitting in front of her. "What happened this morning can't happen no more. You need to be on time."
"Okay, I got you." She reaching for her head phones but I stopped her. "What?"

"When we get to LA you need to meet up with Angie to go over some things." I said. "It's gonna be busy."
"So what exactly is going on?" She asked.
"I'm doing the BET Experience and that's basically starting the tour and then we going hard." I said.
"It's every day or-"
"Sometimes but there are days off in between." I said.
She nodded.
"Angel, you know you my boo and my baby sister but I will fire you." I said.
"I know, I got it." She said.
I grabbed her face and kissed her cheek.
"Bey, stop playing." She said pushing me off of her.
I went back to were Blue was and she was knocked out with my mom. Well damn. I went back over to Angel.
"What?" She asked.
"Watch a movie with me." I said.
"What movie?" She asked.
"You pick." I said.
"Carmen." She said.
"You tried it." I said.
"Alright, then pick a movie." She said.
I finally picked a movie and this chick already fell asleep and we weren't even half way done
We finally arrived and I woke everyone up. We left the plane and got in the truck and went to the hotel.
"Don't get comfy Angel, I got rehearsal." I said.
"What! We just got here." She said.
"Don't matter." I said.
She groaned but I didn't care. We arrived at practice and Mama went to check on the wardrobe and Angel was following Angie around. I practiced until we stopped for lunch. I was eating and Angel came and sat near me with Blue.
"Yo, can I be a nanny instead." She said. "You too busy."
I laughed.
"I already got a nanny." I said. "You gotta work for your money."

"How much am I getting paid anyway?" She asked.
"You'll be taken care of." I said.
"Can you be more specific." She said. "My mama take care of me."
"Have you ever asked for something and didn't get it?" I asked.
"Yes!" She said.
"From me?" I asked.
"No." She said.
"Okay then." I said.
"But wait, then why am I working?" She asked.
"Experience, think of it as an internship." I said.
"Really." She said.
"Yep, Blue tell her you gotta work hard for the money." I said to Blue.
She was laughing and giggling.
"Man, whatever." She said.
She got up and left and I had Blue in my lap and I was feeding her some of my food until she bit me.
"Damn." I said.
She was laughing.
"You do it on purpose?" I said.
She kept giggling.
Angel's POV
Angie was talking and talking and talking.
"Girl, slow down." I said. "You going too fast."
"Well to basically sum it up just make sure she got what she need. Her water, her schedule, stuff like that." She said.
"So I'm a human purse." I said.
"Basically you will be." She said laughing.
"Mama, can I just be on the road with y'all I don't want to do this." I said slumping in a chair.
"Angel, your not gonna be on tour doing nothing. If that's the case you can go to Texas and be with your father." She said.
"Ain't nobody trying do all that." I mumbled.
"What you say?" She asked.
"Nothing." I said.
"If you gonna be here you gonna work got it." She said.
"Yeah." I said.
I thought this was supposed to be fun.

The Last Science
[This story is on a temporary hiatus due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. I work in healthcare and unfortunately no longer have the freetime to continue posting on a regular basis. As soon as our workload decreases, I will return. Thanks for reading! 💙] No one ever knows the whole story. Nestled deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, something is emerging. Kept in absolute secrecy, it seeps into a fading town, quietly shared from person to person. For Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate, this discovery could mean an escape from his empty existence. To Rachel DuValle, perpetually underestimated and dismissed by the world, magic represents a chance to become something much greater than herself. In the face of an unsuspecting world, their decisions shape the growth of a budding society discovering untold power. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever—or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. Want this story in smaller bites? Click here! The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series, focused on the modern world with a twist. New societies bud and grow, but the people who make them up are imperfect and flawed. The story includes elements of mystery, action, crime, interpersonal drama, relationships, philosophy, sociology, politics, and much more, all centered on the perspective characters driving the tale. Each chapter is pretty long (average ~8000 words), so find somewhere comfy to read. Content Warning (by request): This series delves into some topics and situations which may be upsetting for some readers. In American rating parlance, the narrative would be rated PG-13 (except for language), but some have noted the story can get pretty dark on occasion. Please use your best judgment, and don't be afraid to take breaks and come back later. I'll still be here! This story will also be published weekly at my website (https://etzo.li). There will be no differences in content, but slight differences in formatting. Feel free to read at whichever site or app you prefer. If you're enjoying the story, consider dropping me a vote over on Top Web Fiction, or come say hi on Discord. Thanks! Need more to read? Check out my other story, Epilogue — a post-fantasy psychodrama. Now complete! This story is a participant in the Write til the End pledge. It will be completed, no matter the cost.

Accidentally Smithing
Nik's life has been boring for the last couple of years. His engineering degree progresses adequately, he had some friends but not too many. But Nik's life would take a twist when heading home to take a shower suddenly stopped being an option. The sweet relief through toilet paper turned to ... well let's just say it isn't pleasant. Disappointed by the class {smith} assigned to him, with no knowledge about smithing or ore refining, he needs to survive in a hostile environment. Join Nik on his journey to survive in a world outside his comfort zone. -------------------------------------------------------- Crafting begins in the early tens. I am aware that some of the prose could be improved upon in the early chapters. I am working on redoing that right now!! It should get better around chapter 10. -------------------------------------------------------- I plan on releasing one chapter per week, this is not guaranteed since uni takes priority number 1.

Jalan Suram : The 100 Fire Holders
"Why us?" Still staring at the unusually stationary fire of the candle he was holding, Agung voiced the questions in our mind. "Out of 2 million people living in this city, why are we the chosen ones?" As if on cue, the eerie laughter of children could be heard above us. Holding our own candle tightly, we resolved to ignore them and continued our discussion. It was a matter of life or death after all. More than half of the initial participants had fallen and the building became more crowded as the result. There were now more ghosts than the living and each step was filled with danger from the unknown. Either we solved all the questions now or we would become another addition to the ghost camp. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There was one thing Novita found out after she accepted an invitation to a suspicious event from a seemingly legal company. Crowded didn't exactly mean safe. As more and more variables were added to the dangerous ritual, the higher the risk of death. At the same time, the higher the risk was, the better the rewards for it. But in the end, was it worth it? Note : This series was posted on scribblehub.com under the same name. The Triumphs and Tribulations of Kai Jameson
Kai Jameson is an average everyday young man. He still lives at home with his parents after having just graduated from college. He loves playing video games and his job at the local Buy More is tolerable. Of course that all changes the moment the system arrives and the Earth is connected to the Nexus. Turns out Kai was trapped in time for about eighteen months while the people already here got a headstart on him. He lucks into being rescued by some people from a town called Donnyton and learns that if he wants to survive in this New Earth he'll have to work harder than ever before. The rewards are worth it. This is Kai's story, the moments of his triumphs, and the moments when he feels that things couldn't possibly be worse. Thanks to puddles4263 and his story The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound for the inspiration on the world this is set in. If you have never read that I highly recommend it, and if you have read it and enjoyed that story then I hope you'll enjoy mine as well. This is the first story I'm ever putting out for public consumption so reader beware on that. Any constructive criticism is always appreciated, simply leaving a half star review tells me that you're a moron who doesn't know how to use words. I'm constantly trying to improve my writing and feedback and criticism on what works and what doesn't is the only way to do that at the point I feel I am at. Last, I just marked all the content warnings because you never know where a story will take you and I don't want to exclude anything (though there will never be a harem). I am going to release 1-2 chapters per week on Fridays. Thanks and enjoy.
