《Unexpected Fondness┊saiki k x m!oc》venti┊Chapter 20

For some reason, all the guys (save Hairou) were heading to Teruhashi's place. Asher hadn't really been listening to them speak earlier, he was off in his own world.
"Uh.. why are you guys wearing such fancy clothes?" Asher questioned Kaidou and Aren. He felt almost out of place, with his bummy school uniform still on.
"We have to wear nice, clean clothes to a girl's house, of course!" Kaidou shouted with a grin.
"Let's hurry, let's hurry," Nendou started running.. but he wasn't moving any faster than they were. It didn't make sense, but whatever.
"Seems like you're more excited than we are, Nendou," Kaidou teased.
"I really have to take a crap."
"What!? You can't take a crap at her house!!"
They arrived in front of Teruhashi's house. Saiki rang the doorbell.
"Oh, hi guys! Come in, the girls are already here!" The blue haired female let them in to her house and walked them up to her room.
"Make yourselves at home," she beamed.
'Wow, I've never been in a girl's room before..'
'It smells really nice in here.'
'You guys are really creepy.'
Kaidou sat down in a funny position by the table with Aren, while Nendou laid on Teruhashi's bed. Saiki decided to sit at the table as well, and Asher just stood beside him.
"You guys came too late, Mera already ate all the food."
'Man, what a pig..' Asher complained.
Soon, Teruhashi came back into the room. They all sat around the table, Asher being reluctant but giving in to the tugs he got from Saiki.
They discussed where they would all go for spring break. Asher was actually hoping to be with Saiki for spring break. Alone. But, any time with Saiki wouldn't be too bad..
They offered going to Oshimai, but Saiki was trying his hardest to steer them away from that idea. It was a little funny.
Soon he gave in, and they all discussed what day they would go. It seemed like Saiki was the only one busy on the days they were all free.
"Wow, your whole schedule is cleared, Asher," Chiyo pointed out.
Asher shrugged, "My mom is always busy, so I never have much to do."
"Sorry, Saiki. Just cancel whatever you have planned that day."
'Sucks to suck, I guess.'
'Whatever.'
Everyone was as rambunctious as ever on the train to Oshimai.
Asher was actually considering not going, because of a previous incident with his mother and the weird things he's been noticing before that.
'But I could never leave Saiki alone with Teruhashi! I'd might as well say I don't care about him!!'
'So dramatic.'
"Hairou, you can be our guide, then!" Nendou spoke happily.
"Yeahh, that sounds fuunn.." Kaidou slurred, then he began go vomit onto Nendou's lap.
"Oh, that's fucking gross.." Asher scrunched his nose up, looking put the window so he didn't have to witness the horrid event.
They got out of the train, amazed at all of the buildings around the area.
'Isn't this all a bit much..?' Asher sweatdropped.
"Let's go drop our luggage off!"
They walked to the hotel, seeing Mera standing in front of the building. "You guys are late."
"Mera!? I thought you couldn't make it!"
"I said I couldn't afford it. I never said I wouldn't come." She went on about how she had to hitchhike her way here for an entire week.
Asher had much more respect for her. He could never imagine surviving that just to hang out with a few friends.

In the end, the story had Hairou crying, Nendou standing in confusion, and Chiyo unaffected.
"I think we're all on different emotional levels here..."
"Anyways, let's get this trip started!!"
"Yeah!"
They visited several different areas in Oshimai. Museums, shops, and little food places in the area. They even went skydiving, which was one of the worst experiences Asher was went through.
It took Nendou, Hairou, and Saiki to drag Asher into the plane- which was still tough. He almost punched Hairou and Nendou -not Saiki, of course, because that's his beloved- in a fit of anger. He was so fucking scared, especially knowing the fact they would have to jump off.
He immediately put a parachute on before they had gotten in the plane, just for reassurance. He stood next to Saiki the entire time, his eyes shut to control the urge to vomit everywhere.
Since he was entirely focused on not up chucking his food on everyone, he hadn't even noticed they were in the spot they would jump. Nendou thought it was a bright idea to push Asher out.
Before he could even stop the idiot, he was dragged out of the plane with Nendou. And, oh boy, was it bad. He was screaming on the top of his lungs and crying- he was so scared.
Luckily, Saiki was much more composed and stay next to Asher as best as he could the entire way down.
