《Past Is The Past [Finished]》Getting Out

Angel's POV
I heard those familiar cell doors open and I was getting goosebumps. This was the happiest day of my life. No more nasty food, no more public showers, no more watching my back thinking somebody gonna stab me. Today I was getting out. I spent two years in this rat whole of a juvenile detention center because of a stupid ass mistake. Here I am sixteen years old and missed two years for bull shit. I'm glad I got my GED, something good came out of this. I miss my family though. My mama and daddy came to see me as often as they could and so did my sisters and brother, well he's my sister's husband but same thing. It sucks when you know your sisters are living their lives and your stuck because of a stupid decision. Trust and believe I learned my lesson; I'm never coming back.
"Angel, it's time to go." The guard said.
I was cheesing my ass off.
"Aye!" I heard.
I looked back at my roommate, well ex now.
"Don't bring your young ass back in here." She said.
"Trust me Nique, I'm not." I said.
I dapped her up and the guard cuffed me.
"Alright, I'm ready Ms. Teresa." I said.
"Alright, let's go." She said.
I walked out and I would not miss anything about this place at all. Well maybe Nique. When I got here I was so hard headed and always catching attitudes with people because I didn't want anyone thinking I was soft. Nique is 17 not much older than me but she was wise. She told me to calm all that down and when I did it made things a little easier for me.
They processed me out and I'm so glad my sister gave them clothes for me. It was just jeans and a shirt but to me I felt like I was wearing Versace or something. I walked out of there and I saw my mom standing there with my sisters. I almost cried because I had so much emotion.

I ran all the way over to her. Man, y'all don't know I love my family so much and to not see them when I wanted for two years almost killed me. I missed the birth of my niece and everything. That really sucked but I can't wait to get to know her.
"Let me look at you." My mom said.
I turned around so she can see all of me. I had lost some weight, my hair was longer from the braids I kept in and I hadn't grown an inch. I did grow bigger boobs but it wasn't like I was trying to make it known to the females in there though.
"You defiantly need to eat when we get home." My sister said laughing.
"Shut up, Bey." I said laughing.
"We gotta go shopping." Solo said. "Kelly and Michelle coming tomorrow."
"For real?" I asked. "I don't want to make them change their schedules for me."
"Girl, hush." Bey said. "We going shopping like we used to do."
I nodded and started crying a bit. My mom wiped my tears and I hugged her and kissed her.
"Y'all I swear I'm not gonna do anything else to mess up my freedom. Mama, I promise I'm not going back and I'm sorry for everything." I said.
She hugged me as we walked to the car.
"Stop crying Angel, I know you not gonna go back." My mom said.
I smiled.
"Why you smiling like that?" Bey asked.
"Because I want to eat." I said laughing.
Should I continue? Yay or Nay? Let me know!!!

"I know who I was. I was Aevlin, raised by Callily, wife of Alaric, son of the mad king," she said the words as if they belonged to someone else. Not her name, not her story. "How do you run the mafia?" he questions, wiping the corner of his mouth. "Well, I ground myself enough to not let the power get to my head, but I let myself get pissed enough to deal with motherfuckers like you," I say, calmly, picking up the hammer from Cameron's hand and making my way back over to the asshole, who flinches when I crouch down in front of him. "Now, I am going to break a finger for every question you don't answer, so I suggest you start talking," Previously called 'The Female Gangleader'
