《Tendou's Ship (Ushijima Wakatoshi x Male!Reader)》Study

"So (Name)," Satori began, trailing towards you, "Our captain and our manager dating? Cute~"
"You're really funny," You deadpanned, ignoring the red head's constant bothersome comments as you lazily sat in the library at Shiratorizawa.
"Oh I forgot," Satori jumped up from his seat directly across from you as your brow raised, "I told um-"
He's lying.
"I told Semisemi that I'd help him with homework, bye (Name) see you later!" He rushed out of the library, and you blankly stared in his direction. He had something up his sleeve.
Who would ask Satori of all people for homework help? You thought to yourself with a small chuckle. Your eyes remained on the doors of the library, awaiting for Satori's little plan to play into action.
Not even a moment later, Wakatoshi was shoved into the library, a tuft of red hair behind the taller male as he was pushed in. His eyes leisurely scanned the area around him, before his eyes locked with yours. A smile formed on your lips as he began walking towards you, slugging his bag on the ground when he took the seat that Satori was previously in.
"Hello Wakatoshi," You smiled up at him, before your eyes once again fell onto your work. The table you had chosen with Satori was small, and there was barely any leg room with him- but with Wakatoshi your legs constantly pressed up against one another, lightly brushing against each other as every small movement made your heart jump. He seemed to remain unfazed as his head rested on his hand silently flipping through his papers.
"Is your hand feeling better?" You asked, breaking the silence.
"It's beginning to feel better," He shrugged with his normal blank tone.
"That's good."
A few hours passed as you both studied for your own classes. You didn't get too distracted, with short moments where you would find yourself simply staring at the olive haired male (not that he noticed), or when you checked your phone when you got tired of staring at your neatly written out notes.
"Is the library going to close soon?" He asked, looking up at you for confirmation.
"Mmhm," You hummed, shutting your notebook close as you began to pack up, Wakatoshi doing the same, "Wanna keep studying together?"

He nodded as he followed you to your dorm room. When you walked out of the school, you were greeted with the rushing, cold wind of the night. The sun had already set, as Wakatoshi handed you a jacket after staring at your shivering form.
"Are you cold? You can wear my jacket again."
"But what about you? Aren't you cold too?" You questioned, reluctant to take the warm sweater from him, "I have mine in my bag I can just-"
"I'm not cold," He stated.
"But you're going to get sick-"
He shrugged as he placed the sweater in your hands with a blank expression.
You mumbled a small thank you, slugging the jacket over your shoulders before you continued your way towards the dorms. After a long walk, you entered your dorm room, closing the door behind you as his eyes took notice of how your room was slightly rearranged since the last time he visited. You practically raced for your bed as you face planted into your pillow, before sitting upwards and shooting him a beaming smile. You patted the space next to you, ushering for him to sit as he obeyed, slowly taking off his shoes as he climbed onto your queen sized bed, plopping down next to you. You took your homework out, and began to get to work, Wakatoshi doing the same as the pen in his hand traced across the paper. You were sitting directly next to each other, the warmth of his body invading yours as you let out a shaky breath. Your hand rested on your chin, tightly holding the sweater as you relaxed into the scent.
Another hour passed, and you went to go shower, Wakatoshi doing the same stating he would come back as he left his stuff. You grabbed clothes- a sweater that went down to your thighs you had bought a few weeks ago and dark blue shorts. It wasn't your fault you wanted to look good in front of your crush. It was only natural. Taking off Wakatoshi's sweater, you neatly folded it on your bed, as you got into the shower. The warm water ran down your body, the hot droplets of water trickling down your skin as you ran a hand through your h/c hair.

After you had finally gotten out, you quickly dried yourself off before changing into your clothes. The steam from the bathroom rising high in the air and into your room as you walked out, your hair still slightly wet as you sat back down onto your bed. Wakatoshi left his phone and out of curiosity to see what the quiet male had on his phone, you grabbed it. He had gotten a text from Satori a few minutes ago.
Satori:
Where are you?
Wakatoshi?
Miracle boy?
Are you still at the library?
You gently chuckled. You wanted to answer but his phone was locked as you looked at your own phone, receiving your own text.
Satori:
Where are you?
So it was his plan all along. Not that you weren't aware. It just confirmed your suspicions, as you angrily typed back on your phone.
(Name):
Are you looking for us?
Satori:
What do you mean~
(Name):
You need to stop trying to set us up Satori.
Satori:
Have fun with Wakatoshi, but don't forget to use prote-
You slammed your phone down on your bed as you were about to finish reading his text. Placing your phone to the side, you tried to calm your raging blush until you heard the door knob slightly turn, Wakastoshi slowly walking in with a black shirt and black shorts. He took his seat next to you, his hair slightly damp as he mentioned a small 'hello'.
You tried your best to ignore Satori's stupid comments, as you laid down on your stomach, pen in hand as Wakatoshi was sitting upwards, his eyes glaring into the notebook. The silence was comforting, and you were actually quite productive. The room was completely silent aside from a few questions that were being asked towards one another and before you knew it, it was already 11:30 pm. Wakatoshi didn't seem to notice the time as he wrote down the answer to another question in silence after staring at it for a solid 10 minutes. You were growing tired as each moment passed, and you could feel your eyes lids beginning to droop. You placed your notebook in your lap, and slowly, yet reluctantly leaned closer to Wakatoshi, so you were laying on his shoulder. He slightly tensed up, but didn't speak, and simply continued with his work as he ignored the contact. You loved the feeling of him being next to you, and your eyes were beginning to shut close. The only sound in your dorm room was the sound of the ac gently running, the cold air gently hitting your bare legs as you slightly moved closer to the warmth next to you sinking closer to his muscular build before you let sleep gently take you away.
Wakatoshi noticed your light breathing as his eyes turned away from his work to find your sleeping form. You were tightly clenching onto his shirt, as if your life depended on it. He inwardly smiled- but he only stared at you, examining each and every defining feature. He decided it was time to begin to pack up, as he closed his notebook and used his free hand to grab his bag, cleaning the area around him. A small, soft groan escaped your lips at the movement, and he relaxed against the soft bed frame. Should he wake you up? No you looked too comfortable. But he should wake you up, shouldn't he? He had a mental debate on what to do, and opted on staying still for a while. An hour passed, and sleep was beginning to take the athlete as he awkwardly shifted, sinking into the bed while bringing his arm down so you were laying next to him, leaning into the side of his neck. With much hesitance, his rough hand made it's way to your h/c hair, gently running his hand through h/c locks as you leaned closer to his touch. Your lips pulled into a small pout when he began to pull away (much to his discontent, to which he questioned) as he gently shook his arm out of your grasp. You loosened your grip as Wakatoshi grabbed his bag with a blank expression, making his way back to his room.
