《Unexpected Fondness┊saiki k x m!oc》due speciali┊Special 2

Though it took a while, Asher and Saiki were able to adjust to their schedules at college, and make time for one another. There were moments where Asher wanted to just quit and get a dimple job so he could make more time for Saiki, but the pinkette convinced him otherwise and they pushed through.
As they became more comfortable, time began to fly much faster. They had hardly realized it was already the year they were gonna graduate. They could finally get their degrees, get a stable job, and move into a nice house with each other. Their dream was so close to coming true.
All students in their final year had recently finished their final exams, and were now released onto a small break before their last few weeks of school.
Ezra, Saiki's roommate, suggested they go on a trip. A trip to celebrate surviving the college lifestyle.
Asher didn't want to. Why go out when he could stay in with his boyfriend? But.. Ann was going, and they were his friend... and, even though he wouldn't admit it, Saiki enjoyed being around them and Ezra. He couldn't keep Saiki from such an opportunity.
So, after some planning, they all gathered at a cabin about an hour away from their college.
The four booked a week at the cabin, giving them plenty of time to live out the full experience of the cabin. They even bumped into a few high school friends (Kaidou, Aren, and Nendou).
It wasn't shocking how quick their old friends were able to get along with their new ones. Asher felt great being around people he cared about so much. Like nothing could go wrong in life now. Everything was perfect.
Almost perfect.
Now, it was the last day before they were to head back home. For some reason, Asher had said he planned on spending some time with Aren and Kaidou to catch up with them. And he urged Saiki to stay with Ezra and Ann.
That was the first thing that was off-putting. Why would Asher willingly separate himself from Saiki? The pinkette could always just read his mind if he wanted to, but during their last years of high school, he decided to give his boyfriend the privacy he deserved and wear the power-blocking ring more frequently.
So, Saiki spent the passing hours boredly with Ezra and Ann. Don't get him wrong, they were decent people. He just felt out of place without Asher at his side.
"Do either of you know when he's coming back..?" Saiki muttered, his eyes lidded with an annoyed look as he crossed his arms. The other two had been chatting, but felt more like flirting, as Saiki sat silently.

Ezra suddenly started sweating profusely. "What? No, I have no clue. Don't worry, he'll be back soon! Very soon!"
Ann smacked him upside his head. They knew he couldn't keep secrets well, but holy shit. "He didn't tell us an exact time, but he did say before midnight."
"Midnight?" Saiki questioned. Why was he going to be out so late? He might as well brought Saiki with him if he were gonna be gone that long.
Unless.. he wanted space from Saiki. But that couldn't be the case. But if it weren't, then what was..? There's no way Asher would cheat on him or something, right-?
"S-saiki," Ezra stuttered out, "You're making a scary face."
Saiki's frown disappeared, clearing his head from the negative thoughts. He just had to be patient. This is fine, he's used to being apart from Asher for a while anyway.
He sighed and stood from his seat. "I'm going to go take a nap.."
Ezra nodded his head, "Alright, sleep well!!"
"Also, Asher just texted me," Ann lifted her phone. "He said to get dressed and ready at 9. He's gonna take you out to dinner."
"Awww, what?" Ezra whined, his non-existing dog ears drooping. "I want to go out for food."
'What is this idiot planning...' he sighed, nodding his head in response and walking to his room to sleep.
Timeskip ..
Saiki got dressed in the nicest outfit he brought. A green sweater with dinosaurs on it with a black and grew stripped, collared shirt underneath. He also had black cargo pants on, along with black converse.
According to Asher, this was one of his best outfits. Saiki assumed this was most likely a date, so he wanted to wear something Asher liked. He also put on the necklace with the ring he recieved all those years ago.
Asher had texted him about an hour ago the location he was waiting, which seemed to be a park. So, using his powers, he teleported there instead of wasting his time and walking.
Saiki had to walk around for a minute or two before finding himself standing in front of a path of petals. Saiki sighed, rubbing his hair lightly as he followed the path. If he knew it were going to be something fancy, he would've found something better...
The rose petals led him to a small gazebo with fairylights wrapped around the railings. There was a table in the center of it, with candles, a vase of pink, red, and green flowers and tasty smelling food.
And there was Asher, there fixing everything and doing last-minute touch-ups. Though, he quickly turned to Saiki when he heard his footsteps.