Asher was embarrassed as hell, and hadn't been speaking since. Especially since he was pissed at Nendou. He felt like he was gonna blow up in a fit of curses and sobs at once.
And even worse, the hotel they gave their luggage to didn't even have a room for them. So they had to wait for them to get their luggage back and find another hotel.
"I fucking hate this..." Asher groaned, adjusting the duffle bag on his shoulder.
"Don't worry, we'll just find another hotel to stay at," Aren grinned at the brunette, while a black car came zooming to them.
Asher was almost afraid it was going to hit them, but it came to a stop beside them. The backseat window down, showing Saiko in the car.
'Can this day.. get any worse!?'
'Actually, it probably can.'
"What're you doing here!?" Chiyo exclaimed.
"Japan is like my backyard. Am I not allowed to walk around my own yard?"
Asher clicked his tongue. 'What a douche...'
"Actually, we're looking for a hotel-"
"No!!" Aren tried interrupting, but it was too late.
"Oh? Are you all looking for a hotel?"
"Well, that's what she just said, dumbass."
"Well," he ignored Asher, "I can lend you plebs a hand, I suppose. If you get on your knees and beg."
Asher grabbed Saiko's collar, glaring into his eyes. "Stop fucking around and find us hotel, bitch."
In the end, Saiko brought them to a hotel. A fancy one, at that.
"Woahhh..."
"Is it really okay for us to be staying here?.." Teruhashi asked timidly.
The bodyguard that brought them to the room spoke up. "Of course. We even had a spare room for the ladies to use."
"He's probably hot some alternative motive behind this.." Aren grumbled.
"Actually, he just wanted to give you folks a place to stay. Master has really changed after he met you all."
'Or maybe he gave in because I threatened him.'
'I believe so.'
"Anyways, goodnight." The bodyguard, as well as the females, left the room. That left the guys to venture around the room. Of course, Saiki was sitting off to the side while everyone was up and looking around.

Timeskip ..
"Yoo, that pillow fight last night was really crazy," Kaidou spoke within the group as they walked down a hall.
Currently, Kaidou, Nendou, Hairou, Aren, and Asher were walking together to get breakfast.
"Yeah, well, Asher's crazy 'Thunderous Pillow Slam' was really amazing!" Kaidou practically gushed.
"'Thunderous Pillow Slam,' huh? Yeah.." Asher hummed softly. He was still half awake, since the boys had forced him awake and got him up.
"Oh, hey Saiki!" But that woke him up much more.
"You're up early! Did you go out somewhere last night?"
'Actually, that's a good question..'
"G.. good grief."
"Oh, well, lets go get breakfast too." The boys walked off to get food. All besides Asher, who asked Kaidou to get him a plate.
Asher sat to the left of Saiki, scooting his chair closer. "Why're you up so early?"
Saiki's eyes averted Asher, taking a deep breath. "I was.. just awake. Couldn't sleep."
"Oh, yeah?" The brunette questioned. "That sucks. Hope you're alright. Make sure to get a nap in if you can. You know how troublesome those guys can be.."
Saiki only nodded.
'For some reason, his mannerism feels off.. maybe I'm just tired still.'
Though, he couldn't help but keep a closer eye to Saiki. He wad normally paying most of his attention to him, but he was focusing to see if he could spot any.. abnormalities.
At some point, Saiki stopped walking as the group (who all met up during breakfast) walked down the sidewalk.
"Saiki, what're you doing?" Asher questioned as his back was turned to them, his hand up to his mouth. "You feeling sick?"
"Good grief!"
"What..?"
Nendou stared at Saiki. "Are you really my partner?"
"What do you mean!? Good grief!"
"Yeah, you have been acting weird today.."
'So I'm not the only one who's seeing it.'
"What are you guys talking about? Good grief. Seriously, good grief. Totally good grief. Good grief!"
"Saiki, what the fuck-"
"But.." Kaidou interjected. "He did say, 'good grief.' It has to be him."
"Huh!? Are you sure!?" Asher was in awe. Are they dumb? Or.. maybe he was just worrying too much.
"He's probably just a little nervous because of the skydiving yesterday. It's fine!" Nendou reassured Asher. That immediately switched his trian of thought. He wasn't focused on the fact Asher was acting weird anymore, that horrid memory.. it was coming back.
"Okay, lets just go."
At some point, Saiko ended up approaching the group in a helicopter and pushed into it. They just love torturing Asher.
