《Unexpected Fondness┊saiki k x m!oc》quindici┊Chapter 15

There was another one.
Another fucking transfer student.
Why was the school so popular? Why were so many students coming in during the middle of school year? It was weird, but whatever.
Asher was sitting alone in class today, seeing that Saiki wasn't there yet. It is the brunette's fault for getting to class early, though. He didn't mean to, he just woke up too early and didn't want to sit at home alone.
Anyways, he watched as a blonde female strut into class, her eyes scanning her surroundings. Kaidou, Aren, and Nendou immediately attracted to her, introducing themselves and talking with her.
Asher overheard that she was a psychic, which sounded like complete bullshit, but whatever. Apparently, she could see someone's aura, and be able to tell their personailty from it. Something like that, at least.
"Hey, buddy!" Nendou shouted to Asher after he noticed him looking over to the group. "C'mere, she can show you something cool!!"
Asher rolled his eyes, reluctantly standing from his seat and walking over to them. He shuddered in disgust as her eyes trailed over his body up to his eyes.
"What's your name?" She smiled- which felt more like a smirk, but whatever.
"Asher Mortelli."
She clicked her tongue in disappointment. "Damn..."
"Huh?"
"I'm searching for my soulmate, and all I know is he goes to this school. Oh! And his initials are S.K."
"No fucking way."
"What?" she tilted her head to the side. "Do you know something?"
'No way in hell. It has to be a coincidence.'
"Nothin'" he glared to the ground beside him.
"Alright... anyways! I'll read your aura," she swirled her hands around the glass ball that was placed on her desk, closing her eyes for a moment before opening them to look at Asher.

"Huh..." she hummed, taking a good look at him. "Your aura is kinda funny. It's sharp, but also soft at the same time. Calm, but wild... you must be a mean person on the outside, but nice as hell on the inside. Must also mean you have some kind of issue- some kind of anxiety. But you hide it with your tough guy resolve."
His hand twitched at the analysis. Why did he feel like he was invaded of privacy, but to a whole 'nother level?
"Uhh..." Aren drawed out, noticing how Asher's vibe grew darker. "Asher, I think Saiki's here!"
The brunette turned to his desk, practically teleporting to it when he saw his crush sitting at his desk. He didn't have time to deal with her right now. He was pissed as hell, so some Saiki time would make him feel better.
Timeskip ..
"I'm telling you, Saiki. If I hear that one more person likes you, I'm gonna go batshit. Full yandere, ya' hear?"
Asher could hear Saiki snicker quietly from behind him, making him smile softly. "I'm serious!.. They're giving you too many options, you should only have to consider your love for me."
Right now, the two were in his room. Saiki was sat on Asher's bed, his legs crossed as he faced Asher. Said brunette was caring for little Saiku right now, which was why his back was turned.
The pink haired boy shrugged. "I don't understand why I'm so likeable. I try my best to be average."
"Huh, that's new."
Saiki hummed in confusion.
"I mean," Asher turned to Saiki, "Usually people aim for popularity. But you choose the opposite... it's a little refreshing. That's how I see it, at least."
'Is that so..?'

Saiki wasn't sure how to reply, so he chose to stay silent instead.
"Would it be wrong of me to wish you were average?"
'Not at all. But why would you want that?'
"Why?"
"If.. if you'd been an average nobody, then I wouldn't have to worry about other people chasing after you. All these bitches who like you only like you for your looks- or, soulmate shit. And you know it, too." Asher's lips were pressed together in a straight line, trying to stop the frown that was ever-so-slowly growing on his face.
"Do you like me because of my face?"
"Huh- nonono!" Asher quickly shook his head. "I just thought you were some random guy at first- but you gave a cool vibe. Like someone I wanted to be around. Then I got to know your personality and all that shit..."
He stopped his rambling, his facing going red. "Yeah."
A bubbly feeling swarmed in Saiki's stomach. "Yeah.."
That day, Asher's room was swarming with soft, fuzzy feelings that both of them felt. They liked it.