He looked amazing, as always. He had a huge, light pink collared shirt with a white t shirt underneath. He was also wearing black pants and shoes, along with his own ring.
"Kusuo.." he murmured, walling up to his boyfriend and taking his face into his own hands, pressing his lips to Saiki's forehead. "You're so pretty."
"Shut up.. do you know how irritating it was to be stuck with those to all day.." Saiki huffed under his breath.
"'m sorry. I was really out with Aren and Kaidou all day. And, they kinda helped me out with this," Asher hummed, releasing Saiki's face and grabbing his hand instead. He lead his boyfriend over to the table, seating him in one of the chairs before sitting down across from him.
Saiki clicked his tongue. "You don't have to go all out for our dates. You know that."
"I like making to make sure you know your special, so of course I have to throw in dates like this," Asher laughed lightly. "I was able to make the food too, so hopefully it isn't too bad."
Saiki hummed thoughtfully. He took a look at the glass beside his plate. "Is this wine..?"
"Of course! Everyone knows red wine tops off a fancy meal- especially since I made steak!"
Saiki deadpanned, "You know I can't drink this."
Asher waved him off. "As long as you don't more than a glass, then you'll be fine. I'm not a lightweight like you, so I'll get us home."
Saiki sighed, reluctantly giving in and silently enjoying the food and listening as Asher talked. This his how it normally was between the two and neither of them minded. Asher knew Saiki had never been talkative, so taking control of the conversation.
"Also, did you know Kaidou liked me back in high school-?"
Asher almost jumped from his seat when Saiki turned his head and spat the wine he was sipping out to the side.
"The fuck, Kusuo!? Its not that big of a deal, is it-"
"It wasn't that," Saiki dismissed his words. "I felt something in the cup. I thought it was a bug."
"Oh," Asher raised both eyebrows, a mischievous grin growing on his cheeks. "Well. Is it?"
Saiki looked in the glass, just now noticing something floating in it. He used his telekinesis to lift it out, seeing a golden ring floating in front of his eyes. "What is this..?"
Asher's grin only grew as Saiki stared at it for a moment. He shot up from his seat, snatching the ring from the air all while grabbing Saiki's hands in his own.
"Don't tell me.."
"Mhm!" Asher smiled happily. "Now, don't interrupt me. Ahh... we've been dating for almost 6 years now, and I'm so surprised I was able to wait this long to do this. You're just so amazing, and pretty, and you're the first person to capture my heart in such a way. You could attempt to murder me and I wouldn't hate you. I love you so much, Saiki. And, even if you didn't have your powers I would stay with you and help you grow accustomed to living a life like mine because with or without them, you're still amazing.
Anyways! Basically.." Asher got down onto one knee in front of Saiki, "Please marry me?"
"Please marry you? So romantic."
"Kusuo, be serious! I'm so fucking nervous right now.." the brunette laughed out despite being serious. Saiki could tell he was serious ad well, seeing the tremble in his boyfriends hands as he held out the ring.
The pinkette grew a small smile and nodded his head shortly. "Of course I'll marry you, idiot."
"FUCK YEAHH!!" Asher shouted, sloppily sliding the ring onto Saiki's hand before grabbing his face and pulling him into a messy kiss. He then pulled away and stood to his feet. "I'M GETTING MARRIED, HOLY SHIT!"
"Stop being so loud, someone might call the police."
Timeskip ..
By the time they got back, Ann and Ezra were asleep on the couch, leaning against one another underneath the blanket they shared. The other two decided to go back to Asher's dorm and sleep there instead.
They were now in their pajamas, cuddling one another in the dim room. The only source of light being the moon shining through the window.
"Kusuo.." the pinkette hummed in response. "I really love you."
"Mm.. Love you too.." he whispered back.
Asher shifted a little. "Kusuo?"
"Yes..?"
"Are you tired?"
"Yes, so please let me sleep..."
Asher sighed. The room went silent.
"... Kusuo?"
Said male groaned. "What?"
"Can we have kids when we get a house?"
"Uh- what?"
"Like," Asher sat up. "We can adopt, or maybe fond some lady willing to have a baby for us. Little babies running around the house, and maybe a pet falcon and snake-"
"You're tired. Go to bed," Saiki rolled his eyes, pulling Asher back down so he was against the bed once more.
He hummed. "You're right... maybe we should get a peacock instead."
"Goodnight."
Asher snorted softly, pecking Saiki's cheek before shutting his eyes. "G'night."

I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room
The universe is a very strange place. It will take even stranger heroes to save it."Absurd. Existential. Ridiculous. Tragic. Comic. The antiheroes of "I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room" are a kind of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern with space packs, inadvertently colliding with their destinies against a starry background of witty wordplay. With a vision as sprawling and limitless as the loveably goofy universe in which it's set, Browning's wit, wisdom and heart are always at play, combining to form a wonderfully panoramic and very silly heroes' journey that visits every trope of its overlapping genres and draws moustaches on all of them."- Marcel St. Pierre, author of "Vengeful Hank" and "Cliché and Wind Go Hitchhiking".(Sci-fi /Dark Humour/Absurd) *Completed!