He wasn't even focused on where he was going. He cared for his life right now.
So, when they were suddenly standing in the middle of nowehere, it seemed, and were staring at Saiki hugging Aiyura.
"I'm actually going fucking crazy!.."
"Saiki!?"
"What're you doing here!?"
Saiki- or, who he assumed to be Saiki- stood there in silence as they yelled questions at him.
"Why were you holding the ground like that!?"
"What's your relationship with Aiyura!? Why were you hugging her like that!?"
"Everything is confusing the fuck out of me, and i just want to bash my skull in..."
"Okay, okay," Saiki number 2- which is the one who had been with them the entire time, Asher concluded- spoke. "I'll tell you the truth. We're twins-!"
"Okay, we're going now. Call us if you need us," several other Saiki's appeared out of nowhere, causing Asher's eyes to almost bulge out of his head.
"What the hell..?"
"I mean, sexpulets! That one is Ochoa, and Kuchoa, and uh.."
"Now that's just a stretch," Aren mumbled.
"Saiki!" Kaidou shouted. "Just tell us the truth! We're friends, aren't we!? At least, you are to me. I trust you and I want you to trust me..!"
Asher grunted in agreement. "Damn straight. This is fucking bullshit. No way you're going so far to keep something from us- from me, no less."
"Yeah, tell us!"
"Tell us, Saiki! Nothing you say could make us hate you!"
"Mm.."Aiyura turned to Saiki. "Think you're gonna have to tell them."
Saiki thought for a moment. "I can't. Not at the moment, anyway."
"Are you fucking serious-!?"
"It's fine, guys," Nendou said. "I'm so stupid so I don't really understand. But, if it's not going to change our relationship with him, then he doesn't have to tell us. Even if he has secrets, a partner's still a partner.
Is it a real friendship if you for a secret out of your friend? I'll wait until you're ready, bud. I think that's what a real friend would do."
Nendou's words actually hit deep. He felt like such an ass all over again. He never knew Nendou could be so smart, either!
"Nendou actually said something that made sense!!"
"I agree with Nendou. Some secrets stem from consideration of other people's feelings, so it doesn't necessarily mean we shouldn't trust him," Hairou stated.
"You can't be serious-!"
"I like you, Kaidou," Chiyo confessed.
'Not surprised, but is now really the time?'
"I like you, but I never knew when it would be the right time and I didn't want to burden you. I'll wait for Saiki until he's ready."
Everyone slowly began to agree with Nendou, which was a first. But Asher was truly proud of the guy. He was being much more sensible and logical than he (Asher) had been.
The topic was quickly changed to Chiyo's confession. "So, did you actually mean it?"
"It kind of just slipped.."
"Wow, really!?"
"Good for you, sport," Asher ruffled Kaidou's hair. "Finally got yourself a girlfriend."
"Heyy," he laughed, pushing his hand away. "Don't talk to me like you're some proud father."
"Oh," that brought a memory back to Asher's mind. "Actually-"
"Good grief.." they all suddenly turned to the real Saiki. Asher's face bloomed a deep red as he saw his soft eyes and small smile. "You guys are such a handful."
There it was again. That random, tingly feeling he got when Saiki spoke.
"You.."
Saiki looked to Asher, his smile growing an inch more as he tilted his head ever-so slightly to the side.
Asher's heart throbbed. 'Holy fuck, he's so pretty.'
"Wow, feels like I'm hearing his voice for the first time!" Nendou gasped.
"What do you mean? You've heard his voice before."
"I know what you mean. I think that's the first time I've seen him smile," Chiyo informed.
"Hey, where did Saiki go?"Kaidou pointed out, which left everyone in confusion.
"What? He was just here."
"What're you talking about, Asher?"
The brunette flinched harshly, blinking a few times. He noticed he was standing back in the hotel near the jacuzzi they had been checking out the day before.
"Are you alright, buddy?"
'No way.. NO FUCKING WAY—!'
In the end, trip ended earlier than planned and everyone went back home. Which meant Asher hadn't had much time to talk to Saiki about what he knew.
Which also explained why he was running to Saiki's house in the middle of the night. He pounded his fist onto the door, in a rush to see the pinkette.
His mother opened the door, looking frightened before smiling when he saw Asher. "Asher, dear, welcome. You just missed Ku's brother, but Ku is still in his room."
The brunette nodded, quickly attempting to calm his breath. "Thank you, Mrs. Saiki.."
