Hey author, and everyone else who may be reading this, I'd like to share my story.

It all started in fourth grade, when I switched schools. It was the middle of the school year so most friendships had already been formed. I was the new girl, the outcast. While I did make a friend rather quickly, a friend who will play the most important role in this story, I also made many enemies as well. I became the target of relentless bullies. Many times I'd hear rumors like "Her family can't even afford to keep her clean" and things similar. Seemingly harmless, since everyone knew I was always clean.

Let's jump ahead to seventh grade now. Big jump, I know, but this is when the worse stuff started. The rumors went from my cleanliness to my sex life, hearing things like "She sleeps around because her family touches her" or "She has sex with any man that asks" I started to grow depressed. I thought, maybe when I went home it would all end. But I was a victim if cyber bullying as well. I constantly got messages with death threats or messages telling me I should just kill myself, no one would miss me.

Ready for another big jump? This is the most important part of my story, tenth grade.

The bullies are all targeting me now. "She smells" "She's ugly" "She's easy" "She sleeps around" "She should just kill herself already"

I began crying myself to sleep night after night.

I began to self harm, in any way I could. I cut. I'd burn myself. I'd go without eating for days at a time. I held my head under water until I felt light headed. I was at the point where I wanted to die. In fact, one night, I had decided to end my life. One person, and one person only, saved me. Remember that friend I made way back in fourth grade? I called her up. She didn't know it but I had planned on saying goodbye. We talked for hours until I fell asleep on the phone.

The next morning I felt better because, I knew, there was one girl who was there for me, and always would be. No matter how hard it got she stuck by me.

Now I'm 19, a high school graduate, and a mother of two amazing children. That girl who saved my life is still my best friend. And I'm talking to an amazing guy. Sure, I still have depression. Sure, I still get bullied.

The truth is, there will always be bullies in the world. You just gotta find the person who will never leave your side.
