My story started when I started primary school. My first and only friend that I made there was a boy, he talked to me and made me feel welcomed. As we were approaching Year 2, 3 years later, a new boy came and was instantly made ringleader of the group of 'popular' boys in our year. Everything was fine up until year 3 when the new boy made the call that u should be made fun of because I had befriended a boy. That was my 'crime'. I was called things like fat, ugly, thick, ect. After this I told my teacher and they all got a good telling of and some ice cream (not really). They stopped for the rest of year 4 and 5. My time in year 6 was my traumatic experience. The boy which one called himself my friend started to hit me as I walked I to class no one seemed to notice this but I knew my teacher did. She did nothing about it and said nothing to either of us. This continued until he would kick and punch me aswell as call me the names that were once said in year 3. Once before school started he told me that the other boys may not be able to handle a telling off from a teacher but he would do everything in his power to put me in my place. During this time my body was changing and I started to get boobs and my hips grew bigger, giving me my figure they also mocked me about this.(thankfully they disnt know about me getting my period !!).This continued up until February 2015 when I discovered my love for singing. I would sing myself to sleep to comfort myself some nights and got used to doing it in school. A teacher heard and entered me in a local competition which ended up in me coming 3rd she asked me to sing as a soloist in our production of Annie at school ( I sang opportunity from the new one is anyone is wondering ) the play went on as planned and everyone was astonished at my voice or so they say and most boys stopped tormenting me. I have recently been told that the boy who bullied me liked me but couldn't control his feelings and emotions but I don't know what to think of that. My advice which I would want to give would be to find something you enjoy and that no one can take away and confide in it because if you shine you are showing everyone that although people are being mean to you, you are able to do something amazing and believe in it, like I did with my singing, Thank you for reading and I just want you to know that you are the first people I have told except for the people mentioned.