She blushed, "No need! Also, Kurumi is just fine."
"Alright," he shoved his shoes off and left them at the front door, running up to Saiki's room. He didn't even bother knocking on the door, pushing the door open, and carefully shutting it behind him.
"Saiki, I'm being so fucking serious. Answer my question with honesty." Asher looked up to the ceiling, his hands clutching at his shirt.
"Okay."
"Are you.." Asher paused, trying to find the right words. "Do you have powers?"
There was silence. An agonizing silence that felt like it went on for hours.
However, it was only a mere second or two before the other replied, "Yeah. I do."
Asher looked down to Saiki. "You're serious?"
Saiki nodded.
"Okay.. what can you do?"
".. All of what I can do?"
Asher sighed, "Yes, Saiki. Everything. Please."
"Well.. Petrification but my glasses protect my eyes, Telepathy, Superhuman Strength, Durability, Teleportation, Flight or levitation, Hypnosis, Clairvoyance, Astral projection, Bilocation or duplication, Telekinesis, Shapeshifting, Elemental manipulation, Size-shifting, Invisibility, Mind control, Memory alteration, Psychometry without my gloves which are extremely thin and transparent, Energy manipulation, Genetics manipulation, Mediumship, Precognition or premonitions. And, my antennas limit my powers."
Asher's jaw dropped. "Holy fuck. You could easily just.. murder me."
"Mhm."
"That's kind of scary—"
"Which is a huge reason why I didn't want to say anything," Saiki sighed. "I don't want people thinking I'm anything above normal. I just want to be like other people.."
Asher smiled sympathetically. "I understand. Saiki.. I know it's a lot for someone like me to take in, but the right people will listen and understand. And they'll be by your side treat you like any normal person. Because that's what good friends do. Of course, it'll be rare to find that in the group we have, but I'm sure if you told them they would understand. Don't be afraid, Saiki."
The pinkette slowly nodded his head. "Yeah.."
Asher walked over to Saiki and sat on his bed, while he (Saiki) stayed in his desk chair. "So, does that mean you knew everything before I told you?"
"More or less, yes."
"And.. you did that rewind stuff? I wasn't just going crazy?"
"Yeah. Which means you're somewhat resistant to my powers. I think you may be the only person in the world like that."
"That's so fucking cool, wow.. I was right. I know the strongest person alive.. and I'm partially resistant!.." Asher basically giggled as he flopped back on the bed.
"That means you could be some sort of superhero- but you want to be normal. Right. But, embarrassing your powers wouldn't be too bad either.. but it's whatever will make you feel comfortable-"
As Asher began to sit up, he noticed that Saiki moved from the chair to the bed. He had just been staring at Asher, taking in his facial expression and body movement as he rambled.
"Saiki?"
"I think I do too."
Asher blinked owlish-ly. "Huh?"
"I think.." Saiki coughed. "I think I like you.. too."
"Oh." It took a second for that statement to fully comprehend in Asher's mind. His heart rate sped up, and he smiled nervously. "Oh- seriously? Like, you're serious right now? Honestly-?"
"Yes, Asher.. I really do."
The brunette pointed to Saiki's mouth. "Your voice.."
"I didn't normally speak before. It's hard to explain. But, I've used my actual voice around you a few times before."
"Wow.." Asher grinned giddily. "That's so cute."
The two stared at each other. They didn't know what to do next. Asher wasn't too sure how far they should go yet, and slightly worried over it in his mind completely oblivious to the fact Saiki can read his mind.
"Just do it if you want," Saiki scoffed.
"Do what- oh. Right, I already forgot." He chuckled in embarrassment.
He then slowly scoot closer to the pinkette, grabbing his hand that was resting on the bed. He intertwined their fingers, slowly leaning in. "I won't be able to stop myself this time, Saiki."
"That's perfectly fine.."
Their lips touch softly, a fluttering feeling growing at a rapid speed in their chests and stomachs. Their first kiss.. it was really happening..!
It was clear Saiki was inexperienced, but Asher thought it added to his personality and he loved it. Asher lead the kiss into a slow, passionate path. He pulled away to take a breath.
There was a soft pink to Saiki's lips and cheeks as he glanced away.
"God, you are so amazing."
"Shut up.."
"But, really-!"
"Just shut up!"
Asher chuckled as Saiki turned away to hide his flustered expression and huge glare.
'I'm so lucky.'
